We're up to 30,000+ votes when I checked this morning... we're offering ways to earn bonus votes every day or 2 through either FB or Twitter so we hope we can attain our goal in a few weeks.

In the meantime we still have free new content coming soon. The next update will include a new Living Room level, a new turret, and some new enemies specific to Living Room.

No! don't ditch Beetle! He definitely is one of the strongest and most powerful heroes and is still one of my favorites. I normally buy Shield (optional, but it does add quite a bit to Beetle's armor), then I upgrade his main weapon to Wrench (a MUST for greater knockback power), then I buy Colossus, Adrenaline and Boomsticks.

Other powerful abilities are Smash 'Em and Earthquake jump, but I normally buy them when I'm in trouble. (Smash 'Em for big bugs like Centipedes, Earthquake Jump for huge hordes of bugs.)

I'm no pro or anything, but I hope those tips help :D

Does "sharing" your posts on FB provide only 1 bonus vote or more? I need to know if its worth the embarrassment of posting! LOL

    Haha :D

Only certain posts will directly get extra votes for Sharing... for ex the one post that has bonus votes based on impressions will get an extra vote for each person that looks at the post... so if you "Share" that post then you should get quite a few extra votes. Just as an example that post has 11,000+ bonus votes from people Sharing it so far.

Awesome news about the new level! I'm rather psyched. I've been plowing through each of the new characters.

The only thing I wish I could see would be the exact armor pieces I'm gaining when I earn them. Perhaps under awards or something, a list of armor that has been unlocked and what needs to be done to unlock the next pieces.

May I add to the subject of the "armor pieces" that they're probably my least favorite aspect of the game? (there's not many aspects i dont like trust me)

I mean theyre almost exactly the same for each character, and theyre so uncreative and boring. I would love to be able to customize the look of my heroes during the loadout stage, but if youre not going to go that far at least just make the unlockable pieces a little more visually appealing...

Yeah, I know what you mean. But if they are going to be there as they currently are, I would like some method to be able to examine them more closely and see what I have earned/am earning. Kind of how we can examine the enemy insects in the insectopedia, I would like to be able to zoom in on the hero insects and see the armor pieces I have earned.

Another thing... Shouldn't we be able to shoot over the plates in the restaurant, also? I understand completely that we shouldn't be able to walk on them.. But I would imagine that a bullet would be able to make it over a plate.. Hm.

And really, dude? Thanks for the spam. Paintedman, you've contributed so much to this topic. I think you should be made a mod.

A question to anyone that uses grasshopper, worm & stick bug regularly what do you usually apply your skill points to?

Yeh sure, will add termite and fly as well :)

Hopper: Lot in faith first then parry.
Wizard: Couple in focus then go for Mana to get most out of spells.
Worm: 3 points in Take Aim then do regen about 3, leave boom shot last.
Termite: Max workmanship then move onto optics.
Fly: 4 in speed then onto theft.

    Yeah sure, glad to help:

Grasshopper: Normally I max out Faith, then I move onto Brawler.
Worm: I used to max out Demolition first, but now I've been doing a few Regeneration points first.
Stick Bug: Max out Focus, then Mana.

    :D

Actually I think Adventure Co-op would be better. Now that would be the bomb :D

Yep, if there was wi-fi local co-op I'd be a happy camper.

Hi, new to here and been playing bug heroes for almost a week. I'm trying to read this whole thread starting from page 200 and over. Reading most of them throughly just to find decent tips on tactics but there is just so much information. However, I was able to pick up some good tips.

Just wondering, will anyone make a guide on this game or is there one already?

Also, is it worth it to fully upgrade the fly's theft skill first?
