My new view on the heroes: Beetle: 10/10 Spider: 10/10 Fly: 10/10 Stick: 10/10 Ant: 9/10 Termite: 8/10 (Because he is pretty much dependant on Fly) Worm: 8/10 Ladybug: 6/10 Grasshopper: 6/10 Question for Foursaken Media: Am I allowed to keep swapping between two staffs with Stick to consistently shoot, or is this considered an exploit? It doesn't seem particularly overpowered, since it does require some skill to be able to do it, and you would have to spend 2000 on two different staffs.
I made it to Round 25 on Normal Restaurant!!!! I used Fly, Termite and Stickbug... oh man it was awesome!!!
I keep forgetting that some of the hero's have escape equipment ( often i get cornered or overwhelmed/surrounded & end up dying and because i'm in a bad situation my other 2 hero's bite the bullet.
Yeah, I know. I would do this all the time (especially with those annoying Hungry Bugs ) Now I almost always use Stickbug now so the first thing I buy for him is Phase Shift. Helps me when there's a couple Hungry Bugs about to corner me. Also, Fly's Money Shot comes in handy, when it's only one Hungry Bug approaching and I have extra cash, I just switch to Fly and shoot them with Money Shot.
Woar, what a hardcore guy you are. I noticed your name in almost every high score. #1 too. Good job, really. Im impressed. THis game is seriously addictive. I'm considering erasing the game so that I can focus on college. -_- This is all your fault, foursakenmedia!
You're right ninjackid. A good money shot is always helpful. >_< Good thing my semester is over, J2o, I can finally catch up on all of the games I deprived myself of. Your semester almost over? I must kind of agree with most others about not really finding a great use for Ladybug.. Hm. Well all of the others have been great.
I'm not much of a Money Shot user, but I do think it's great. I only use it once I've pretty much upgraded everything I need. Otherwise I just stick with Pick Pocket, Spinning Shot, Scoundrel and Gnat Bandits, and get money like crazy. EDIT: Possibly my most impressive achievement: Round 53 on Playroom
Alright, I have had some success with ladybug+worm+support hero. Ladybug isn't isn't strong as the other heroes, and definitely needs a buff, but isn't as weak as ladybug. If you get her with maxed armor+maxed health+fencing mask, she's almost as strong as Beetle. Her armored shell doesn't make up for his regeneration abilities, and she has no knockback, but it's close. Ladybug is the only hero capable of tanking besides Beetle, and not needing his AOE's as I was using worm, I thought Ladybug was better. Then we look at her compared to Spider. Here, she does her job a bit less admirably, but it's more than acceptable. With a maxed out Fencing needle, she does close to the same amount of damage and has a bit more range. I can easily hit fleas without taking damage; what used to take 100,000 XP points worth of skill is now cake. As you can upgrade Ladybug's speed, she becomes the third fastest hero and can get critical hits with lucky shot (incorrect name?) Finally, she has better abilities than Beetle and Spider. Parry is incredibly useful, and with the shortest cooldown of any ability, is always ready for use. Proper use of this means that you can quickly stun powerful melee attackers. 7 stabs is reasonably useful for clearing out crowds, and impale is the perfect weapon against Queen Ants, Bumblebees, and Spiders. Just fire it and run away, it does more damage than Smash 'Em and has a faster recharge than Assassin Bomb. More to come.
Disagree. Assassin Cut and Assassin Bomb do provide monstrous power, but they are hard to use in most situations. I find that most of ladybug's abilities suck (her 25,000 XP ability- increased speed and armor- what?) but her best slightly outshine that of Beetle and Spider.
Assassin Cut, I agree, but Assassin Bomb is really easy to use against still targets like Queens and Giant Spiders (especially if they're right next to each other. I love occasionally taking out two Spiders with one bomb). In fact, Assassin Bomb's superior range makes it easier to target these. But yeah, it can be difficult to use against moving targets, but I remedy that with Ninja Smoke and maybe Superior Assassin in tighter situations.
Are you kidding me? That ability is very powerful... you do know it gives ALL heroes speed and near immunity to damage, right? Again, it depends on how you use it (and which hero you choose to mostly take advantage of the buff), but it can be VERY powerful when used in a pinch. Anyway, I am glad you are having some success with Ladybug though... I always found her to be quite good, personally. And ps... a sneak peak of Mantis (no, he is not all black in-game )
Scoundrel + Spinning Shot is Fly's bread and butter. Unbelievable pair of skills. When both are equipped, Spinning Shot provides group stun and knockback along with double damage (more if you manage to knock bugs off ledges), all on an incredibly short cooldown. Meanwhile, activating Scoundrel gives you a much more focused and sustained double damage buff while also giving you the ability to just lock down bugs for huge lengths of time. Throw in Money Shot, Roulette, and/or Gamble, and I don't think there's anything Spider does that Fly can't do better. Other than Ninja Smoke. And I suppose Spider is better against multiple stationary bugs (like if two Giant Spiders spawn next to each other).
I disagree with that last part. Spider has some excellent abilities that Fly can't replace, and he takes down individual targets much more quickly. But I do agree, Fly is the better hero. I have a strong feeling he's gonna get nerfed.
I made it to round 25 in Normal Kitchen using Ant, Worm and termite. Man it was fun!!! Just had burrow mines and Termites turrets everywhere... Yeah it was fun...
