We'll also be running a promo code contest in the near future, so stay tuned... @ Osmiral -- the way it is set up is that the 4th slot is tap, and the top 3 are touch. This was done to increase sensitivity. Before when they were all touch activated, there was some annoying unresponsiveness. And thanks for the "notifications bug"... we'll look into that one. Oh, and yes it will be choose 3 heroes to take with you into battle. Its going to be REALLY cool to customize your "party" from the choices we're going to have!
Self defense needs an upgrade. It is very underpowered compared to using Beetle and isn't very helpful. With L5 self defense, if I run up to a large crowd and attack, I'll damage one and knock back three. If I swing with Beetle's big Stick, I'll damage and knock back all the bugs. Plus, from what I've heard, it doesn't even damage those bugs. A complete waste of upgrades compared to Assassinate, speed, or even health.
aggghhhh grrrrrrrr..... I just got on kitchen hard to round 23 and 39.9K points. I press "post" and it crashes. uggggh. would have been good for 18th on the leaderboard. aaaggggh.
Glad you're enjoying the game! Of course its underpowered compared to Beetle, haha... one skill is not meant to suddenly make Spider superior to Beetle at his job, while still allowing her to excel at her own role. Can you imagine how cheat Spider would be if self defense was buffed + assassinate + her already high damage? There would be no point in ever being Beetle... I also gotta disagree that its not useful... sure, its not a staple ability that will single handedly win you a game (either will regen or static discharge for that matter), but its a great bonus skill that will help Spider manage her natural weakness (lots of fleas and ants), and even disorient larger bugs (hard enough knock back forces them up to 360 degree rotations... and lots of bigger bugs have slow turn speeds), so you can keep them from really even ever attacking. It has HUGE AOE and can knock enemies half way across the map at lvl 5... I often upgrade this skill before assassinate to be honest...
Sigh... any chance you can send us your crash logs to [email protected]? We definitely have not heard of anything like this ever happening before...
Wondering? Do the friendlies appear at certain spots? I have trouble finding them after level#8 (always) I hear them but I can't find them, & is there a time limit for freeing them?
They have set spots. When (if) the map for yard is completed, I'll add freindly spawn locations in addition to food/coin spawn points. Eventually, if you don't free them fast enough, they will respawn in new points, but freeing them won't slow that down.
For which character? For Ant, speed and health. For Spider, assassinate and speed, and I'm still working out my strategy for Beetle.
Definitely free the friendly soldiers when you can, and use them to your advantage, especially the gunner teams! They have incredible range and pack a punch. A group of regular soldiers will also do a nice amount of damage. Also on this map because your base can be attacked from 360 degrees, movement is much more important, and its harder to setup traps. Because of this, Teleport or Ant hole is a must imo, and leveling up speed for Ant and Spider are also 1st on my list. Night Hunter is also a great ability for helping to travel faster.
A couple glitches to point out: Here, I teleported onto a Giant Spider and got bounced into the microwave. Also, is that the new icon?
