No idea what the percentage of iOS games is who've enabled it, but Angry Birds has 7.9 million users on GC, so there's clearly millions using it (and Flower Garden, a "game" about growing virtual pots of flowers has 109,000 users). Let's just assume you're a statistical outlier and your most likely customers are the least likely to have GC enabled I don't know how happy you are with your sales, but I've played a lot of damn games in my 30 some years of video gaming (first game system was an Atari 2600), and BH is an immediate gem that I'm going to remember. Everybody who loves this game should be doing what we can to see its numbers rise above 171, because it deserves to do better than it is whatever that actually is
Hey foursaken media i have happened upon a problem. In the abilities menu some of them should be unlocked but are not. For example entrench is locked but before the update i had it and it shows that it is 217% finished. Other abiliities are like this oh and where exactly is the plasma cannon i checked most of the abilitys except for the ones that i cant unlock. (See Above)
You have to start a brand new profile after the new update(if you hadn't already) in order for it to work properly.
Yeah... its a problem with having to encrypt the 1.1 data. There is no other way around it other then to create a new profile We're giving away some new equipment for 1.1.1 (just submitted yesterday) as an "apology." Again, we apologize to everyone for the inconvenience.
Actually shotguns are in the works for the next update... Equippable pistols for Spider will be in this update though, as well as a new ability for Ant and 2 new ones for Beetle.
well, I just took the top spot on office hard... but only because Oxynidus' score crashed when you tried to post it. :/
Thanks all for the tips. I finally drop Dungeon Raid and go full gear on this. The problem I face in the new version is that more often than not, my heroes die out before the food runs out... Will try to go for the turrets first.
Well don't forget, in a way a good base defense (whether its through turrets or actively defending your base with your heroes) is also crucial for keeping your heroes healthy... the less damage your food stash takes, the more food you have to feed your heroes with. You should probably be feeding your heroes every time you make a run to drop off more food.
One thing I did/do is play Coliseum to hone my skills and spec different character skills. The treestump level is the perfect place to practice with your characters. Adventure stages should be a lot more adaptable soon after. When playing adventure stages, I like to first fill my tower slots, then up them all each to level 2(sometimes 3) as well as up my food to max in the mix of it. Add skills to my characters when/if needed, relying on my dojo skills(often switching characters) and insectopedia knowledge to exploit the enemies weaknesses. Every level does have different strategies but that's the gist of it for starting out adventure stages.
I've got to ask this question: When using Spider, and attacking armor ants, I will occasionally get tossed back, in the same way that I would if I tried to attack a Spike bug. I take no damage, however. This has been in every build since the second beta to the current release. Next, does anyone else find the title of this thread redundant? Third, why was shoulder turret pushed to $700? as a great beginner item but not some thing useful toward the endgame, i think it should cost less, not more. Finally, does anyone else feel that money isn't a big factor in decisions? If I need something at the moment or in the long run, I'll pick it up, regardless of price. PS: Did you know that during the beta, Ant came with goggles pre-installed? He didnt get the damage boost but did have a zoomed out view without using an ability slot.
1. If you watch, the armor ants have a blocking animation with their shield. When they are doing this they take no damage and melee heroes will get knocked back. 2. Probably The thread name will be changed with 1.1.1 anyway 3. It was pushed to $700 because it was buffed. Its standard range is longer and it does more damage -- it is no longer a "starter" ability but a legitimate way to boost damage. 4. We like the balance of equipment to be more by usefulness rather then price (again, for the most part), which is why most things don't have huge discrepancies in cost. In Bug Heroes, apart from a very select few abilities, you can use just about ANY set of abilities and be successful with them, as long as it is part of a coherent strategy and you know how to use those abilities to their fullest potential. Sure there are more powerful equipments, but even then its not a guarantee you'll want to equip those in all scenarios. Also its not so much about what you can buy, but when to buy it and the order that you buy things. There is a huge difference between gearing up one hero heavily, gearing up each hero bit by bit, spending your money all on turrets, etc... Are you saying that you feel you have unlimited money or that you want certain items to be more expensive? It perhaps could be interesting to have a greater difference in prices, but also the effectiveness of certain abilities as well. In regards to the Goggles... I think you are remembering something different Ant currently, and has always had a slight increase in view distance with his standard weapon, but it has been the same amount since long before beta. You can switch characters and see the camera slightly zoom out. This is not limited to Ant though, and is dependent on the weapon/ability selected. Spider pistols will have a slightly zoomed out view. Beetle Shockwaves and Entrench as well.
