I was surely aware the two are different, and in general Cave games are released at an intro price, but the game is from 1 family (mushihimesama) and that's a relation no other Cave game has. Thanks for being really, really helpful though
Does Bug Princess have a sense of level progression like Bug Panic? In Bug Panic there was a lot to be lost if you died. After a certain point, you had to restart levels to cross it. In Espgaluda, you just hit continue and keep playing the level till you cross it. I'd prefer bud panic kind of level crossing mechanic. I am not the one for high scores as much as an absolute challenge of crossing a level. High scores are also important when a game stops me from playing further after a certain no. of deaths and tells me this is the score. While i am enjoying espgaluda a lot, i don't like the level crossing mechanism there. If i am coming off as a total noob about bullet hells here... that is because i am...
You're just new to the genre... we all were at some point. And yes, Bug Princess is more of a highscore game. You'll notice that your score resets (or stops) when using a continue, so they're only really there for practice or to help you experience the full game. Having said that, there are 3 different game modes and a variety of difficulty levels. Playing Ultra on Hell difficulty for example, will challenge any player.
I installed it and now can't open the game at all. I just get the CAVE screen for a sec then a crash back to springboard. I've restarted but am hesitant to delete/reinstall since I want my local scores saved. Anyone else having a problem? I'm on a 4S phone running the latest stuff.
Yeah, I've got an ipad 2 with latest firmware and it crashes. Edit: Deleted/Reinstalled. Game is now working again!
Read the first pages of the thread it's a game center bug and will work with wifi off or in airplane mode.. Sucks but the game is sooo badass it's worth it ....
Yeah seems you need to delete the app and install it again. If not you will keep getting a crash during the startup.
Just a quick question. How does stage progression work in this game, is it like ddpr? Or does it consist of finishing a stage, selecting the next stage and so on..
If you finish all stages, can you continue from the beginning like in ddpr? I fort what its called...
What's the difference between Arcade mode and Smartphone mode of Espgaluda? The only thing stopping me to buy this game now is that I'm worried they'd release a smartphone version then an ultimate version containing both arcade and smartphone modes like Espgaluda.
Espgaluda II contains both... One has one mode, the other has the other mode. And they don't have very big leaderboards. However, Espgaluda II has both of the modes, so it's a nicer package. Unless you just want to buy them for the icons to go alongside Espgaluda II.
