You can find it as unfair as you want, but I'd say you're wrong. This would be a $10 (or more) game on a PC or console download service and you, at worst, got it for a buck. The fact you can get these things at all without paying says, to me, they are more than being fair since a developer looking to maximize their bottom line would have them hard IAP only. I feel we should be praising FM for not doing what is smarter for them by ceasing to cater to the people trapped in a 1990s point of view about how games should be packaged and sold while hypocritically embracing the 2010s mobile up front pricing model.
I agree. Although, certain harder missions really ought to give some more diamonds: I saw a mission that was either 4 or 5 star and only gave 2 diamonds (it was before this update, I think, but they only said they increased Hard Endless diamonds by 2x for the recent update). It even stated the difficulty was on Hard when I won. That doesn't seem right. Anyway, depending on the mission type you could get more diamonds... But harder starred ones still should give more than two, right? I'm not saying the diamond earning rate is perfect yet, I don't know...
me too. I wonder if apple did something on their end for 7.1. They could have flipped a switch that day 7.1 came out that affected iCloud and broke this.
I see that the hero's skills on the right side of the screen are a little more to the left of the edge now... I see that tapping to the right of one doesn't trigger it. That would make it easier to tap a skill if you did that. The mission objective timer/counter is very nice. Odd that the missions in mission mode which are "clear a number of rounds" only give you a counter for remaining rounds instead of the round's objective's timer/counter too. Still have to pause and check those if I want to see how far is left. (And I'm still curious what that option at the bottom of the options menu is. "Local Data: Restore" )
I keep asking about which heroes were buffed and which were nerfed in the recent patch. At first I also asked for a detailed list. Then I just asked for a list of heroes. Now I am reducing my offer to asking for ONLY ((if you act now!!)) the list of heroes which were buffed in this latest patch (if any). Thanks!
It deletes progress (diamonds, stars, heroes,...), gives you 2 starting heroes as it did when you launched the game for the first time and let's you play the whole game again
Outstanding! Finally had some time to play more missions and a few multiplayer matches with both this and Block Fortress War, and as usual, Foursaken has given us two more awesome and addicting games! Everyone really needs to spend some money on IAP and support the games that these guys make!
Also, to help balance out my above post, and many of the other posts of the last few days, I want to share what I like about this game, Foursaken. 1) It's totally slick, smooth, well-paced, with great controls and fantastic depth. 2) It has wonderful graphics and effects, terrific implementation of visual concepts, GUI elements, and animation. Wonderful job. 3) The hero design is well-thought out, highly varied, context-appropriate, and tonally a very excellent balance between cute and vicious. 4) Ditto #3 regarding enemies. 5) Despite a few bugs and balance issues, on the whole, the release version of the game is VERY POLISHED and has hardly any significant balance issues, crashes, or other bugs. 6) The devs are smart, articulate, engaged, and most importantly, patiently respond to feedback and work to improve the game. 7) If BH2 is like their other games, we can expect more content whether or not the financial benefit is there for Foursaken. This dedication and loyalty inspires my dedication and loyalty, and I applaud you guys on your willingness to be such a shining example of how devs should behave with regards their community. 8) Despite some kvetching, I think you have done a wonderful job with IAP. My sense is that the ideal balance is somewhere between the release version and the current version, BUT I also feel strongly that you're very likely going to get as close as you possibly can to that ideal spot, and I look forward to your efforts, and will (continue to) reward them with dollars. Thank you so much for such a wonderful game. I've only put $10 bucks in so far, but more is coming and it's worth every damned penny. PS: Hopefully you read the above, so I'm going to use my tiny soapbox to add a suggestion: if you are planning on new levels, and have not yet decided on which, I'd like to recommend a Car Mechanic or Garage level (where more parts drop than food) and a Restaurant level (where more food drops than parts). Uh... Whoa. Shouldn't that say "Reset" not "Restore"? I had messed with it, but a text entry screen popped up and then I pressed Return I think, and it said it needed an Internet connection and nothing happened... I guess it removes your online high score too... My data is intact. I'm not touching odd buttons again. I might expect "Restore" to take your high score from online and save it to your local high score (in case of leaderboard reset and if you wanted to reset your local score too).
This is an option for foursaken to send you date or try and restore your data. You have to have the "code" to type in from foursaken... as far as I know it does nothing w/o a valid code from them.
Wha... Glitch alert. I suppose I should warn people of this, right? Mission mode: kill two giant centipedes. I had Waterbug use his move that holds an enemy on his hook and poisons them. On a centipede. Which vanished when the move ended. And so did Moth. Who I switched to and the game bugged out, showing pure blackness other than the HUD. It was somehow constantly giving and taking food or parts from each character's backpack. Switching characters didn't end the glitching out. Both characters said lines like they were under attack during all this. Oh, right, I'm on iPhone 5, iOS 7.1... What exactly just happened? Okay, I quit and tried the mission again, trying that move on a centipede again: After it ended, this time the centipede... floated up and away. Well that's weird. ...Hm? There's still a shadow which isn't moving. Again... Moth disappeared like the first time. Same blackness, no rapid food/parts backpack changing. Maybe it was her hitting the centipede as it glitches (out of bounds...?) that caused her to disappear? And Waterbug had his stun chance equipment and loot bag, in case that could be part of it... One last time, this time using that move without Moth near: Looks like the centipede just vanished... I can attack its shadow but I don't know if it will die. There are weapon hit sounds but no damage numbers- and now my base got destroyed by other enemies. I'm sick of messing with this glitch anyway.

Okay hold 3 strategic locations for 1:30 is near damn impossible on yard. Worst marker spawn ever. 1 is in the left side of the map, 1 in middle and 1 in furthest right part. After 20 minutes I gave up and so did the other guy. We used 2 legendaries >_> we almost did it once but those roaches. Field Mouse and Hamster are beast.
What I am left with is Gems given after update now are ridiculous. Sorry but they are. The lastest tweaks are obvious IAP pushes. Fine. I wish it was a $5 or even $10 game straight up. But I guess eventually everyone is jumping on the IAP bandwagon. I would be more forgiving had I not also bought the new Block Fortress Wars. Yeah talk about as close to forced IAP model as you can get. I like hard games. I don't like $2 games that are so overtly hard so it forcefully pushes you to IAP. Guess it's just the way lots of the App Store is today. I have been a very big fan of FM for years. Going back to playing NY zombies on my first iPod touch Gen 1. I have nothing but great things or say about the games they have created. I have had small little conversations throughout the years here and there with them on TA. Looked them up online years ago and learned a little about who they are. They seem like really smart creative and decent brothers. I owe them a big thanks for the countless hours their games have entertained me. The first BH is in my top 5 top games EVER. On that list is Last of us and Concors bad fur day. So yeah they are in good comapny on my top best ever gsmes list. I have ALL their games and have supported them with many IAPs that I really didn't need but WANTED to give. The balance on the game now is unbalanced to a level that irritates me. This one and especially BFW. I still love your games amd don't regrete my purchases on BH2 although I do on BFW. But I am left a little sad. I know you will say gems were increased not decreased and the game is same difficulty on endless but after playing many hours that's not panning out to be the case. I hope you guys don't do it to one of my other fav games in iOS history C&H 2 if you make one and I hope you do. Now you will think I am whining and plenty of people on here will get all hissy and tell me in their internet forum brave voice how wrong I am and why and throw in some really brave anonymous put downs. But this last update sucks. Don't take it personal. I really wish FM would somehow break onto the console market with a full fledged $60 game with no IAPs because I think they have the ideas and work ethic to make something really big. Rant over.
