Universal Bug Heroes (by Foursaken Media)

Update is live and downloading for both my iTouch 4 and iPad 2. Looks like it's going to be a LoOoOoOoOg night in the Coliseum.

 

It is okay, updating the iPad copy now. Com'on the Wifi is dang slow here.

OT: for an "old" game like this, the growth rate of the thread here is surprisingly fast.

Great... I hope nothing is wrong... still getting a "item is no longer available" on a clean install... great way to kick off a free campaign :/

 

howre you getting it to DL for the itouch? it makes me click "purchase" then says its not available anymore...

It's slow here also :/ maybe it's caused by too many people updating

They said free for a "limited time". Even without IAP there's more than enough content here for standalone so I wouldn't consider it freemium (which to me suggests mandatory pay to play).

Anyone else planning on picking up every IAP? They are all definitely worth it to support this wonderful dev. I have no problem having paid for the game when it was released and paying for IAPs.

Foursaken media, this update is monumental and I know that it will introduce countless more hours of gameplay and we all thank you for this.

I can't help but wonder, though - what's after this?

 

Quick question. If I purchase a game pack through an IAP on my iPhone when I sync to my computer will I then get it on my iPad as well without having to repurchase the gamepack or new heroes????

 

If you use the same iTunes account it will be free even if you do have to re-download IAP.

 

Already picked all 3 up and am playing the new picnic coliseum level with worm. Loving it on the large screen.


What's next? Well FM said there was going to be a new free level as well as the create a hero contest. I'm hoping they package the winner hero along with Bruce Flea and Chuck Mantis who were named in the scrolls in-game. This update is Plenty to keep us alll occupied for a while so we'll see what awesome tricks they have up there sleeves for the future of Bug Heroes.

Same for all universal IAP, you need to re-"purchase" the DLC on the other device, but it would be free...
