You got this game for free and got bored for 30 minutes. Thats ok , its your opinion. But why destroy the developers game rating and give him a 3 . Even games that I dont perticularly like that I get for free I
    1) Dont rate it or
    2) Give it 5 stars because I apperciate being able to get the game for free.

Wait. If his opinion is okay, why is it not okay to express that opinion in the review section?

The game is stunning in it's creativity.

Thanks to the designers - and thanks to those who published strategy tips.

Thought to add a +1 to those who call for a stickbug invisibility or portal/teleport ability.

+1 to those who note how difficult it is to aim with stick.

I like that the new release makes for a mix of turrets rather than the four maxed MGs.

I imagine that termite could build barriers that would help create choke-points. Of course, larger bugs or enough small bugs might destroy the barriers.

Just a thought to add a strategic dimension.

I do wish that the story was realized in the game play. Meaning, that one area led to another... And that one could actually vanquish the scorpions. Maybe only Oxynidus could do it... But it would be a nice goal.

It's a wonderful game. Thanks for making it.

Yeah, with only 2659 posts in this thread, what's the odds that five of them would all come from new users?? I smell a rat.

All I can say is learn to play. I can make it to level 40+ with almost no effort using many combinations of heroes skills and turrets, and I have done so on every single map. The newer maps seem more challenging due to the newer enemy types. Just takes practice and good planning. Sometimes you can get lucky with easier quests.

My most used is the Fly but my favorite is most definitely the Grasshopper monk. Honestly I would buy all 3 even for the new maps and enemies alone. Restaurant and Attic are the more interesting maps, though.

You can't really go wrong... I'm loving all of the new stuff. For me, fly and worm are the funnest new characters, and garden is the funnest map. I don't know which characters come with which map, though I'd guess that the earthworm comes with the garden. If so, that seems like a good one to start with. Grasshopper's pretty fun too, so if he comes with the garden map that would be another point in favor of that choice IMO.

    IMHO, every single gorram one...

But(!) for starter, I prefer "Death from Above" since I love the ant and spider where fly and ladybird (can it fly?!) play with some fun differences.

love the lantern carrying fly that comes at night time. The sounds are great. This is the best hybrid of genres I have seen. Going ninja assassin with a damn spider on this ant in armor is just off the hook. The beetle guy has a big ass stick for wacking people. The graphics are terrific. The party system is excellent. The leveling up system is excellent. Haven't touched on skills yet, but I have pretty high thoughts about how those will be too. Can't wait to unlock the other maps also.

I love this game and the devs for being such a great voice on these forums but the reason fo rreviews on itunes is to get everybodies reviews and give people the choice after reading them. As much as we love FM its only right for him to be able to post his review as he see's it..

As wrong as he was for doing it!!!!!;)

Nice. Thing with Coliseum is that towards the end you end up with a lot of money, with which you could afford turrets.

Just FYI, I got to round 25 with Fly before doing that Beetle exploit. :p

I had trouble submitting my score yesterday. I had a score of Almost 58.000 points,18 quests completed on the pond map(normal) & After I tried to submit my score the game crashed. On a side note I underestimated the centipede, I leveled up my food storage 4 times & had full food. And had full health for ant, ladybug & termite. Made a BIG mistake instead of killing the centipede first & finishing a quest second(creep killer) I went for the quest first, when I'd finished the quest the caterpillar was at my base & I'm sure you know the rest.I love this game!

The other guys already mentioned how Termite is very expensive and because of this if you want to keep placing turrets down, you end up with no money left for anything else so I would like to make a suggestion. Don't get me wrong though I like this hero a lot and his food cultivator ability is amazing. :)

    Option 1:

Raise initial cost of buying turrets to 800-1200 depending on turret and from then on they are free to place down.

    Option 2:

Keep initial prices like they are now but adjust each cost for placement after to something like:

    Gun Turret - $50
    Bomber - $70
    Autocannon - $100
    Railgun - $150
