Reclaimed my spot in Office. Round 71. I got tired and quite sloppy towards the end. Anyway, something occurred to me. Towards the end of the game, quests become less relevant. They're more difficult to complete, yet offer less points relative to the points you get off killing things. So how about making quests' score scale as well?
You're referring to the point bonus earned from completing the next round, not the enemy points (which don't change). Basically you get (round # * 100) points, which means after round 30 or so, you're getting quite a pretty penny per round. Perhaps we should cap the amount of points earned from rounds to keep quests relevant (the problem with scaling quests is that with increased point rewards comes increased penalties, making them just as risky as before). If we do this we will certainly reset the leader boards... but should probably do that anyway with all the balancing that has happened. Also remember Hard has been tweaked in the next update... ie less enemies (meaning quests are more possible to complete), and less gold earned from regular enemies, meaning also that to effectively earn money you will HAVE to continually complete quests. @ rain
@Oxynidus I really tanked up Beetle yesterday. (don't anybody ever say he is the weak point of the heroes again! lol). but anyway, the couple things he can't handle are scorpions, due to their speed, and bumble bees due to their range... so do you use some abilities and switch to ant, or how do you handle them?
Yeah, if equiped properly, and armored up the bettle is a monster. I just like having range as my first oprion so I go with the ant first, then the speed and damage of the spider.
Jamie, are leaderboards are going to be reset after the update? Will you wipe saved game high scores? I have four games going and I don't want them to be lost. PS. Look for me on the leaderboards as "addaplatypus". I'm sorta like the Oxinidus of easy!
I don't ordinarily fight scorpions and bumble bees with Beetle. I kite the scorpions at the base on a Spider Web or two near the turrets, while firing at them with Ant, and using Teleport and Ninja Smoke if they get too near. If we're dealing with large groups, activating Shockwave, Colossus and Adrenalin should do the trick. Bees usually don't come in packs, so they shouldn't be too difficult to handle. In tight situations, I pretty much do the same thing as with Scorpions, but otherwise they're easy to circle with Spider while slicing them.
Score posting problem? I just got 90,000ish points on Hard on office but the "post" option wasn't there! wahhh in fact, it isn't there very often! even though i am surfing the net thru multitask so i know i have internet... what should i do?
The only way the post button doesn't show up is if its not an overall high score (all time high score)... this is why the post button is often not displayed. So in other words, the only time the post button shows if when there is a "high score" badge next to your score as well.
Finaly i made it into the top 3 (office, hard)!!!! Also for the first time all my turrets where at level 5(max). So I had a question will it be possible in the update to do more with youre money? Because I bought te best abbilities for my heroes and my turrets where at there max so dont had any purpuse for my money anymore. There was just no more stuff to buy. Still I will keep pushing for the number one position and looking forward to the update. Thx again for the great game!
Oh Shit look!! my score DID get posted!! (Carnage) thats crazy...the game automatically knew it was my highest and posted it without asking...pretty cool

I don't understand this at all. You are going to want to have some experience with the game, the heroes, the maps and the enemies. It'll be overwhelming with 9 bugs and no experience.

Why "mob" do you guys/gals hate them most? If you see them you go after them at all cost's? Mine have to be the Flea team gunners, omfg, can't tell u how many times I was doing great got stuck in a bad spot and became a health losing basket ball.
