For me, it's always about figuring out the best combination of heroes, defenses and abilities. It's also important for me to have a movie or TV show to watch while playing. There are a few abilities that are essential for late-game survival. These include teleport/jump abilities, Termite's food cultivator, Termite's auto turret, Termite's sniper turret, and a few AOE abilities. Highly recommended abilities are: Spider's assassin bomb, Spider's web, and Worm's Nuke. This is why most of my successful games are with Spider (Wasp actually, because she flies and stuns), Worm and Termite. Sometimes I swap Spider/Wasp or Worm for Grasshopper in maps where AOE is more important, and where there are a lot of opportunities to knock little bugs off the edge (Grasshopper's specialty). As for turrets, you should have at least 2 Zapper turrets. 4 Zappers are ok, or 3 Zappers and a scouter or forcefield or a magnifier. Sorry for hijacking the thread.
I don't have to watch TV and I never had more than 2 zappers, I had 2 zappers and one forcefield which was very good, tho
I'm not surprised by your description of their passion and percipience, but glad to see my perception of the company confirmed. Makes me even more hopeful for BH2. In spite of their cult status and indie cred, established image and so many released games already, I think BH2 might be their true break-through. I posted the same query a while back, since I believe that slide to dash was the greatest innovation of MA, and a mechanic that should be a genre standard. It does so much for the skill factor and that twitch feeling. And I believe it would work wonderfully in BH2 from what I've heard so far. Back then, Foursaken had not yet decided, but I have the feeling we will not see it implemented.
If I don't watch something while playing, I start losing focus around round 25 and make stupid mistakes.
I pronounce it in my language lol.. It is very similar write-wise (Cicada x Cikáda) so I chose to not try to say it in english
Ah, you already quoted me.. I deleted it becouse it sounds bad I wouldn't expect it better from google (translations to my language are not any good becouse of our grammar and phrases. When I need to translate something from German to my language, I translate it to English instead and I don't need an translators for English)
No, it's good when you say it's similar (which is obviously true) //Edit: now you eddited it and it doesn't make sense at all lol .. //Edit: it starts to be confusing with all of the edits //Edit: mods, where are you when we need you? (don't dare to delete or EDIT anything, it was just a joke )
Did anyone notice that review sites have acces to game already but they don't give any info? I wonder if they are allowed to
Well I mean Jared talked about it quite a bit, just not in an article. Maybe Foursaken has some secrets they wish to surprise us with...
500? I just hope this game does it, you know, pushes out there and people are like, holy cow, this is a fantastic game no matter the platform... I honestly do not think a controller would work well with it.. Maybe a WiiU gamepas?
Well, if Oxynidus is hyped about entering and playing this game, count me in too! Bug Heroes and Bug Heroes Quest... And now Bug Heroes 2. Hey, if you keep making more and more awesome games, I might run out of space on my devices!!
I know This is what I'm wondering about. I get it that it is nice to let everyone discover something themselves, for example full list of heroes
Jared was quite positive about the game for sure.... I do not know if I like the hero randomized at the beginning, if that is how it launches.... But it would be a challenge to learn to play with different styles than what you may default to.
Then Block Fortress War is going to drop and, Holy cow, how will anyone get anything accomplished in real life?!
Strangely a gr3nade toting worm and machine gun strapped beatle just started ballastic warfare on my computer desk; I can't tell if the wait for Bug Heroes 2 is making me go demented or not but my co-workers are giving me bizarre looks.
