Siege maggots are not primary targets of MG turrets... they have a decent amount of ranged armor and HPs so are actually considered primary targets of Sniper Turrets.

Can laser turrets go through walls? And what are their primary targets?

    Brainstorming some less-mentioned stuff:

Locusts (come on, we need some locusts! Yeaaaah)

Termite Queen (did you know they can live for 50 years? Seriously)

Antlions (maybe have them hide in ant holes your ant creates?...if you don't kill them before they get to the hole, you can't use that hole again?)

Tarantula Hawk / Bullet Ant (most painful stings in the world.)

    Bombadier Beetles (think walking landmines)

    Bot Fly (shudder)

    (No, seriously, SHUDDER)

    Giant Millipede

So, you just figured you'd give the devs a list of some of the nastiest insects in the world to throw at us? Yes, because that is what my stalwart group of bug heroes needs: more death and defeat ;)

No, the bitterness of a defeated Spider aside, great list!

Can you defend the aquatic invasion of the giant waterbugs?

Able to withstand the awesome wing-beat power of the horsefly?

I don't quite remember. I know I had a zapper, but I may have been experimenting with 3 laser turrets that game (unless I'm confusing it with another game I played on Easy). I'll give it another try and let you know.

I remember sadistically tossing ants into holes with lion ants in them back when I was a kid in Belize.

And I remember running away from a tree of Bullet Ants in the rainforest.

Locusts and giant millipedes are ridiculously evil sounding. God, the game is hard enough to begin with.

Sorry about the name aqil_exia00 ;)

    Some interesting ideas tossed around!

And finally, in the next update MG turrets are slightly nerfed (mainly in the range department), and Firecracker turrets have been buffed... so you should be able to have success with some different turret builds.

Also we made easy quite a bit easier as well... much cheaper cost to revive dead heroes and better starting turret to name the most important changes.

And just to wet your appetites, there will be a total of SIX new heroes coming in the future! You will be able to pick any 3 heroes that you own to take with you into battle... we've got a few up and somewhat running already and man does it add a lot of re playability to the game... its really fun to test out different hero combinations -- especially considering the heroes have been painstakingly designed to be as different as possible, while still keeping them viable in both adventure and coliseum modes. Just keep in mind that each hero is still specialized in one primary strength (ex: beetle = swarms, spider = big bugs, and ant = all around range), so it will definitely take some thought into choosing your "party."

Anyway, more info on the huge content additions after we release the gamecenter/ipad update.

    nine total heroes?!? woah......
this game could just have the first three heroes, only the kitchen level, and no coliseum mode and it would still have a huge amount of replayability......

btw, what is the answer to this?

You guys are amazing! Now I understand your development strategy. This is a very wise choice and is in fact vital to the future success of this game. Still, I cannot imagine you guys are adding SIX new heroes in!!! This is so much fun.

And I am with the point that this game is already very playable. With the six new heroes. I even don't have to install any app. I can play with it for the whole year...:D

Dear Foursaken_Media, personally, I think this is the best game ever on the iphone. No offense to all the big hits apps brought by a lot of great companies, this game just encompasses so many genres, already well-balanced, very strategic-oriented with fantastic UI experience and graphics. BUT the problem is that I just don't think many people know about it, just like angry birds! You guys should probably consider doing more promotions and ads. I am giving the suggestion just because I think this game is so great and I would love more people to enjoy it! :D

Once again, Dev, Great job! You make my life beautiful!

    I. Am. FLOORED.

This is Fantabulous news. Spectastical. Splendiforous.
I've lost my capacity for lexicological construction.

Can you at least give us some hints? Maybe as to the gameplay style of the heroes? We have ranged, light+fast melee, and heavy aoe melee.

    I'm thinking....a heavy+slow aoe/volley range ("Mortar" esque?)

Maybe a damageless bug that just adds money the longer you use it? (a risk to add it into your 3-player roster, but every second you use it more coins appear on the map? Risk/reward trading, as it lets you level up your guns/other bugs?)

    Oh, and of course....

    DUNG BEETLE!

I don't know what it will do, but i'm sure it will be awesome : D

This is all brilliant. Thank you!

Laser turrets are awesome in Kitchen due to the narrowness of the map. I think 2 or 3 Laser turrets is ideal, but I'd start off with a couple of machine guns first and sell them later.

By the way, I've noticed that Sniper turrets become less relevant as you progress. Machine guns remain useful and even essential in taking out fleas, grubs, baby spiders and other small bugs, but sniper turrets are hardly of any use when you're constantly fighting multiple centipedes, giant scorpions and other high HP bugs. Am I missing something?

One extremely irritating thing that tends to happen is when you forget that you're on a Prowess/Expert/Maximum Honor quest and switch heroes. Can we please have a confirmation message before switching Heroes while doing one of these quests?

This has been discussed a bunch internally, but ultimately we decided to stick with no alert messages. In a way, thats just part of the quest system... as with any quest you have to be mindful of which ones you have decided to undertake, from hero honor quests to coin collection quests. I do find it frustrating as well when I lose one of those by accident, but I'm not really frustrated at the game, but more that i wasn't able to remember. After all, these quests are the ones that you earn the most points from! a Maximum honor quest is BIG time in the points department...
