No, we're currently working on them now. The six heroes is what we have planned for the NEXT big update. We'll give more details on them soon. Also I just want to be clear, we are likely to have a mix of IAP and free updates for the larger content additions. Any IAP we have will be extremely fairly priced though, as in packs of several heroes and levels for $.99 -- none of this buy a million different $1 purchases so the total game cost is like $14.99. We definitely have no intention of gouging players, but we have to be fair to ourselves as well. We know obviously some people are totally against IAP, but the reality is this much new content will take as much time to create as an entirely new game, and will more then DOUBLE the content of the release version of Bug Heroes. And just to make doubly clear we will still be offering free content such as new levels and equipment for those who don't want to shell out the extra dough for new heroes... we think we'll end up having a good mix of free and paid content updates to satisfy everyone. The upcoming update will include some new equipment, game center and ipad support, as well as tons of bug and balance fixes. After that we'll likely release some more free equipment and possibly a new level leading up to the larger hero content updates.
We're going to link the IAP purchases with your itunes account, so you won't lose any purchases if you buy them and switch devices or whatever -- once bought, you'll have them for good... so in all honesty, what is the difference between spending $4.99 up front vs $4.99 total in IAP, except that with IAP you have options to spend less if you feel like it? I understand some games have tried to rip people off with IAP, but I really wish people would take it on a game by game basis. This is what we hope will be the prevailing attitude ... if you enjoy the game, you're likely to get the extra heroes. If you don't want IAP, you can still enjoy the free equipment and level updates. If you don't like the game at all, well at least you didn't spend extra money up front on it
I'm ready to support this Dev. with IAPs. I'm really enjoying the game and can't wait to see what you have in store. By the way do you have an idea of when the universal update will come? I can't wait any longer Also are you still planning on having a dedicated button for switching heroes since it's harder to tap your hero on the ipad? I know it was talked about in previous posts. Thanks
yep, hero switch button is in and working like a charm I must say, the game really looks good on the larger screen where you can actually see the details on the heroes... Now I can see why people don't go back to their phones once you own an iPad! As for eta, we just have a few more bugs to iron out. Hoping for a submission very soon. I'll let you know as soon as I have a more exact date.
thanks for the info. I'll try multiple lasers. yeah, I agree about the snipers. however, I like to have a sniper especially to take out the flea gunner teams. but I haven't tried any lasers in the kitchen yet, so I assume they will probably take care of the gunner teams. @Forsaken_Media I am perfectly fine with IAPs in Bug Heroes. But I would like to say that normally when looking at apps I get turned off when paid apps have IAPs. so my point is that if I were you I would wait until Bug Heroes catches on and gets popular before adding IAPs, otherwise it might cripple its ability to get popular...
you are perfectly right. I purchased BH on my iPhone, and I never played on it. I did it on my iPad all the time.

There, Round 50 on Playroom (Hard) using 4 machine guns. Excited about the update, especially because of the universal support.
so i haven't been to this thread in a week, and quickly glanced through it. i see that 6 heroes and iap will be added. what else is new? Whats been going on?? also i would like to say that the praying mantis just has to be a new character. how far down the road do you think the next big content update will be? 2 months? also, what is the update you guys are submitting this week? if i recall correctly, wasn't the ipad/ gamcenter udpate submitted like last week? and it has come out yet.. since i only play on the kitchen map, hasn't anyone developed any new startegies? also will any new maps be similar to kitchen and office or playground? like open or kind of linear? and finally, can you guys please try to add more to colisium? idk about you guys, but i usually just play colisium, since i don't like spending the amount of time needed in adventure, and i don't like continuing a gmae midway through. keep up the great work foursaken!!
Presumably, Sniper turrets should be more useful against a few high health targets because they won't miss or "waste" damage. In actuality though, I completely agree with you and MG turrets own at level 5. In addition, I think there are three bugs that are very likely to become heroes: The Praying Mantis: Introduced in the history scrolls, would fit right in. The Lady Bug is a unique bug that hasn't been introduced yet. She would work perfectly as a hero. And of course, the platypus...
they haven't submitted any updates yet. but here is what is in the next update that might be submitted this week: Oxynidus says to use multiple laser turrets. I haven't tried it yet, but it makes sense. (@Foursaken_Media) I don't play collusiem much... it seems like it just has less features than adventure (no turrets, no switching between characters, etc.) and doesn't add anything of its own besides.....mushrooms? IMO, I think a fun thing to add to collusiem would be more powerup slots, like 6 or 8 instead of 4. that could make it fun, because you could constantly be using a lot of powerups. and maybe lower the cool down times also. but I don't know.....
We do plan on adding another coliseum level... ideas/suggestions? Keep in mind it should be smallish, arena like, and preferably with some sort of unique game play addition or environmental hazard. As for the adventure levels we have so far, they are a mix of open and more linear. And don't get too comfortable with MGs, we've nerfed them a bit for the next update
That is MY record you are talking about Jay! and it is 20 rounds better, not 10. Only two people have made it past round 21 on Playroom Hard. Congrats at being one of them NZ, if it is a real score that is... NZ also has a double posted record with the same score on kitchen and office hard. What is up with that?
I don't know what's with the double-posting. It might have something to do with the game being unable to connect to the leaderboards for some reason, so I have to quit the game and run it and check the scores. And yeah, it's a real score. I can be kinda good sometimes.
