No no no no... Then people would be annoyed they can't use all the variety of heroes without spending more money, unable to use different potentially powerful team ups without "pay-to-win"... What I'm saying is I don't like this idea. Can't do anything about it now, of course, people already have spent money on buying heroes, and the game has been sold as containing all these characters. More heroes = more randomness in random select = more diamonds.
I feel like a broken record saying that yes, we have decreased diamond earnings... BUT the overall time to unlock heroes is the same as before... you don't need diamonds to unlock everything anymore, thats kind of the whole point of the changes. Scrolls are cheaper to boot, so you should get them at about the same rate as before. I know its easy to just look at the reduced diamonds and thats it, but there's a lot more to it than that. As for the # of enemies, whether you believe it or not, it hasn't changed, except in fact we've capped the amount of max enemies, ie reducing the amount of enemies. Also, how is gameplay harder with less diamonds awarded? I don't follow... In fact, the only way to improve your odds of winning and making yourself stronger is by earning stars to get global unlocks. Diamonds only help you improve the variety of the game - not make you stronger.
Yeah, I been hearing a lot of people talk about that. Though, I don't recall it ever happening to me, but I do know the shielders act a little weird. I talk about the snails cus that's all I could relate to.. Yeah, I wonder if those grubs are suppose to be spawn. I just had that mission. I fail every time within a min. Then I tried to move to a new location(behind the first can) cus there were range enemies shooting from the side of me... But then those grubs showed up. -.- Then I beat the mission using Termite.
Hmm, yeah I'm on 7.0.6... updating to 7.1 and I'll keep you guys posted, thanks. Heading home now though, so will have more news tonight or tomorrow.
What's the restore local data option at the bottom of the options? Brings up a text entry thing for some reason.
Anybody know which heroes were buffed and which were nerfed, and maybe a tidbit of info about which specific hero changes are in this update?
I really suck. 5 star mission called firefight. Figured I'd try the banners for gold and spare parts. Played with field mouse and built 3 level 5 armories and 1 level 5 banner. Was going good until level 5. I tried to buy mercenaries and got the too many bugs on the field. Then came the healers and shielders and literally every ranged bug was shielded and healed. I don't see how this is beatable at 5 stars. Question. My armories were supposed to spit out a bug every 36 seconds. Does this still happen if there are too many bugs in the field? If not that seems wrong. Why buy the armory at all then?
So Aphid's Combat Meditation got nerfed pretty big. 11 HP per kill at I don't remember what level, but it isn't 30 at level 5 anymore >_> I guess it's for the best.
Just agreeing here. I can't think of a major game that doesn't have terrible iCloud problems sometimes. And the horrible thing is that, yeah, it's a black box because it's run by Apple. If there's iCloud problems, there's usually nothing the developer can do. Most likely not using iCloud anymore, in future games.
The Grounded Fly I'm not sure if this has been asked before, but will fly be receiving his "hover" ability from bug heroes 1? Back then I always made sure I had a flying hero in my party to help me take down slugs and web spiders, but now he and his gang of gnats are (despite logic) slowed/poisoned by slime and stunned by webs. It would be nice to see our winged friend gain immunity to these obstacles. Anyway... Have you guys found any heroes to be completely outclassed by more versatile or more efficient bugs? If so, what makes this hero so obsolete? If you could "fix"/"buff" the hero to make it more useful, what would you change?
Do building multiple bug banners, armor, slime quarters have any effect? I don't seem to notice any change. How long does the mushroom from the turret goes? It seems to take a very long time to grow. And how can you tell once it's fully grown? On another note, the bug banners are really fun addition to the game. Bought the ability gem and upgrade the reduced cooldown to max and I can spam field mouse's level 5 tactical position to fill the whole area. Finally beaten the mission that spams ladybug healers/shielder and bulb snails. Spam beats spam.
I have been too quickly to judge the lower amount of stars needed to unlock heroes At first at 75 stars to 65 stars seems low to me but after seeing the lower amounts for higher stars it gets more noticeable as you unlock more heroes
The devs say multiple bug banners stack and i've noticed this too. It's hard to tell when a mushroom is fully grown but eventually you'll get the hang of it just wait until it stops growing. "Spam beats spam." Ya can't argue with that logic.
