I'll struggle deciding which characters I like the most, at least I'll get to have two which will make it easier picking ones that go well together but it also sounds interesting having one legendary. But I am guessing a skilled player with two switching tactically would be more powerfull than 1 legendary alone? Or were they made that good so people that don't like switching can have just one?
Me, I will do my durned best to primarily remain loyal to Spider and Fly, just out of BH1 nostalgia and favoritism I imagine they will make for a terrible team. A "the weaknesses of one member of the due only serves to highlight the shortcomings of the other" kind of deal. I look forward to it with great and misdirected passion.
Yes, I would probably say if two top players of equal skill were matched up, a player playing with 2 heroes would have a slight edge in a head to head match. But this is also one of those things where we're going to be collected a ton of data from once the game goes live! Correct, no timers. Again, the IAPs in there are for currency to unlock new heroes quickly. There are 2 mage type characters - Moth, which is more of a support/healer type, and then a legendary hero (which I won't name ), which is more of an offensive type. He's one of my favorites
Playing the game again to get warmed up... I keep BH on my iPad and play it once every couple weeks... I keep getting to around the 40min mark and it just falls apart.... lost one of my heroes early in this game (my main guy, pictured here) and was stick with no distance shooting except for Termite's turrets.... Foursaken, definitely glad you noted that when moving "down" it is often very difficult to know what is creeping at the bottom of the screen and appreciate the camera options in the new game at least from the trailer! Every game is different, different strategies, different styles, with BH... anybody else been playing it lately? Can't wait!
I'm too lazy to flip through pages, but want to ask something about multiplayer. I know there some PVP dota mode, where you go against each other, but is there any coop mode to replace for normal mode. As i understand now, you control two heroes, switching to any one hero each time.
This game is really going to be huge in regards to content. With 25 heroes it's going to great to see what people can do with their teams. Also the legendary heroes are going to make thing very interesting. I just hope this game gets the exposure it deserves. Your last 3 games really did well and got your name out there to a lot of people that never heard of FM. I hope this is your best yet!!
In co-op you each control only 1 hero. In versus and all single player modes you'll switch between 2. Yeah, it'll be really interesting to see which teams players prefer - the leaderboards showing the hero teams are returning from BH1, so it should be fun to check them out.
I've been thinking of playing a few games to get me back in the mood before the release of BH2. There are still a few terrible exploits that exist in the game that make it hard to tell how many of the leaderboard games are legit. Try this. Start a new game with Treasure Trove. Build four Charger turrets, or three Chargers and one Scout. Fully upgrade them, then lose the game (maybe just quitting would do the trick). Now start a new game (not sure if it has to be on the same map), and build regular defenses, and watch them become crazy powerful at night, especially with Ant and Termite's defense boosting abilities. For the record, I never actually used this method to get high scores except once as an experiment in Kitchen, though I didn't break my previous record.
