but in 1.1 the saved games will be encrypted, so 1.1 shouldn't load 1.0.1's unencrypted saved games...
1.1 will encrypt all your save game info from 1.01 (but all high score data is completely new in 1.1). We wanted to make sure of course all of your achievements, high scores, etc transfer over seamlessly from 1.01 --> 1.1, and in doing so we totally missed this issue... I was hoping for some reason we HAD to kill all 1.01 save games, but it looks like they will transfer over with everything else. We'll keep a close eye on ridiculous high scores though, but won't delete anything until we get a good idea of what kind of scores the better players can achieve with the new 1.1 food balance. I'm really curious to see how far those who were getting in the 100s of rounds on normal and hard can make it in 1.1. Worst case scenario, we'll reset the leaderboards again with 1.25, delete all current save games, and make sure everyone is finally on an even plane.
I think I've made my first RL sale of Bug Heroes. While sitting at Outback steakhouse, waiting for a table, I take out my iPhone and play Bug Heroes. The guy next to me is taling on his iPhone and goes "hey, look at this cool game this kid is playing." So I told him the name and he went to download it.
Haha, thats awesome Wow, did you work some voodoo magic or something? Game is now "In Review"! I doubt it'll be approved tonight though, but at least we can expect it soon.
It used to... a little bit before Christmas and early this year things would go in review in about 3 days, and almost instantly be approved. Bug Heroes for ex was approved in 3 days total... the 1st update was good to go in 2 or 3. Thats not to say currently its too long, it was just insanely fast then, and has gone back to normal.
Maybe reviewing Universal apps take more time. Whatever. The wait is driving me nuts. I've been checking iTunes every half hour or so for the past 3 days. It's gotta be today!
Oxy, I have been feverishly checking for updates just as yourself. It seems we've been struck by gamer-fever.
