After buying Bug Heroes and it going permanently free I'll probably wait and see if this ever goes free as well.

"The horde" is a very difficult level. Probably supposed to be that way though. I finally discovered how useful posion cloud can be lol

Had one crash so far, but the crashes here are bad; you lose your progress in the mission and have to start over.

Sorry, I turn the music off in most the games I own...I enjoy just the sound fx or seldom I turn my library music on. Having a blast so far. Things I can agree with tweaking from my experiences:

    - Somehow making Larger objects in the level(s) transparent so your not fighting blind when you travel in that given area. It's happened a few times where mobs pinned me, and I figured that out after I got unstuck from killing them while the others continued to follow. If I saw where I was I could have possibly avoided being pinned(no deaths to report though :p).

    - NPC's: Yeah, it could be as simple as putting the 'Tap Screen' icon in the middle of the screen like other NPC's after the initial conversation to avoid talking to them on accident over and over because then you'll have to confirm talking to them. I like that your looking into decreasing the talk-zone too.

    - When traveling in smaller areas, cracks, along walls, and crevices...it feels like the character has an invisible cushion around them(character zone too large?) that stops movement, so you cant go too far into certain areas or cracks, corners, etc, or touch/strafe along certain objects. I know it sounds nit picky, but in Bug Heroes you don't have that invisible cushion and your character is able to strafe along walls, in corners, cracks, set up porta turrets and bunker yourself in a crevice...it just feels more flush in Bug Heroes and it's highly noticeable as is in BHQ.

    - I noticed some of the font in message pop-ups/story-lines are slightly cut off(very slightly) at the bottom. Not a big problem at all but it's noticeable at times when it happens. I'll see if I can provide a screenhot or two later on this.

    - I'd like to have map options, maybe an option to decrease the opacity more, change the map-view to have an option to be smaller in the top left corner that's smaller and solid(discreetly over the current map icon where you can tap again to change to a different map view), an option to where the map opens up as you explore like in most dungeon crawlers.

    - Option to move customize Controls(iPad 2) they feel fine initially, but when playing longer sessions you do start to feel cramped in the area your cradling your iPad/2 because of where the DS are place(and the extent of your thumb positions).

    - Enemy spawn range isnt so bothersome...I love a challenge and I love that Bug Heroes always kept me engaged with constant challenges. Increasing the spawn zone wouldnt hurt as long as the enemies keep coming. ;)

These are just observations I wanted to comment on from my experiences so far and I am in absolute awe of the story that's unfolding(crossing my fingers Worm is a possible Coliseum character). I'm having a blast with BHQ and know FM will address any known issues as soon as they can like always. I personally haven't had any crash bugs, stutters, or anything else that rendered the gameplay on my iPad 2 latest OS.

    * FM I also(as others have stated) would LOVE for you to put the damage indicators in Bug Heroes like you have in Bug Heroes Quest...you have no idea how dope that would be!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEEEEEEEEASE add this feature!!! :D

There are some parts of the game where Ant's "Chosen One" Passive does not activate. Sure, you can argue that since it's a percentage-based skill, one can have horrible luck with it. But mine is maxed, and THREE times in the Colesseum, Chosen One does not seem to proc until at least 5:00 minutes+ (including many other parts of the game).

For those who have received apps as gifts, can you post here exactly how you go about confirming you received a gift and/or started downloading it, please. One of the members here I gifted the game to is having trouble with this - and I have never received a gift (just sent them) so don't know how it works exactly from the receiver's end. Thanks guys.

Thanks Godson and others... we are working to address all known issues quickly. In regards to the hero bounding, can you give me an example? The bounding is pretty darn flush against the walls unless there are some areas that just slipped through...

Just wondering if you know that Chosen One only affects other Ant type enemies (the ability is essentially Ant "freeing" enemy ants and converting them to friendlies)... it does not work on all enemy types.

Hey, all the reciever has to do is go to the email they gave you. There should be an email from iTunes saying that theyve recieved a gift with a link attached. They click the link and their itunes opens. After they sucessfully sign-in the game will start to download

Picked this up last night and loving everything so far except the dagginfarbed "autochat" with NPCs, that has got to go in my opinion.

Why not a chat button like most games or something, because the existing system is beyond annoying.

    We will see...

This - Mr. Grizzly is what should happen. If the people you gifted to didn't get an email, I have no clue as to how they redeemed the gift.

love the visible damage and changeable level up skill system.

One person yesterday told me he just checked for updates and it was there - kind of like checking for the latest TV episode when yoy buy a season: you can follow the link in the email or just log in and manually check the itunes app for available downloads.

None of the four others I gifted the game to stated anything about receiving an email - so I am at a bit of a loss here. Don't know how to troubleshoot on my end until I receive the bill in an email. I don't want to get charged multiple times for the same game for the same person. Any suggestons here?

Sorry, not so much walls, but objects(it seems as if there is an immovable space between your character and background objects in the level). I'll try and take screens later tonight and send them to you.

IMO, you should buy it and support an awesome developer. Putting the original as a free game is a marketing decision to build momentum for this release, I would think.

Spiders poison cloud is causing my game to lag really bad when it gets lots of enemies, is nobody else getting that?

No lag on my device - but the first time the poison cloud kicked in, I thought something had exploded on screen!

FM, one suggestion I have: on the level select screen, it might be nice to have a little box come up indicating how many monster kills and how much damage maximum allowed in order to get the gold medals on each level, rather than having to go into each level to find out - if someone is replaying a level to try getting these medals that would be helpful.

spider mission to get the beetle, no clues about where to get the key, so one should search the level. and surprise, in one of the areas dozens of fleas spawn, gg and restart. hopefully update will make the map more useful.
