I like it, but I would LOVE it if it has some vibrant colours. It's a little bland as is. :)

Wait so will this have similar gameplay to Dungeon Defenders? Or is it pretty much entirely different gameplay?

While some elements seem pretty similar on paper (action, RPG and defense elements), Bug Heroes imo feels completely different. For one its definitely easier to get into then DD, while still offering a lot of depth.

This is probably my favourite 'short-burst' (as in not long in the sense of an epic career, but a game you can keep on going back to) game on the app store. Dungeon Defenders seems terrible compared to this.

  12. Much cheaper than expected. Is that a launch sale price or permanent, out of curiosity?

This will likely be the permanent price.

The game will be submitted tonight! :D We'll keep everyone posted with updates on the review process and when it will hit the app store.

Differs greatly on how the game was developed. I think Airplay is free for indies making sub-$100k. That's basically a one-click process for major cross-platform distribution. We are entering into a great new decade full of fantastic cross-platform tools. Soon, the only issue will be hardware (and it's enough of an issue on this system already).

You're vastly underestimating how difficult cross-platform development is, especially game development where the responsiveness of the interface is so critical. Just developing for several different Android phones at once is already very tough. It's not the software tools that are the hard part.
