Do we need to keep spoilering? Spoiler Bumblebee. Likes to hit things really hard. miss his giant stick from the first game though, maybe I haven't upgraded to that point yet equipment wise... Stinkbug. What a weirdo. Splat guns, poison clouds, bullets, etc. I keep dying on Hard to see how well I can use him, but he's pretty unique from any other games I've played. He is kind of a strike then run unit. Ant Captain. This guy, riding on the snail... has a giant meat tenderizer for a weapon, which is pretty great. LOVE units that can summon other units and his calvary are fun when they attack. Love charging ahead with his abilities, planting a rally flag and then going at it. Nuances I'm still getting used to; the "cover" system..... It is really just moving behind stuff, isn't it, not so much a "push a button on an object and you'll hide behind it." That's what I kept thinking it was The CAMERA. I KNEW I would stick with behind-the-back and that is what I do, except when needing to be more precise with special abilities and aiming them. No bug, but my wife's iPad2 (testing on mine when it gets back from the repair shop tomorrow!) chugs on level 14 on Easy... and the finally shuts down. Had to reset the mission I was doing. Is there graphic options to reduce or are we seeing the extent of what it can support? It is VERY BUSY. BH1 definitely feels slower to me; BH2 gets busy as the levels keep going... not a bad thing, though!!!
2 more days and it will be relesed yyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Spoiler Yeah his passive animation and basic attacks are from the clockwork veteran (I don't mind at all) JCho: glass got update, you might need to open the app to get notifications again
Liche, it would be better if its iOS7 supported, its the thing I have installed. Also, been looking for that post with the links because I really thought it was for any iOS...
Spoiler That was Beetle. And he is still in, luckily The bumblebee enemy wielded a friggin' spiked mace (But perhaps that was what you meant, in which case, sorry ). I like his brawling. As I wrote in my hero review a few pages back, the animations are very kinetic, and his punches really seem to carry weight. The overhead cam is actually superior for some (or most, perhaps) hero duels, and some sticky situations, thanks to increased overall awareness and overview. But it is harder to use, and takes time to grow accustomed to (strangely so, since it is closest to the DSS cam from BH1).
It was actually a meat stick not a mace. And he means Beetle's alternative Bumblebee who carried a stick. Not the enemy who carried a meat stick.
Nah, that's very much a mace (looking at it as I type ), ball and spikes and all. But yeah, it might be constructed from a meat stick. They are creative, these bugs. And yes, Beetle's alt did wield a stick. Nice to see that some of the alternative heroes made it into BH2 as full characters, with their own schtick (in Bumble's case, definitively figuratively speaking ). On that note, I'll keep my hopes up for Mosquito and Wasp as future additions, this time around with their own mechanics (though it would be nice if they served vaguely similar roles as Fly and Widow).
I definitely think its a meat stick. A mace is too big for a bug. I hope they add mosquito as a sniper or something
Considering a regular-sized mace would be a few hundred times Bumble's volume, and thousands his mass, no, that I never suggested But a mace, nonetheless (a spherical head with protruding spikes, etc, much like Spider and Aphid actually have minitiature swords, and some of the the ranged bugs seems to actually be packing minitiature firearms), regardless of what it is built from. (Not that this is in any way important, but it is fun to discuss the physics and specifics behind this minitiature universe, and how these little bug-gers fight their wars.) A sniper Mosquito, yeah, that somehow feels thematical. And a truly long-ranged character would be a very fun way to mix up the mechanics. (Though I really would not mind a lifesteal-focused, self-healing hit and run melee Mosquito as well. A sneaky, dirty, squishier, non-support but much more self-healing-focused alternative to Aphid.)
Mind can't decide on camera view I like the behind the character as you can see across the whole map to see where enemies are. The overhead seems to let you see better in your immediate area but then you have no clue what's in the distance, luckily it's all easy to change but mainly I've been using behind the bugs angel. Wasted some diamonds on scrolls and completely forgot I can buy characters with them so that's today's mission : ) Also had a couple of bugs but they wanted them emailed didn't they? Nothing too bad though and it's probably just my device.
Report all bugs on [email protected] Hahah I know how you feel - I spent like 600 diamonds on scrolls so I got my first lvl3 scroll I don't know if I'd rather have legendary or not
Just looking for any tips from people playing earlier than me, I was ploughing through missions but now all 3 I have available I can't do : ( what do you do then? Obviously playing endless and skirmish but I'd like to do more missions.
That's happened to me several times, but it's ok they implemented a failsafe in the final version. I recommend playing hard endless because you'll get more diamonds that wag
