One of the devs on discord said on some devices they will add higher graphics back I’m trying to find out on which devices I currently have the iPad Pro m1 with 8 gigs of RAM and the iPhone 14
Oh yes, the update is out and the game’s just gorgeous now, with settings maxed out on resolution, shadows and fps. Beautiful. Thanks @devonsoft , a great job!
Updating now hopefully the resolution changes are supported for the high end iPads good news I saw the resolution on my m1 iPad and shadows as well so I’m good
Thanks for playing! Yeah the game runs well for the most part maxed on many devices just some areas like camp when everyone’s back and other random areas might get some fps thrashing. What we tried to avoid by not having the highest settings default is hitting the thermals where apple throttles the performance cuz then your 60fps will suddenly hit a wild ride of 20-50 and with everything maxed you may get that on some devices or long play sessions / while charging. So 30 / 60 fps will keep the thrashing from happening (although it is its own controlled thrashing i suppose) even if the device gets warm.
Yeah ok gotcha I had my settings on 60 fps and noticed overheating as well as battery drain and only played for 2.5 hours but yeah just a fair warning to everyone if you are on 60 fps be careful
Game is free to try with an iAP to purchase full game now, would be good for those who don’t know whether they like the game or not, so just give it a try.
