Some level one missions take 2:30 secs.not exactly "quick" for 1 gem, but i don't mind, rarely do missions,I get my gems in co-op
I think I spent a little under 15 on gems to unlock 5 legendaries (one of them I was able to unlock farming gems in endless before the first update ;-) and a couple of banners to try out. Money well spent if you ask me! My only concern with those kinds of IAP is the lack of a restore option. If I lose somehow my savegames or my iCloud save gets corrupted, I lose everything. I would NOT be a happy camper then!
I'm having problems with iCloud too. Did everything the troubleshooting guide told me to and more but can't get it to work. Regarding the "nerfed" enemy spawns: They are still rediculous. Siege cannons can still spawn on top of each other so, the ladybugs are still way to OP and the hold positions waves are impossible with enemies spawning out the wazoo.
I back up to my computer with iTunes. Even without all the iCloud problems reported everywhere, I would still trust my computer more than a server somewhere anyway. I just survived 16 rounds, Hard, Living Room. Random hero bonus of +20%. Got 11 diamonds... Which means 9 diamonds + 20% is 10.8, rounded up to 11. 20% of 10 is 2, so that's not the normal earned amount. 9 diamonds for getting to where it starts being really tough. Not sure if that's a decent enough amount (it's not bad but I don't know if it's good enough), maybe it's good enough if the amount gets significantly better further... Can someone who made it farther say how far, number of diamonds, etc.? Maybe see how good 20 rounds on Hard is? 25 rounds? Does the level you play affect diamond gain?
Nah, I only got the Gold and Junk cheat gems. I think I only forked out ~$12, and the rest of the gems I spent on Army Ant and Field Mouse. (I was sleeping last night, so yes this is a late reply.)
Yes Yard has the highest bonus multiplier. After that living room and then kitchen. The multiplier is next to the level info on the game over screen.
Lol, you think WE don't wish we could just sell a game for $5 or $10 straight up? We really would love to be able to just make games, let the cream rise to the top, and call it a day. Thats just not how the App Store works. The reality is, BH2 would be a borderline FLOP if it didn't have IAPs... We're making 75% of our daily revenue from IAPs right now (in BH2). I mean, it is what it is at this point - you can believe us or not, but I can promise you 100% we didn't increase the difficulty (have only made it easier since release in every update) - there's absolutely no reason for us to have made it harder. In the end, the time to unlock heroes is the same, you just aren't really supposed to do it with diamonds (but with stars)... again, thats a fact. Granted, the missions are highly randomized so its very likely you could've played a bunch of missions before and gotten "lucky draws", and now you've gotten some unlucky ones with tons of ladybugs, etc. We're admittedly still working on balance. As for diamonds, remember, its not just 1,2,3 for missions... there are also TONS of ways to earn bonus diamonds, including timer missions that give double rewards, locked missions that give you double rewards, missions with bonus and required heroes that give you double rewards, onslaught missions that give you bonus rewards - and most of those can stack. You can still be earning ~10+ diamonds for regular missions, every couple of missions. As for balance, enemy ladybugs are getting a big nerf in next update. Not only do they not affect each other as much (so they can't create these sort of invulnerability loops), but we're adding in an "off" time for ladybug passive shielders... its going to be short, but it should give you a few seconds of breathing room. Finally, we're capping the amount of ladybugs that can be out at once.
So that isn't just a score multiplier, it's diamonds also? And the multiplier on difficulty as well? You're sure of this? Just making sure. ...And those are score multipliers, right? It certainly looks that way, the way it's listed with the score earned. And I suppose I might as well ask if the developers will tell us exactly what the diamonds gained formula is for Endless...?
Wait, what? This version or the next update? The same mission without any restrictions is 3 diamonds, this should be 6 diamonds then?
Thanks foursaken! There are many of us that understand your situation. Please dont stop making awesome games!!
I have to admit, 25 heroes is a crazy good amount. But more would be insane. A few ideas; very brief though: Grass hopper Abilities: Sing: Heal slice: triple cut carnage: whirlwind attack Wasp Abilities: sting: damage sort of thing fly: you can flying lol. sacrifice: instant kill someone for half your health. Deer-fly Abilities: Disease: After effect, like -5 every few seconds. Berserker: Faster, stronger etc. Bite: Engulfs an enemy rendering them for a few seconds.
This is actually a good thing. Sorry for voicing my opinion on Ladybugs very harshly (and therefore unprofessionally), but it's nice to see that you're still very devoted to balancing out this game. And it's quite hard to believe that all the work was done by four brilliant and bug-loving minds. (Bug-loving is meant to be a joke in part for Bug Heroes. ) I love you guys.
This new news is great, but I would like to know who is better: field mouse or robot. A lot of people are saying field mouse is the best, but I don't want to make a mistake with 500 diamonds Could someone please outline the strengths and weaknesses of both please?
I've been looking into buying the aphid or bumblebee. Anyone able to give me the pros and cons of these 2 bugs?
Well, it seems both were nerfed a bit in the patch. Aphid is more fun, imo. He's pretty much a paper tiger. Well, now he's more like a paper bobcat or something. Bumblebee has some strong attacks, but he's slower, and half his abilities are pretty dangerous and/or fiddly to use. Pre-patch, I'd have said Aphid no question. Now...probably go with Beetle or Moth.
Why did you have to nerf Alphid? He was not that strong anyways. He was just fun to play. Now not so much. And Pillbug and Crab Spider These are the 3 of my favorite 4. Still, great game tho.
Aphid: Strengths: Great support Useful buffs between him and allies Synergizes well with any bug. Weaknesses: Low Health Very little Armor His Buffs and Chi Blast require him to take his own Health. Bumblebee: Strengths: Extreme Damage and attack Speed Despite him centered around DPS, he is quite durable. Has passive health regen. Weaknesses: Armor upgrades are negligible aside from extra health regen. His toggles make him take at start 1.5x extra damage (2x if both are active at once)
