Thank you for bringing this awesome game. NY Zombies is one of my fav, so this game is a no brainer for me. Just a couple of thoughts: - Ok I just read the game is going to be Universal. Yay! This game should be universal. If your plan is to bring future paid content, you should know the IAPs dont share between iphone app and ipad app. If you want to make some more money, put the actual $2 as introductory sale and raise it with the update to universal version. It's your best choice. - I really dont like bugs, and so a lot of people. The chosen theme may lower the expected sales. My sugestion is, at least, changing the game icon because it's too dark and not very atractive. That icon doesnt make people buy your app; change it. - The game is only in english, you should translate the game to other languages to raise the sales. I can help you with that, with a spanish translation. My english grammar and vocabulary it's very poor, but I can make perfect translation from english to spanish. Of course, my help is absolutely free Just PM me if you are interested! - I know it's almost impossible to implement, but this kind of gameplay could be awesome in a multiplayer PVP match. Other kind of sugestion are already made, so I'm not going to repeat them.
Some feedback: When you trigger a message box by completing an achievement or when offered a quest, resuming the game throws you straight back into the battle with your thumbs briefly off the screen, which can be disastrous in tight situations. A 3-second countdown after resuming would be nice. Btw, it seems like I misunderstood how the difficulty levels work, so I apologize for my previous blind criticism.
@Makheer Why'd you put parts of your message in white? There's a good chance nobody will see it. @Foursaken If you do need to translate it (which is a very good idea btw) I'd be able to do a free Dutch translation too. PVP probably wouldn't work out, but co-op would!
Ok I posted previously n tried the beetle again, this time focusing just on beetle I max out it's armor, stun n gave it the shield n gauntlet It's a freaking tank, lol I placed 2 maxed out MG which kills bumblebee n scorpions just nice Added in a max out zapper to stun centipedes Managed to add in a max out firecracker for additional crowd control Tried tis arrangement on kitchen Got pass level 20 using this At one point I had 3 giant spiders out there (nothing I can do since beetle is too slow to venture out) but the thing tat killed me were the grub launchers, I was besieged by bumblebees n a horde of armor ants so I couldn't get to the grub launchers Once again awesome game!
what? anyways, what are your guys turett combinations, and how often do you guys upgrade them? also what powerups do you guys use in adventure for all the different characters? i like balancing all of my guys, and i have everything unlocked, so i need recomendations. for ant i like life support, porta turrets, and better base defense for beetle, i like upgrading his stick, earthquake jump, stampede, and the one powerup that does a ton of damage to one guy(names escaping me right now) and for spider i like poison cloud, web snair(or something like that, the spider web one), and superior assasin
and yea i agree with what somebody else said about the icon. i don't really like it because its too dark to stand out. i would much prefer and brigther icon with all three of the characters in it
I think the cartoon like icon if fine, but if some one finds it a bit dark, I think we do something like 3 bugs raising a flag or something... Newbie questions: Which would you prefer: buying towers or upgrading your heroes equipment? Do you take all the missions? What does the assassinate skill do? The game gets a little too tough after wave 6 and the hit-circle is a bit too big I suppose.
1. I try to upgrade towers just enough to let me explore or complete missions if I have to. 2. Definitely dont take all the missions only those you know you can complete because if you fail they have penalties 3.The assassinate skill is a chance for critical hit which does lots of damage. The more you upgrade it the higher chances you have for a critical hit.
One suggestion: is it possible to add an option to turn off the dialogs in the level I have already covered?
OK, I think I've just found my ideal combination. Three machine gun turrets at level four and one zapper at level five, Ant with Ant Hole, Life Support, Better base guns, and Teleporter. Beetle has Shockwaves, a Wrench, Shield, Squash 'Em and Adrenaline. I Maxed out his armor, and am working on his Stun and Regeration. Spider has Assassin bomb, Four swords, executioner and Maxed out health and Assassinate. I have easily passed level 20 using this combination and would recommend it to anyone stuck.
I think turrets are a must in this one. Constant moving around for food requires something to watch your treasure. Upgrading equipment also helps survival. This is what I find after 5 hours of play. Hope this helps.
Just trial-and-error... Since turret upgrades are less expensive than equipment, I would try turrets first, they also "spot" farther away then your heroes do...
Yeah I would definitely get a few turrets up in the first wave or 2. This way you can not only defend your stash, but also fall back if things get tough. @ redribbon -- do you usually die from your heroes getting creamed, or do you lose from getting your stash eaten?
Foursaken, I saw that you repied to a few posts just above mine, but just to put it out there; you had two people offer to do free translations in to Spanish and Dutch a few pages back. Which could lead to more sales, profit, updates, new heroes, heh. Awesome game, by the way. I diggit.
Ah yes thanks... had to go back like 3 pages, forgot about those Definitely appreciate those offering to help us out, and we'll get back to you via PM if/when we decide to take you guys up on your offer Thanks again to everyone with their awesome feedback, support, suggestions, etc... it does mean lot to us! Also want to apologize in advance for any posts i forget to respond to or just happen to miss.
Is it possible that you put out the data for all upgrades, like example cooldown, range, damage increase etc etc for everything? And if possible, data for all enemies too. That would be reallllyyy hellpfulll.
I only just bought the game and played one round of each mode but wow, it is excellent! I am seriously impressed...this is certainly one of the very best games of the month! Forsaken_Media, you certainly have a way of making me enjoy genres I thought I hated...never thought I'd like a shooting gallery game so much as I did with N.Y. Zombies, and I have simply never played castle defense that I liked until this one! So...any plays to make a great line-drawing game in the future?
