Loved those two long posts I still like getting to read about the game and it makes me think what I'd do when I get on the game . My question from all of this IAP talk though and it sounding like if rather play through the game without it as I'd like to earn them all myself. But how will the devs make cash?
That's the million dollar question. I guess we just hope people buy some to support the Dev or to get more heroes, as getting all of them takes considerable grinding. Especially getting a legendary hero, so I'm thinking of dropping some moola to buy a legendary
There will probably be people who will spend cash to buy those legendary heroes. I assume the more casual players.
Yeh usually if I really enjoy a game and the IAP ends up not being needed for me I'll buy a purchase just to support the game.
A good thing I have you to remind me Fixed. Fellas, please update quotes of my post accordingly That will probably be my preferred solution. But I'd really prefer to leave even legendaries locked away, something to strive for a year or more from now. (Unless the rate of hero content additions is high enough to outpace my diamond income.) Perhaps buying diamonds solely for scrolls, thought that would get old quickly enough. Knowing Foursaken, I would not be surprised if new maps and turrets were free as well, but if any content is added as IAP, I'd gladly put down money on that. Or I might just inject a hefty sum of dollars into Heroes & Castles, a splendid game that I have not given enough time (and probably will never, now that this kinda similar but so much more awesome game fills a similar spot and gaming interest), knowing that money will drop into the same hands, without affecting my sense of progression in BH2.
One last bit of criticism which slipped out of my critical list of criticism, above: Spoiler the lore. Perhaps this is something that will be added just before release, or post-release. But currently, there are no hero backstories, no little bits of dialogue or setting info to be found or read during play, and no overarching narrative. And, notably, no scorpions to be found among the list of enemies (unless the last ??? on my list is a massive scorpion general). Is the Scorpion Wars storyline out, Foursaken? (Perhaps wasting any breath on the setting and storyline seems like waste of said breath for many of you. But I found the metaphorical, miniature japanesque ninja-samurai-universe of BH1 to be very charming, and quite dramatic. I can understand, however, if Foursaken don't have much effort or time to spare on something that might be considered a fringe interest at best for many players. Bug Heroes fan fiction, anyone? ) In the spirit of narrative, something else I'd like to see, of Foursaken feel like adding even MORE enemies down the line, are named legendary enemies, boss-hero-style. Brutus the Scorpion General, etc. Perhaps simply buffed and slightly bigger variants of existing enemies, but with fancy-pants-y names. Would go some way towards making the setting feel even more vibrant and lively.
They were defeated in BH Quest As for diamonds for endless: I got over 50 (51?? ) diamonds for my high score which is near 10 000 points, I was using random heroes (sp you get +25% diamonds)
Bugs will be invading your food soon enough. I would like to win a code today, obviously, or tomorrow... but I keep refreshing the page throughout the day NO PATIENCE.
I'm about 44% back through Bug Heroes Quest... trying to really build up my bugs and the mass destruction they cause
