Sounds like you missed an update. The diamond gain on Hard Endless of two updates ago was doubled one update ago (though it's definitely still not as much gain as it was originally). (I haven't actually tested that yet but I would guess so, it's kind of the point. ) They can adjust it and make it less bad. I also agree that it's not quite balanced right. Something is definitely wrong with only two diamonds from specific 4 or 5 star missions. (I don't recall if that was 4 or 5 stars that only gave two diamonds... Either way, should be a bit more for that just because it's a higher difficulty level.)
I just realized that Ladybugs are counted in every category bug possible. Defending my Food Stash from ten rounds of angry Melee Bugs (this is 5-stars) is literally IMPOSSIBLE because of how Ladybugs still can turn the tide against you (and even turn that tide into a freaking Tidal Wave of Impending Doom). The nerf on Ladybugs' armor doesn't seem quite enough of a balance to me. Medics still heal at an extremely fast rate, their spawn frequency is still very high, Docs still buff enemies by a huge amount, and Shielders just add the insult to the injury. I got to round 10, and I failed it because of three medics healing a freaking Giant War Slug by a 1-2-3 count, and I was not able to strafe around the slug so I could kill the Medics. These ladybugs are incessantly irritating and extremely painful to deal with to no end.
I agreed missions need to give more diamonds Not asking for a huge boost but 4 star missions giving 2 diamonds and 5 stars missions giving 3 diamonds just seems too low to me
Scrolls only cost three diamonds right? Why is everyone complaining about not being able to get 10+ diamonds per game? As for legendary heroes, stop trying to earn them. There are a ridiculous amount of regular heroes you can earn without paying a cent. Why is it so horrible that Foursaken added extra, stronger characters that are more or less IAP only? Just buy one if you want it. Most of us have gotten hours upon hours out of this game for a buck or free. Why not give them a few more dollars for their hard work?
I just found a rather humorous bug. It made me laugh so hard while playing Endless Hard on Kitchen (Cause I'm a casual) There was a strat post below it, but since I had to leave to do a quick errand with my girlfriend, I had to load the game, and the strat post went 'poof,' leaving a magical floating Snail Cannon. What Fungal Druid sorcery is this?!
Someone sure has alot of money to spend on iAP..you have all the banners...unless you play 24*7, spent like 100$ or..have jailbreak. Anyway the floating cannon looks cool n futuristic I like it
I'm joining you with this one. The rate of gems to gain is atrocious now, especially considering the huge amount of new items that cost hundreds of the things. On release this was my best game on IOS and now it's falling to the bottom of the pile fast. Endless has been effectively marginalised and this is the mode I enjoyed most from here as well as H&C. Getting punished by gaining less gems for my favourite mode isn't that thrilling. I couldn't care about competitive leaderboards and more, every game on IOS is hacked in this regard any way. It went from a fermium to a premium and now feels like a paidmium, with all these 'optional' banners to unlock and less stars given after missions. I'm sure they are not intentionally making it worse and I'm even sure some people will find these changes better, but I have to be honest in saying I do not.
To farm gems play normal skirmish kitchen. use bumblebee and aphid and base rush. you'll do it in 25-30 secs and get 2 gems, turn on auto attack too. Also just wondering, what do the coloured banners do? are they just for show? I also realised 10k gold isn't that much haha XD thought i'd be invincible with it but still having quite a bit of trouble with the missions, the constructor missions are still hard, think i'm going to have to save up for the junk gem before i can do it. need 4 lvl 2 snail cannon turrets
The red banner says "Free with any Banner Gem" Why would someone buy this banner if they can buy another banner for 50 gems and get them both
Actually the 10k banner just gives enough gold to maximize ONE of your two heroes (5k for weapon and the rest for armor and equipment) or hire a small army of mercenaries right from the start. It gives a small boost in the early stages of a mission and does not feel like a real "cheat", so I like it. Not so sure about the Ability Gem though, I tried it once and felt clearly overpowered.
