Just got the game a week ago so I'm no where near the level of you pros but I just reached 37 on Kitchen Normal (while at work so I'm sure that assisted with my demise lol) with Wasp, Stick, and Termite. I have no damn clue how you guys are getting to the levels you're reaching on hard. I know in time it will come but god damn you guys are good. I know one problem I have is the fact that I didn't unlock all the turrets. In the previously mentioned game I had 3 zappers and a shroom. I've gotta unlock the others ASAP and try out different combos. I haven't had this much fun in an iOS game in a very long time.
I'll have to give that a shot too. I need to get out of my turret rut. I almost always go for MG, zapper, mushroom, laser. It seems to work pretty well for me. One thing that will be really hard to go without is the mushroom turret. I like taking a more active role in defending the base... and when the base isn't being attacked, it's handy for quests. I got to 9th place on garden on my last game, and noticed a strange thing. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places are all the same. Same person, same level, same exact score, same three heroes.
When I tried using ant as a replacement for fly, I got to a higher round with fly on the team. Also, I have a question: Should I start using magnifiers for my turret setup?
depends on the map. I say just follow your gut. Ant is just one option. But if you wanna use him, I'd suggest using Howitzer, Life Support, Better Base Defenses (especially good combined with Termite's Spark Plugs), Teleport n Ant Hole. Use him to complete quests; that's what he's best at.
Ok so I'm pissed. On my iPhone 4 as of late the game has been going through a brief freeze. So I deleted the app and reistalled it only to see that all the levels and turrets I've unlocked have to be done over again. Now the question is this: Is there anyway I can restore the day through a back up of my iPhone? I backed it up like 2 days ago so I'd rather eat the loss of two days of work instead of the whole shabang. I did the restore option in game and it re-downloaded all the IAP stuff. Starting over from stratch.....ughhhh!!!!!
yes, restoring your iPhone from a backup would get your progress back. of course, you could also buy treasure trove if you want to just instantly unlock everything. and btw, the reason you lost all your progress is because of how Apple designed things, not anything Foursaken did.

Loving the game and just registered to chat about it. Reckon I'm doing OK, have some top 10s on the leader boards and doing much better since reading on here and focussing more on the bug abilities and not so much on the base guns... Did want to make a couple of suggestions though, not so much on game balance, think Oxy has that covered off... Just a couple of simple annoyances that I don't reckon should be there. The first has been mentioned before, but I wasn't sure about the solution suggested. That is something to prevent you failing food hoarder or a "use one bug" mission. I forget so often and needlessly throw it away. All it needs is a box popping up as you change/eat saying "this will cause you to fail, do you want to proceed?" would have saved a LOT of frustration. The second thing is similar. A lot of times I reach for the button to select bugs and as I do a mission pops up and I press "decline" before I even see it. A second's delay before being able to select decline would be really useful. Anyway, keep the chat going guys, not sure how I'm going to advance up the leaderboards, but I'm going to try!
Brought that up once. They decided against that for a few reasons which I disagree with; I think they should aim for minimal frustration when possible.
