Knowing Foursaken I'm sure there's something they can do to help. In the future, however, make sure that you send your save to the cloud before deleting said games.
Fungal Druids are weird guys. They sometimes attack me with their ranged attacks when I come right next to them. Their melee also has a generous range, so they should be using them when I'm real close to them.
Or back up to iTunes on your computer. Various games have had iCloud problems, and I trust my own computer more than a server somewhere anyway.
I have never played such a perfect game like BH2. 1. From the graphical perspective: this game is a blast. I was thrilled the same way when I played RR3 the first time. 2. From the gameplay perspective: pure fun, fast and responsive action. 3. From an in-game currency perspective: perfect balance of income (even after 1.0.2). A lot of people forget that this game only operates with one currency... Question @Foursaken_Media: Is it possible that You guys add the option to disable the momentum while looking around (like in NYZ2)? Please? : )
1. There's a 5-star review from TA already. 2. 122 may not be "top of the charts" but that is still pretty impressive considering the number of games being released/updated each week.
Exactly this. The banditos are all dead once AoEs, fork guys, and poison puddles show up. There has to be more to the Fly hero other than relying on Moth. Even so, they are fairly easy to take out.
Discussing the "pet classes": I used to go for Honey Bee a lot until I noticed that two things would happen: 1. He'd become completely invincible due to sheer number of pets, until the game lagged unless you AVOIDED using your abilities. 2. If a shielder and AOE enemy spawned next to each other at any point, you'd probably lose all your pets from that combo. Ladybug shields one of the spinning knights, your pets attack the shielded knight target uselessly. Then the knight wakes up and hits your stationary pets for 100 over and over till they die. I'd lose ENTIRE ARMIES this way unless I was constantly vigilant. I pretty much just use Field Mouse now, mostly because he's my only decent ranged damage hero. Or Army Ant + Moth, and I simply don't bother getting Army Ant's pet, or I get a single rank. Too much of a liability. Whenever I run away from a fight, his pets get killed.
I love the game. I was a huge fan of the original and enjoyed quest too. Anyway, I think I found a bug (and not the hero kind). I'm currently on a mission where I have to keep three map points under control for three minutes (or something like that). I was using termite and pillbug. Things were going great until I got distracted and let all my turrets die. There were no more spare parts on the map; so my termite was useless. But then I remembered termite's junk smash ability. It's supposed to do decent damage and have a chance of dropping spare parts. I tried using it four or five times, but I didn't get any part drops. I continued to use the ability, figuring I would eventually get some parts, but I had no such luck. I even leveled the attack up to the point where there was supposed to be a 60 percent chance of part drop. Still nothing. I think the ability is broken. I used it six or seven times at max level on large groups of flees and grubs, but I'm not getting ANY results. Anyone else experiencing this bug?
You aren't getting any parts because the longer a round goes for, the less gold you receive and food and spare parts are dropped. Foursaken included this into termites junk smash ability (most likely because people would stay on one round and farm parts with him) as well for balancing reasons. As an example, if you were playing endless and you had a capture point mission, and stopped receiving parts, once the round is completed, the normal income of gold, food and parts would be restored. This balancing will be reworked in future, as some rounds require a lot of time to complete, so the degradation would be slowed in those missions.
Just bought 500 gems for field mouse. I normally hate buying IAP but I had to repay Foursaken for caring so much about their user base. Let's see what this beast can do.
I guess that makes sense. Foursaken should really change the ability description though. If what you said is true, there is definitely not a "20 percent chance to drop spare parts". Anyway, I'm fairly new to BH2, and I'm not really sure how the rounds work. Do you have to finish an objection to complete the round, or is it set up with a timer like BH1? If the first is true, wouldn't it be really easy to just farm levels before the "real game" starts?
How to beat a level 4 or 5 armor battle? That smokes me every time. I tried crab spider and stinkbug. Had crab set up with his two toggles and stinkbug killing as fast as he could until about the 5th round when all heck broke loose and healers, shielders, bulb snails and about 10 or so gun snails show up. Holy cow it got so I couldn't see or target the high priority shielders and healers. Tried twice now it's a 3 star. Any advice?
Some of the rounds are on a timer (Defend against siege bugs for x amount of time, etc) while some are objective based (Capture 2 strategic points for x amount of time, etc). While you could farm levels indefinitely on an objective based round, it would become increasingly difficult to do so as over time, less food and spare parts spawn and your rate of gold income gets slower and slower. On that note, while I do understand that people were exploiting it so they could farm up gold/food/parts/levels, the update seems to be more punishing than it should. Later on in games when rounds get more difficult, they tend to take longer. Sometimes I'll be struggling in a round to try to clear out the map a bit before going after the objective, only to notice that I've "taken too long" and I'm already getting less gold. I feel like either the "timer" should be a bit longer, or something should be implemented that tells the game that you're actually trying to complete the objective and not farming.
Foursaken mentioned somewhere that they should tweak the system so that rounds that take longer to complete (hold x positions for x time, for ex.) would make your income of g/sp/f degrade over a longer period of time. As for the confusion with termites ability- one way to explain it is this: There is an imaginary vault of food and spare parts. At certain intervals, food and spare parts are taken out of the vault and placed on the map (or in termites' case, at level one he has a 20% chance to take out spare parts from the vault). Once the vault is empty, no more food or spare parts can be summoned from it, and this goes for termites' ability as well. This is by no means how it actually happens, just a representation/analogy.
How about a mode where you can use a pair of heroes with legendary heroes selectable? That would be fun.
