Dang! Can't go wrong with that! Just wanted to let you know, I have never ever spent a cent on IAP before, Bug Heroes is so awesome that I'm going to buy them all eventually!
Aw heck i went and bought all three. Only live once right? So when I get my 5th gen, all I gotta do is tap Restore using the same account?
insane, gona buy the iap. i just think that the people who originally bought the game should get a pro version or start with one iap.
Yeah, with the points capped per round after 25, quests are now MUCH more important and can really mean the difference between a really high score or a much lower one... on the flip side it is definitely a skill in its own right to only accept the quests you know you can handle... haha I always tend to accept most quests too and then get myself in a bad spot
If you paid $1.99 (or its local equivalent) for this game then it was because you wagered it was worth that much to you. If it went free 5 minutes later, you are still owed nothing because you already agreed it was worth $1.99 by virtue of the fact you paid it without a gun to your head. The core game is easily a $4.99 title to begin with, so not really sure why anyone is complaining at having got it for less than half that. I paid full price for the core game, bought all 3 IAP, and if they had a "donate $1" IAP like Raptisoft does, I'd be doing that as well. This is a title that demonstrates the reality of *gaming* on iOS - yeah, the zippers are showing in places, and there are rough spots with all the new content, but the fact that you can get everything there is for less than $5 on the outside is an amazing bargain. New full console games are $60-$70, PC games $40-$60, handhelds $20-$35, downloaded handheld games range from $2-$15 (and the $2 stuff is, if you're lucky, a themed alarm clock), and here is a game that challenges the design and depth of those $70 titles and you'll whine you didn't get $1 off the new content? You already got weeks to months of fun those newcomers getting the core game for free can never get, you got to support a small team of developers in expanding the core game many fold, you got a chance to sit there high on the leader boards because somehow this game hasn't exploded yet, but, no, the real problem facing us early adopters is that we didn't save $1 on $2.97 worth of expanded content Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go get another 30 minutes of entertainment out of that whole $2.97 as I take grasshopper into the coliseum for the first time
That has to be the most well thought out truth in regards to a situation just as this. Nobody could had stated it better.
1st place on hard with ~42k points.... (username: Carnage) Worm, Hopper, Ladybug....took me a few tries but im getting the hang of them! i dont know if ill ever truly prefer ladybug over the spider, spider just seems overall much more powerful/useful hopper is an awesome alternative to beetle, just have to REALLY examine his normal hits and specials to get a feel for EXACTLY how to approach situations with him worm is another AWESOME alternative to Ant....his EXPLOSIVE AMMO skill is phenomenal, you guys did SUCH a good job making that his most impressive skill, it really captures the "demolition" persona! having a great time so far....thanks so much foursaken, keep it coming
Agreed . Other than onemanleft , I can't think of another developer that does IAPs as well as these 2 .
Just wanted to quickly thank everyone for their support with the IAPs and helping to spread the word about this free campaign... we're currently at #35 games in the US, and in the top 25 free games for 27 other countries, including the #1 free iphone and ipad game in France Thanks again!! We've also been working all day on fixing bugs and crashes that have popped up, so those with issues shouldn't have to wait very long to get a fix. We've also started working on the next dose of new, free content (new level, new turret, new enemies).
