    is this common?

i've read previous posts to be sure, but on level 14 ( yard map, normal mode) it's normal to have to face a queen ant, scorpion ,grub launcher & 2 big snails , as well as a butterfly at once?

If I were the devs, I would definitely put the multi-player defense battle support (either local or online, whichever easier) into the first priority. Of course there is always other bugs/heroes/modes that can be added, but seriously, I see huge potential of this game to be the real best iphone game if it supports multiplayer.

Dev, you might want to give it some thoughts. I am an outsider to game development, maybe this is good but is going to take a long time (in which case it may contradict your current plan). Whatever happens, this game is really sooo amazing, you always have my support.

kept hearing " the bugs are eating your/our food " checked the perimeters around my base didn't see anybugs eating my foodstash. so i went out looking for food. once again it's repeated same results. 3rd time i realized it was a grub launcher. those guys can do some serious damage to your food stash.

I'm not sure which bug I consider to be the most irritating. haha. Siege Maggot? Slug? Grub launcher?

Siege maggots and grub launchers have both been nerfed for the next update ;) Also make sure you keep your eyes on the notifications on the top -- they announce when grub launchers spawn.

Is it me or are machine gun towers by far the most useful? I find it necessary to have at least two of them on all maps.

    love this idea.
the catch would be that the heroes couldn't eat food either, right?

Yeah that idea is great, except maybe instead of having the bugs totally unable to eat it, maybe just have it take them a lot longer and have them be damaged each time they take a bite.

no it's not just you, i recently noticed the same thing. i used to use 2 snipers a zapper & 1 machine gun for my base setup. but after reading player "broadpfc" comments i decided to change my setup ( instead of the zapper i use the magnifier (i didn't know i'd unlocked it) now i use 2 machine guns,1 sniper & 1 magnifier. so far my scores have improved greatly but i'm still working on the perfect base setup. what about you?-

I tend to do with a zapper, two machine guns and one laser. Sometimes 3 machine guns are better. I manage to get into the top 3 on most maps' highscores as NZ.

For me it's the one that stops a few feet away from your base and eats food using its tongue... I find those do the most damage because your guns are always aiming for other bugs yet that one gets unnoticed.

Yep. four siege maggots do more damage than a centipede, but whenever they show up, my turrets focus on fleass and ants instead:(
