Universal Bug Heroes 2 - (by Foursaken Media)

    Does anyone like circadia? I hate her. She has a suuuuper slow rate of fire, it is not splash damage... And the reload time takes forever. Her stealth ability is the only reason i use her. Hopefully foursaken will buff her..

    Also, what's the big fuss over army ant? Slug and zpillbug seems better

    Less gems in general, after the last patch. In return, scrolls prices have been reduced, and the upcoming patch will lower star tiers for random hero unlocks.

    Foursaken hope to rebalance hero and scrolls progress so that hero unlocks will primarily be achieved through stars, and diamonds will primarily (or at least more regularly) be put towards scrolls.

    Everyone... not only is Foursaken right now working on fixing these release issues, they are also working on new content.

    The release issues: The games Foursaken creates typically are so multi-layered, with all kinds of stats, abilities, weapons, upgrades, etc. to help extend and enrich the game experience, that it would be, I feel, almost impossible to get it completely right. They are not Blizzard developing Starcraft... then again, even after years (YEARS!) of developing and "balancing" Starcraft II, they still have had to release numerous patches to deal with the balance issues. Once it hit the public, like Bug Heroes, it played differently with the common consumer.

    Secondly, New content. There is this mysterious game mode coming... hopefully its not Angry Bugs or something... Flappy Bugs? :).... plus who knows what else? There is obviously a ton of great ideas of new bugs that they could implement (but really, is there a need for more with TWENTY FIVE?!) more maps to add, etc. On top of squashing the bugs and trying to find the right balance, they are making new stuff to enrich the game that you either got for free or spent $0.99 on. Or you bough $10 of IAP. that $10 expedites the process of the game, which has and will have so much content available and hours on top of hours of game play to learn all the nuances of a Stinkbug/Widow combo, or why Ant/Army Ant is a dynamic duo...

    For me, I get more gaming experience out of this than Call of Duty. Not only that, mobile gaming fits my crazy busy life more. Couldn't be happier that there are companies like Foursaken, Halfbrick, etc. plus individuals like the dude who made All Glory to the Pixel King, etc.

    ...oh, and Block Fortress War is out in less than 24 hours. On top of all this, that.

    Slug with with max battery discharge and auto aim. Then just get the bugs to line up single file.

    She was my first champ and I love her. She's made to fight single tough enemies with her passive and riposte. Once it stacks enough the enemy will slow down so much you can easily kite them and the movement buff will help you as well. Move into auto attack range and hit them and back off while the aa is on "cooldown". Then small bugs and ranged bugs is not a problem with her engarde skill. And it she does wonder with other champs because you can walk around and just armor shred everything will the ally finishes them off. But she is suppose to be a fencer so play her like one and just keep moving in and out.

    Still no answer to my question on how many random heroes you get from stars.
    Would it happen to be as many as you need, maybe in the next update?

    How about a boss rush mode? Fight every hero in a row, followed by every legendary.
    And have a two at once variation.

    Very displeased with the multiplayer now. Co-op disconnects way to much. Always says game out of sync,where before it was fine.

    Great analysis of the current state of BH2 and Foursaken, right back at ya ;)

    Perhaps not for most of us ;) But for Foursaken, additional heroes is probably the most reliable long-term profit source (as I doubt many players who own all heroes will purchase IAP diamonds for scrolls alone :) ). In this way, they can make a recurring profit of a game that would otherwise have been a one-off for many players. Unless BH2 is tanking badly, it wouldn't make much business sense not to keep piling on bug champions with BH2's purchase model.

    Additionaly, even for players with plenty of heroes left to unlock, a steady influx of new bugs will probably contribute to a vibrant multiplayer community, keep players on their toes by constantly forcing them to adapt their strategies to counter new threats, and add a constantly growing sense of variety and sophistication. And keep the wiki in a constant state of under construction ;)

    A combination of above-mentioned reasons is probably why many desktop MOBAs seems to do so well with freemium models that rely on constant content additions in the form of new heroes to purchase.

    People might think us off in the heads for saying so, but yeah, same for me!

    We are nearing the point where it might be perfectly feasible to keep only Foursaken games on our devices :D They currently cover all my action and realtime tactics/strategy needs, my desire for competitive online gaming, and add a variety of flavours (Minecraft-like creativity, story-based RPG gaming, casual cooking simulation, making fun of short people) on the side. Add a complex 4X title and a tactically intricate TBS, both with async multiplayer, and possibly an immersive, narrative-heavy open world RPG, and I need look no further ;)

    I'm not sure we'll get new heroes considering the game isn't doing great on charts. I imagine FM isn't too happy with sales.

    That isn't stopping them, though. They've just released Block Fortress War on NZ, soon for worldwide.
    So, I'd imagine that would help with their charting on BH2.

    I'm sure they're not getting too caught up in how the game is doing in the short term (day to day or week to week). They are probably looking more at the long term and are in it for the long haul.

    Could someone please provide some info on the new star random hero unlock system?
    Eg. 1,25,75,175... etc.

    Would like to know how the new one compares to the old one. Thanks!:)

    And how many random heroes can you earn?

    Sorry I'm asking yet again, but maybe two related posts in a row would work... :p
    (Well, I haven't really been spamming the question, at least... mainly saying it when it was relevant, saying something else too... :eek: )

    I really need to know if I want to save the last ones for that instead of spending diamonds I could save for legendary heroes. :eek:
    About 6 heroes left (excluding legendaries)...

    You can theoretically unlock all non-legendary heroes via stars.

    Re: boss rush, thats actually a cool idea ;) Biggest problem with that is we'd need to add in a lot more dynamic AI, which can be tough.

    That's the responsible way to handle these things, but many devs have to focus on release week because they get a vast majority of sales and IAP close to release. At least that makes sense to me.

    I would like to invest some serious time into this game but I also want to know it has staying power, I kinda wish they spaced the releases out a bit more so that it wouldn't fragment the community. But I'm def not complaining!
