I wouldn't mind him getting a boost since I like him as a legendary. Reminds me of the Druid from H&C (which was my favorite), with some Mage thrown in. I've had a couple of the boost totems out at once, so if they stack it's not too bad. Not like the Army Ant's banner which fades once the cool down is up. Plus his fungus spawns can take a bit of a beating.
Bandito limit? So, I got fly on my next hero unlock and notice after having 15 or 20 banditos out, I am unable to make more. It says" Too many bugs...." Did this get nerfed that he now has a maximum number of banditos he can have? I thought I read earlier in this thread it was unlimited. What about Honeybee or any other Hero that can "make" allies?
Both performance and balance reasons. Ally spawns in general were too powerful as they were... You get reasonably get 40+ allies out in the first couple of rounds, and pretty much just run around invulnerable... it wasn't balanced 20 is the max, which is still very powerful! Btw, change-log for 1.1: -Added unlockable banners for heroes! -Fixed a crash on older devices running iOS 5.0 (iPad 1, iPod Touch 3g, iPhone 3GS, etc) -Slightly increased diamond income in endless, hard and some mission types -Lowered armor of Ladybug support enemies -Improved Cannon and Mushroom turrets -Fixed a problem where you couldnt 1v1 certain players on a local connection -Decreased cooldowns of Legendary Hero abilities as you level them up, increasing their overall effectiveness later in a game -Fixed several issues with Tarantula abilities -Added an option to disable quick turn -Improved frame rate on low graphics and low generation devices -Improved performance of Baby Spiders -Greatly decreased the amount of stars required to unlock new heroes -Tweaked several mission types to be less frustrating -Food Stash is less vulnerable to hero rushes and attacks in Versus/Skirmish mode -Improved AI of heroes on hard in Skirmish mode -If the game quits in the middle of a co-op game, youll get your reward when you open the game again -Fixed a bug where loading an Endless game would make it easier -Added some failsafes to prevent hero stun locking -Various hero balancing -Lots of other misc tweaks and fixes -Miscellaneous bug/multiplayer fixes
When the shield is glowing, bullets are useless. But when it stops glowing, it apparently is needing to recharge... Now's your chance to shoot the shield and actually cause damage to the bug (though it still has Armor). I have no idea if shooting the glowing shield charges it to make it last even longer... At any time, you can hit the bug from behind to avoid dealing with the shield (you probably knew that). You could get them between a hero and your other hero or base turrets so they can't face both at once... Unless lots of other enemies are attacking and this would be too dangerous. "When you upgrade" should be the less potentially confusing "at the screen where you can upgrade them." (You don't have to upgrade them to see their HP. You have to walk over to them to tap their upgrade screen icon to view their upgrade screen, though.) So is the update submitted yet? And again I'll say, I'm wondering if maybe you used a request for expedited review. Let's see how long Apple takes this time.
Foursaken: Thanks for the update info. What were the ability fixes for tarantula? Can u b more specific? Thanks!
Looks fantastic man. One question... on this specifically: i have about 180 stars now... Will the unlocks be retroactively given to me?
Will Fly and Honey Bee at least get some hero buffs or buffs to their allies to compensate? Fly is pretty darn weak without at least a dozen Banditos. And Honey Bee is imo QUITE weak on his own. Nerfing their allies is fine, but if you haven't already, maybe consider lowering Honey Bee's cooldowns and buffing his sword/gun damage. Fly could really use some better equipment and a larger base clip... I love Honey Bee tactically, but really his only use is to churn out huge armies. 20 ants + mishmash is alright, but not with those ridiculously long cooldowns on his summoning abilities. Plus, his bottom two abilities would be much more interesting to use if the cooldowns weren't so long, and capping units would make the unit cap would be less of an issue. Lastly, if it isn't too much trouble, it'd be great to see a delineated list of the hero balance tweaks in 1.1 (if it isn't coming in the patch notes proper) my 2¢ Thanks!
Well, in the next update, the requirement to get heroes via stars will be significantly lowered so it should be easier to get heroes. Just have fun, play the game and sooner or later you'll have a new hero
Well, Honey Bee was flat out OPed once he got his neverending army up. The "nerf" was to bring him in line. IMO he's where he should be right now, though maybe some of his other abilities may need a slight buff. As for Fly, if he has issues is not bc of Banditos - if he needs a buff it'll be in his other abilities. Banditos are plenty powerful as it is. As for other hero tweaks, a bunch of little stuff so I can't remember it all tbh. Minor nerfs on Aphid, and we tweaked Line Breaker for Crab Spider (it now has a limited turn arc while active - still probably too powerful). Playing through missions, it should be roughly 50 stars = 1 to 1.5 hours of missions.
Just to confirm... The next arriving update saves your scores earned while offline and lets you view them offline?
I don't know if this has already been mentioned or maybe I am the only one who cares about this but why are the Hamster and Field Mouse bleeding green blood? They are mammals so their blood contains hemoglobin which would make it red. I know this is totally irrelevant to gameplay I was just wondering would that be so hard to fix?
I believe that's already in. It only shows your top score though, if you go into the scores screen when you're offline. It would bump up the age rating to show real blood.
My guess is that they run on nuclear energy, Hamster is a pure beast bashing enemies everywhere into the air
Cheers. But i thought they lowered the stars needed in the recent update. Ohh, interesting thanks! I've looked into a couple of your games and they look like they've been put alot of effort into them. Sad BH2 isn't getting much popularity.
Just my own score offline is fine, I only really expected that much. Well, it does save a score that was earned while offline, right? I was mistaken: I thought I already checked after updating... My score is there offline. Wait, that's my pre-update score! Maybe we need an option to delete our own score from the offline list in case we want to?
