Die until it's a 3 star. Not joking. Next update may help, with support enemies having less armor. Bonus if it makes them stop spawning in the "armor" category. Sometimes I can win a 4 star armor battle as Field Mouse (my only high DPS ranged character), but it's a coin toss. It really just depends on how brutal the enemy spawning is. 5 seems to be impossible. Armor enemies that take a long time to kill, mixed with support which take a long time to kill, in huge numbers so that the support guys get mixed in with the shielded enemies. The only reason I can sometimes win 4 star with field mouse is artillery, to be honest. I wonder if, behind the scenes, the "enemy spawner" that determines what enemies show up has any sort of point system. I'm wondering if all enemies are roughly equal in this game's system? Could explain how weird the enemy spawning seems sometimes. Like, some 4 star missions I'll get melee snails and easy siege things. Other 4 star missions I'll get gun snails supported by shielders supported by healers supported by speed buffers, with armor ants thrown in. And it seems that the comparatively easy enemy missions throw about the same numbers at me as the nightmare hell missions. That makes me assume the "enemy spawner" doesn't take into account enemy difficulty between types.
Could we have something that adds onto the points multiplier? Let's say I activate a rune of sorts that gives all bugs say 50+ HP and 10+ Light Armor but the multiplier is increased by .20 or something and players earn X% extra amount of diamonds. To increase difficulty and reward players at the same time. Or maybe a Legendary mode? 2 Legendaries but the enemies are harder and stuff. New maps like Attic and Office? Night cycle? Different kitchen variations?
What if it wasn't a time threshold, but a quantity threshold? So instead of decaying at let's say 3:00 for example, it decays once you pick up 4 items, or something, etc.
Black Widow, for a host of reasons, but primarily her unmatched mobility, great flexibility and abilities which all have multiple purposes and uses.
Aphid or Field Mouse. Aphid's raw power is just unmatched and with a host of excellent skills make him a great hero to use. He may take some time to get used to though. Field Mouse as a legendary is probably my favourite one out there. His rifle can decimate anything that stands in the way. Artillery just destroys everything.
Field mouse - fast, high rate of fire, long range especially with scope, and 3 of his abilities are awesome. Crab spider - can you say tank. Aphid - fun and fully leveled in game is devastating. Stinkbug - maxed piercing Moth - awesome support and healing
personally I like: 1)field mouse-quick kills 2)alphid-good damage 3)honey bee- intense spawning abilities for higher levels 4)crab spider-THE tank.
Creeps are definitely weighted There are 5 tiers of creeps, and a total number of points to spend, depending on the mission. For ex a 2 star mission may only have 2 points to spend, which would mean it would spawn either 1 t2 creep, or 2 t1 creeps. We also have further requirements, meaning certain enemies will not show up until certain level of missions. Btw, support creeps only got a minor nerf right now - I think more of the problem is support guys supporting each other, rather than their individual strength or durability (mainly healers healing shielders) - will probably end up excluding all ladybugs from shielder's shield effect.
Hey Foursaken, I found a few typos I think. Roach Knight's passive is says scanvenger, and slug's weapons don't show what gets upgraded, it just has the weapon description for all of them.
For a hero who relies enitrely on parts, this probably isn't the right solution to the problem. They could have did away with more meaner spawns, or setting a timer for the round that point.
I have some suggestions for coop play, 1. Legendary heroes should have major debuffs on coop. For those of us who enjoy coop regularly, the game's roster is suddenly tiny (no incentives for regular heroes yes?) I honestly rather we disable them if you guys can't decide on a solution for whatever reason. 2. More coop modes and harder difficulty options. Ramp up could be a lot quicker than what it feels now. 3. Fix the disconnections especially during local play. Ideally when the game is out of sync, we should be able to pick and choose to resync the game. 4. Enable coop to earn stars and complete missions. It's the best way to introduce the game to friends.
Problem is, you could still exploit the system with Termite... just sit around on a "save the slaves" round, junk smashing everything until you have a million spare parts for the later rounds. Its set up right now so that realistically the spare parts will only stop spawning if you actively TRIED to exploit the system.
1. Legendary heroes have a 50% score reduction... meaning you have to play twice as long, and twice as good to get the same score (round 40 vs round 20). Its a HUGE deal. Not to mention they have a host of other negative effects such as when they die, they automatically eat double the food from your food stash. 2. We already sped it up by 2x after the 1st update... seems to go pretty quick to me, but we can check it out. 3. Sync errors are of course an issue, but "resyncing" a game is not really possible with GC. 4. Not sure about this. Thanks for the feedback though!
