I think it's time I pick this up. Too many positive comments, impressions, reviews, and dedication from the Devs to justify getting it. I do love the overall look and gameplay. I'm also very excited to see additional content planned down the line as well. I see the survival guide and have read most of it. I guess the only question is does anyone recommend utilizing/upgrading all heroes(and turrets)? Anything I shouldn't do as well? Thanks ahead of time.
Heh, you couldve just saved your game and picked it up later But generally yeah, this is actually why we chose to have games last on average around 30-60 minutes... any game can get to a point where you are simply playing for TOO long... although once you get to that point imo you should move on to the next difficulty for more of a challenge... @ Godson -- Definitely let us know what you think once you pick it up! As for your heroes, it seems lots of different people prefer different strategies... I prefer keeping all my heroes as even as possible and upgrading my turrets to a high level early, but I've seen some higher level players swear that its best to focus on just one hero... I think one of the cool parts about Bug Heroes is that if you have the skill, you can succeed in many different ways! Also K, definitely an awesome job on the strat guide Some really cool info in there... p.s. the people have spoken... we've buffed the damage of firecracker turrets. Lvl 2 FC turrets will now be able to one shot fleas
I just want to congrat the devs again because I'm having so much fun with this game... It's "bugawesome"!!!
Look forward to a new FC. It was midnight already, I was almost lying in my bed when I got to that high level, and asking what the game would become. I just forgot to save the game. It lasted about 1h33min to reach level 49. Too long, but fun for sure. I will try standard playroom using the same strategics. But it won't be the same, coz I don't remember all of the techniques.
Thanks for the fast reply, staying balanced is my style preference to get the full experience out of games so that is what I will try an hone. I will be posting my impressions and review on iTunes as soon as I gain enough comfort from playing. Again thank you for the info, it all looks very promising.
Actually, I found a post where Foursaken Media gave a description of every turret, and added that to the guide. The Magnifier hadn't even been announced yet. I haven't posted my own descriptions of the turrets but I will soon. I've been doing maintenance work and clean up for the past hour or so. Also, to anyone who cares: The Bug Heroes Survival Guide is bordering on 30,000 characters and 4000 words! That's like 15 pages in microsoft word.
Great game I just made an account to comment on this game. Just wanted to say thanks a bunch to the developers. This game has kept me hooked for a while now. I just hit level 48 on Office normal difficulty! Thanks again and can't wait for new updates.
Thanks, feedback like this (well -- and everyone who has been so great about giving their opinions ) definitely means a lot to us And we can't wait to announce specifics on the future updates we have planned!
Yes thank you for making the game. I think it's very creative and so fun to play. Maybe in new update you can add a new hero, that would be really great!
Once we roll out this next big update (gamecenter, universal support, new equipment for current heroes, bug fixes, balance fixes, etc), we'll announce some teaser info of what to expect in the future
@Foursaken_Media Any chance there could be a quest that DOESN'T USE the set coin/food spawn points? Like having it where the items could literally spawn at any reachable point on the ground (obviously inaccessible or completely blocked from view areas should be ruled out) so it isn't just a matter of running between the known spawn points?
Hint hint LordGek, if you try to complete a quest on a level where you don't know where the spawn points are, you'll find it nearly impossible. I failed all my quests on kitchen and office till I memorized the spawn points.
Well, scroll quests, assassinate quests, creep quests, etc all use a completely different location method These don't use ordinary spawns like food and coins. And hehe, this is kind of why releasing certain info isn't always a good thing... I'm sure the majority of people wouldn't even know that they shared the same spawn points if nothing was ever mentioned. There are literally about 30 spawn points for food and coins per level (spawning only a few items at once), so there is still quite a bit of randomness. The same way that even though enemies have "set spawn locations", there are about 40-60 of those spawning only a few enemies at once, making it -- for all practical purposes -- totally random. Also the quests in general and food collection -- while random -- are still designed to force you to get away from your base and go explore/look around. We feel that having a huge amount of spawn locations spread across areas that we feel are "away from your base" is a good mix.
Doesn't that make it a great reason to release information? Don't you want everyone to have the same information?
