It seems to go away the longer you play. I played again same level and the stuttering wasnt occurring as often. Only would happen once in a while when something would pop up on screen. If this doesnt work for everyone I would consider the stuttering game breaking it happens too often.
oooh, Bug Heroes is finally starting to climb the charts! I better get my act together before all these new players leave me in the dust... haha
Not all if it, only some of it. Waiting to hear from foursaken media as to what to do.Any tips der- kleine?
@ WC -- you have to create a new profile with 1.1. This should also fix most, if not all of your performance issues as well. @ ninjakid -- Yes, the update will mess up your current data and you'll need to create a new profile. This is an unfortunate side effect of the new encryption to prevent cheating, and a few other under the hood changes that had to be done... turns out you'll have to create a new profile at some point no matter what, so its probably better to do it sooner rather then later. Note that achievements and awards will be transfered over to GC automatically though, so you won't lose those. The "only" things you will lose is your unlocked equipment, levels and armor. I know it sucks, but its something that had to be done... We thought we would be able to have it transfer over properly (impossible to test the update process exactly as it happens in reality, unfortunately -- which is why this slipped through), but looks like we couldn't. In hindsight we should have just automatically deleted all profiles with this update to prevent any issues. We'll probably release a 1.11 update which will add a one time message informing people that they need to create a new profile if they haven't already. To "ease the pain" we might try to expedite some new equipment for the heroes as well
Ouccchhh... Wow so I'd just have to unlock all my stuff again... *sighs* oh well I guess there's no other way. *updates*
Don't let it get you down ninjackid! I have to do the same thing. To quote dr. Smith from lost in space " oh! The pain"
Well I just want to chime in that after deleting the old version and reinstalling the game fresh on my iPad, it is playing silky smooth in Coliseum Mode (other than maybe a slight pause as the day/night cycle changes)! It looks sharp as all heck! Oh, am I safe in assuming all of the Ant's base related abilities have no meaning in Coliseum Mode?
Not entirely... Better Base Guns will increase the power and range of Porta Turrets by quite a bit. Probably not worth an equipment slot, but it isn't completely worthless, which is why we didn't remove it.
Ok so should I just delete my old version then reinstall it again? Or just let it update like it normally does?
Updating should be fine, though if you have the time, to make sure everything is extra gravy a fresh install is almost always the best route with any game. But updating and starting a new profile should work just fine. Oh yeah, and I almost forgot we added a new turret too Don't forget to unlock it from the pond level!
Ok then so I'll probably just delete my old version and start afresh, since I'll lose my unlocked stuff either way. Thanks for the help!
After deleting my original profile, I don't notice the same stutters or hangs that previously occurred when new enemies spawned or fired projectiles, so that's good. However it does still stutter any time a message is updated in the msg UI bar at the top of the screen. No, it is not "game breaking" but it is mildly distracting and annoying and noticeably different from the previous version. Finally, using the iPod (music) option is proving a little bit crashy for me. Not every time, but enough so I'm not bothering with it anymore. [4th generation iPod Touch]
