Seriously, Jamie: Can you not tell us the next time you submit an update? I mean, look at how it's driving us crazy. Anyone agree? I'm too anxious about the game to study.
Well I now know it takes a solid week for a game to make it past apples crew. So next time I eagerly wait for a solid title Ill know the wait. I thought this was going to be a 1-3 day process but going on 8 whole days. I really really do hope this thing pops up tomorrow and not at 10pm either.
Say if Apple approves the update while the Fours4ken Media team is sleeping, do we have to wait for them to wake up and approve the update?
I just got an update to mission europia at 1100pm so I guess updates pop up whenever. That was cruel, I got so stoked for a sec. Grrr
Let's see... We'd have to wait for them to wake up, put on their clothes, find out where they are, Walk home, make coffee, boot up Windows ME, reposition the pringles can to catch the neighbors Wifi, and wait for iTunes to boot up. Even if it's approved this very instant, we'd still get it in about 12 hours.
...... And here we r day 8... Does it see the light of day for us outside apples offices?? Grrr... Have to wait 10 am here for it to be... At least 6-7 more hours a fulls day work, bah.. Actually BP update just landed her at 6am.. Might get lucky and sooner... All these false alarms killing me.
I guess since it's basically 3 stand alone games in a sense it's taking a long time to review. I'm telling you somebody's bullguarding the fun!!
Not really, it's pretty much how every review process goes, you're all just so hyped up that the posts regarding the update range from the sort of silly ("next time don't keep us updated!") to conspiratorial ("they're playing the game instead of greenlighting it") to just plain old bitching (e.g. the post I'm replying to). There is no fixed process to these reviews - sometimes things are in and out in couple of days, sometimes a week or more, sometimes they hang in limbo for more than a month. Take a breath, go do something else, and when they get around to ensuring there are no hidden nipples or loopholes that let FM make money where Apple doesn't get their cut, the update will be out. Just because the *average* review is *around* a week doesn't make the fact that it's Tuesday and we're not killing zombie roaches unusual, rather, quite the opposite.
I felt like I was a kid being scolded at toys r us when I wanted the NES with tiger heli and jackal back in the day, lol. Yeah we all know, bud, Everyones really looking forward to a very solid title to be played.