I don't get why people love the aphid/bumblebee combo so much. Not many people realise the potential of slug- my average time for kitchen skirmish on normal is roughly 23 seconds, and my fastest to date is 16 seconds. Simply kill about 10 bugs, get his 3rd ability, and 5 seconds later you have won. Surprisingly moth is my chosen sidekick just for that little bit of health I get from his passive On another note, could someone please tell me what the last bug is? I don't know how I haven't encountered it yet, but I assume it's a high-tier bug. Some of the hi-tier bugs I do know of are gyro copter, war snail, war slug, bumblebee warrior, queen ants. If someone could tell me what I'm missing it would be greatly appreciated
Well as everyone's talking about the "changes in the game" Ill give My review too. 1) the nerf on Alphid wasn't needed,it already gets crushed by range enemies and reducing the combat meditation BY THAT MUCH makes it really drastic. 2) Banners ARE GREAT alot of fun, I just bought the 800 gems pack and got the junk gem,very nice! And the best part,its unequipable. Great job on that forsaken 3) Multiplayer is much more smooth,THANK YOU FORSAKEN. 4)Since alot of people are complaining about the gem rate,maybe just increase the gem rate to get rid of the haters. 5)Amazing bug fixes,really inspired by the way you care for your players! Almost 30+ various glitches n bugs fixed within a week! Hats off dude! 6)Nice balancing with the heroes,but the crab spider and the aphid nerfs weren't needed according to me,though the nerf on crab spider can be negligible. I also think,fly should get immunity to the slugs and webs,maybe decrease damage of the banditos to balance the change? 7) someone earlier was saying we could change the "food and parts" spawning based of quantity? Instead of the time? ...Premium? NINETY NINE CENTS?! This isn't Oceanhorn or Infinity Blade or Heck, Modern Combat 4 prices... I feel like you all are posting and not going back and reading Foursaken's responses. Someone needs to develop a simply 10 word response or something to each of these posts, then just spam it every time someone says "It's so unfair I get 5 heroes, 3 modes, multiplayer and the opporutnity to earn more for free... $0.99" I may have just did it.
Yeah i don't have the slug which is why i haven't used him. I used to be able to do it in 20 secs before the updates, but now the amount of damage that bumblebee and aphid do to the base has been halved. In the second version of the game where you didn't get gems if you won in under 30 secs, i used to do living room on hard with aphid/bumblebee. I'd kill their heroes and then base rush after and use their abilities on the stash. They also remove a fair bit of health from the stash when they respawned. But in this update with the heroes i have, bumblebee+ aphid is the best combo i think.
did that nerf make it into this update? I thought I read it didn't, but it could have been something else.
Those support units will be updated (next update I assume) to not be able to do things like shielders shielding healers, and healers healing healers and themselves. People don't like feeling like IAP are being demanded of them to buy, no matter the cost. The right balance must be found. Somehow. It's like, you already bought the game and don't want to feel like you're being forced to pay more money. And honestly for mission mode I think they just need to increase some rewards a little bit. 2 or 3 diamonds for certain 4 or 5 star missions is too small, isn't it? Harder missions should give at least 4 or 5, sounds reasonable to me. Two is certainly too low, anyway. And possibly adjust Endless diamond gain (I still haven't seen the new Hard mode gain myself, though Normal could probably use an increase if they didn't change it.) I am sorry for repeating myself. It was relevant to my response so I felt I had to say that again. I have noticed that the random heroes diamond bonus won't work if the diamonds earned aren't enough. If it does something like 20% of 2 rounding down to 2, since no extra diamonds were awarded for random heroes you could have it give one extra anyway. Seems like a good idea to me, instead of no bonus in that case.
One possible solution could be the equalization between stars and diamond rewards in missions. So, a 5 star mission could reward with 5 diamonds, a 4 star one with 4 diamonds and so on... As simple as that.
This is a good idea,but then the 1 star missions would give only 1,no one would do it,and again spam here complaining.
I think, batbot, that I would run a 1 star mission real quick... if it was 1 star level of challenge of course To open up the mission list for other challenges... Just think... another game mode is coming soon, plus maybe other bugs... Honestly, just drop the $19.99 after unlocking the first five-six heroes. You then get the majority of the bugs, a banner, and a coulpe of the legendaries... that is premium price. Unlock the majority of the game there. It's better than a lot of far more expensive console games.. so folks just need to stop and drop $20.
