I'm pretty sure your question has been ignored the 8 times or whatever it is you keep asking it because it should be self explanatory, but since you seem unwilling to believe your own eyes, let me help you: No, the non-flying Ladybug you see when you play the game is indeed not flying .
LOL....damn well now I think the "ladybird" sucks! hahah but seriously...i find the spider to be oodles better than the ladybird, just overall man. i have a hard time replacing spider with ladybug
@ channum I'm not sure if you're pmsing or what but lately all of your post have been negative sarcastic and rude. That attitude discourages new posters and new players. In regards to the praying mantis since the only way to unlock him is the contest does that mean after you guys reach 500000 votes there will be a small window where we can download him or will someone who downloads the game 2 years from now have him also? Please anyone but channum answer
Since I think there must have been a secret way to make it so! As it ain't, the label "death from above" does not fit very well then....you know, drop onto a foe from behind and z! Sometime, I find ladybird is better than spider when beetle is not around, but spider is way cooler when it is dark....
I think they made it pretty clear that it will be free for everyone forever. There's no practical way to restrict it to only those who voted.
That's the more common term for this family of beetles, in most of the English-speaking world. The name "ladybird" originated in Britain where the insects became known as "Our Lady's bird" or the "Lady beetle".
What's the best combo of home turrets? Also, is this team good?: Worm, Spider, Beetle What is your normal team?
Has ANYONE found a niche spot for wizard?? I really am having a hard time incorporating the stickbug wizard into ANY team, whenever hes there i hardly use him except maybe for a spell or 2 every now and then... and whats a good strategy for the bandit fly? how does he fit into your teams? worm, ladybug, and hopper i have down pat in this early stage, but stickbug and fly im not sure how to insert into team (stickbug alot more difficulty than fly) and i just dont like the termite, building towers mid game is not what i want to be doing
Incremental Hero revive costs? I think currently the hero revival prices are good, but not forgiving enough. I think that the price of revival should increase incrementally but start out at a much cheaper price. Most of the time we die beause of making some stupid mistake like tapping at a wrong area or if we exit the hero selection screen by accident (happens way too often, actually). It really sucks to die because of stupid silly mistakes and I am pretty sure it happens to everybody.
Got 3rd place on Garden Hard MAN garden is a freaking HARD level...giant spiders start early, catepillars at like lvl 13...i basically didnt upgrade my towers at all, in retrospect maybe i shouldnt have even BOUGHT towers! between the recluses, armor ants, medics, necromancers, massive amounts of hammer-wielding ants, and pincer bug LORDS it was all hero power doing the work...even the dozens of little maggots going towards the food! man, super hard level.
or at least some data about what dmg is dealt by turrets and for example what is the difference between light and medium damage for abilities etc.
I have been experimenting with the bandit fly and termite. The strategy revolves around food. Fully upgrade the food stash, then get barter for the bandit fly. After that, any excess food should be bartered off. Ensure constant supply of food by building food cultivator turrets (base turrets and termite ability). Theoretically this should be getting you lots of money, and the since many people end up with excess money in the later stages of the game, you can also burn the cash by building termite turrets and using fly's abilities, ensuring continued importance of cash. Maybe much more viable in the restaurant level where all the food you hold is going to get stolen by the gnats, so you might as well just use them. Stickbug is quite awesome for lightning storm and protection ward (the one that heals and gives bonus armor?). My fly died and I only had grasshopper and stickbug left. Survived for way longer than I expected with him with the relatively short cooldowns of the above abilities. I even think that I used it more than grasshopper in that game. I imagine it only gets better if I had bought asteroid field as well.
While I've yet to explore his abilities enough to know their optimal use, I use his speed and combat style for three primary functions: 1) Explore the map/fetch food/complete quest objectives. I'm not sure, but I think he is the fastest hero in the game. 2) As a time-demanding but very safe way to bring down baddies, since his speed, mobility and small size/hitbox allows him to outdodge almost anything. 3) Fun. I really enjoy the combination of his litheness and agility, and his inexact and range-wise limited but very convenient and still ranged attacks.
