That is disregarding the crit chance provided by the upgraded weapon, right? I think my problem is that most heroes' weapon upgrades have an effect in addition to damage, like increased crit, stun, range, knockback...etc. What does Termite's upgrade provide instead? This is especially because Termite is slow and weak, since like you said, it reduces the significance of DPS, and hence an added effect would make the weapon upgrade more desirable. An increased range or pushback would be nice. Or maybe if you can provide massive buffs to turrets if you keep drilling them. That would be hilarious.
Is the update out yet? I think I'm getting better with Ladybug on Hard. Just upgrade his needle once and he can dish out so much damage and fend off little bugs easily too. Good Luck works great too.
I bet you that won't be enough. Anyway, here are a few problems that need fixing: -When you use Earthquake and immediately switch to another hero, your view range shrinks greatly, and you need to switch to a hero with a good view range or use an ability to fix it. -Pop-ups interrupt Autocannon, and loses its momentum. -In rare cases, Mushrooms stop working. You have to quit the game and then resume. -When you quit the game with Mushrooms on the map, they all shrink to their starting point. Also: -I wish that you wouldn't swallow and waste multiple mushrooms by accident, especially when they spawn on top of each other. Sometimes using Ant Hole teleports you directly on top of one. -I think Attic quest times need extending. I rarely ever complete long quests on that map. Not only is it large with the base exposed from all directions, but the enemies in it are fast and vicious, making it very hard to explore. It makes it much harder than even Yard. The difficulty is refreshing, but I'd like to complete a quest every now and then.
Interesting call on Scoundrel. I always figured that "tiny stun just to get more damage" was the entire purpose of the skill. Gonna be a bit sad to see that go, but as long as you aren't increasing the cooldown on Spinning Shot, I doubt it's enough to dramatically impact how I play Fly.
Kitchen: Round 98 Office: Round 108 (Beep) Playroom: Round 130 Yard: Round 83 Pond: Round 107 Garden: Round 112 Restaurant: Round 107 Attic: Round 115 A thought just occurred to me. You know what Ladybug could use? An equippable weapon to make up for some of her shortcomings. About half of the heroes now have some kind of weapon to increase their effectiveness in certain situations that are not their specialty. While Ladybug is pretty good at what she does, her flaw -- in my opinion -- is her serious lack of versatility in combat. Spider and Beetle were perfect at what they do, and hardly anyone complained about their effectiveness in combat, yet they got ranged weapons to compensate for some minor shortcomings, so I'm not sure why it would be a bad idea to give Ladybug something like that. Here's a thought: AOE attacks with minimal knockback/stun, focusing on killing groups of bugs rather than tanking them. That would be unique, and suitable for a junior tank rather than a specialized tank like Beetle.
Things have gotten quieter over the weekend. That will change with an update coming up soon anyway. I havent been able to make a splash in the top 30 high score with a Ladybug in my team.
Not sure if it was shown but here's a teaser of the new Living Room level on Foursaken Media's fb page:
I saw the update from the facebook too. The map comes with a charger turret huh? I cant think of any good use for it? hmm
It may be of some use depending on how much it buffs your turrets. The downside is that you'd be sacrificing a slot though... I think it would be pretty nice if it also affected Ant and Termites Turrets. That would be pretty sweet.
Does anyone use Lookout turrets? They seem like a complete waste... And please contribute to The Bug Heroes wiki! It's almost completely empty...
If you use Termite, then Scouter Turrets can be useful. It doesn't boost Termite's turret range, but with Termite, you can afford to use a slot for it. I've only found it helpful in Attic, because it's so damn hard to explore there. Plus, it not only points you to food and quest objects, but also chests. What I would like though, is if Scouter Turrets boosted Termite's turrets as well, even if mildly. Also, I wish Satellite would work when activated even when you switch away from Termite. Better Base Guns works without Ant, so why not Satellite? I've started writing my guide, or whatever you want to call it. I've finished Ant. I'll post it when I'm done with the whole thing, unless someone suggests otherwise.
It works really well with a magnifying glass and zapper combo. The extra time it has to burn through bigger bugs can be a life saver (unless it is dark and then you are in trouble!)
Tried it a few times, wasn't quite worth the extra turret slot; would rather have the food cultivator or so drying with damage. if it worked like ants goggles by gradually zooming out while you upgrade it...I would use it very often. I got all the pics up on the insectopedia, now I just need to fill in the rest of the descriptions and add asterisks to user advice as well as some advice of my own. I'll also add pics of the heroes on your hero pages as soon as I get a chance. I have a little more study time, then I'll get on some tonight, and hopefully finish it up by tomorrow.
Very interesting idea. Magnifying Glass's biggest shortage is its very poor range. You know, with all these support turrets, extra turret slots is sounding better and better.
A cat just slept on my mushrooms. >_< Whoa. I only just noticed that if you tilt the device, the view angle changes slightly.
Yeah that article I posted about Fungus Zombie Ants is very interesting. This parasitic fungus starts to control the ants mind and body over time. I agree! I would love even one extra turret slot just for support turrets. Whoa! Seriously?! I need to try that...
Yeah they could have you like buy an extra turret slot, so it could be like $1000 in-game or something like that.
Yeah, it definitely works really well during daylight hours. I agree an extra slot (or 2) for some extra firepower will definitely be useful. LECROLUX'S TOP TIP: Don't bother mixing lazers with scout towers. Lazers already have unlimited range and I wasted my money on that
