Mine is a 15% bonus, with 8 heroes unlocked and no legendaries. Currently with 151 stars and 1018 diamonds. It's less heroes than Ironforge, so maybe it's tied to stars/ diamond quantity. Maybe I need to stop hoarding them and finally get a legendary and some scrolls.
I think it may be linked to heroes from what you've said though, the more heroes you have, the more random it's going to be. Cause if I only had 3 heroes it's not going to be quite so random And that's a nice amount of diamonds! I wouldn't spend them until the other update comes into place, cause apparently they're lowering the cost of heroes? (Just from what other people have said).
I have an issue of broken trust with Foursaken now... I bought 12$ of IAP, never spent that much money on any other app ever. I though: OK, with this income I can buy these IAPs so I will have a balanced experience and can achieve the rest of bugs by playing normally and support Foursaken. That Foursaken (was praised for doing the opposite) wasnt going to do that. Oh well, too late for a refund I guess. Broken trust takes a long time to heal. Now I either upgrade or grind insanely. Damn. 12$ wasted. Lesson learned.
I wouldn't upgrade , just grind insanely (do the normal kitchen skirmish, aphid+bumblebee) for a while or at least till you're happy with the heroes you have and the scrolls. I was just about to start saving up for legendaries cause I just got the last normal hero I wanted yesterday (crab spider). I'm sitting on 0 gems...... really can't be bothered trying for a legendary any more. At least, I wouldn't upgrade until they release the second part of it or only if you lag heaps and can't actually play the game at all. And they may have a better explanation, but that's all I could think of with the gem reward reductions...
TheFrost, remember this is a two part update! This isn't how the game is going to be for much longer, I promise. Plus you'll be given a bunch of heroes when the next update comes along because of the reduction in the star requirements. Now playing missions is the best way to earn diamond and that's what they wanted originally. Please don't make this a trust issue. They're not done yet
Shame to see they nerfed the diamonds so hard. I was ok with relentlessly grinding endless over and over and over again because it seemed like a reasonably achievable outcome but if this is the new setup then I'm probably done. The fact that this was literally the first patch out the door, submitted practically as soon as the game went live, indicates to me that it was an economic call.
Why not just play the game and have fun and worry less about "grinding"? Games are meant to let you have fun. It's neither a job nor a race to see how fast you can unlock everything. The game doesn't end after all.
I get what you're saying, but right now the missions are way too hard and you can't get diamonds to experiment with new heroes. At least before when I failed the missions, I could grind a little, get a new hero and test that out on the hard mission which was fun even if I failed. I just wanted to get the new heroes cause it's quite enjoyable to have more guys to play and muck around with. It was also nice to feel like you have something to aim for/work towards in the game and when that's taken away from you, it's pretty annoying, especially when I was expecting the game to be even better after the update. I apologise for being so blunt in my previous posts, but I just really liked this game before the update Really hoping they exceed all our expectations with the next update!
Did you guys not read the update changelog? Look, it's just as they told us, idk like 500 times? Please stop flipping out and calling FM liars and scammers.
They could just as easily have consolidated the economy patch into a single update instead of staggering it into an extremely punitive initial update and the salve of a followup update. Furthermore, the gem payout has been nerfed down to 33% and less whereas the scroll cost has been nerfed down to only 60%. And let's not forget, the "cheaper" (who knows exactly how cheap they will be given the shocking gem nerf) star unlock only pertain to the common heroes. This gem nerf clearly pushes the legendaries out of the reach of common grinding. Even if you pay 9.99 as a premium worth of the app you will only be able to purchase 3 legendaries and one character. For the other legendaries, scrolls and commons you will have grind for an eternity.
I was thinking along the same lines as you about the hero unlocks. I'm just reeaalllly hoping we're wrong and this next update is super awesome and it's possible to unlock legendaries as well!
Block Fortress War anyone here is hype for that game ??? !!! and aso is that game going to be freemium like this ?? Man.....I hope its not , hate IAP !! btw just asking , I fI dont like the original block fortress or minecraft , will I like this game ????????? ( cuz it seems different from its first , correct me if Im wrong )
I never have, I generally don't use auto aim either as I find it hard when my view keeps swinging to lock onto enemies. I tend to use bumblebee a bit as well and want to save his charge attack for a strong enemy as opposed to a weak one too. How have you found it? Any success?
No, they couldn't. There were a lot of bugs you didn't even know about which were reported by me in the pre-release version. And also prople weren't buying scrolls when they had the old price. And multipliers were just too different to keep everyone interested in playing on other maps. They also fixed lags caused by units. In addition of the next update it will be perfect
Its ok, this is why I don't have my iTunes set to Auto Update. I will just continue playing the launch build until the next patch is released and we can get the full "working as intended" experience.
If people weren't buying scrolls they could have continued not buying them till the consolidate economy update, just the same as hero unlocking is fubar until next update, it wasn't a game breaker. In fact, overall in the economy scrolls were cheaper in the last update as gems were more abundant. They are MORE expensive now. People not playing the maps proportionately was also not a game breaker, even if they wanted people to play all maps equally they didn't need to nerf the gem payout. The two things are not connected. The lag has nothing to do with the economy nerf.
Sapphire, they couldn't have. That update was waiting for review for about 12 days, which is basically when they made the second update, and they didn't want to take the first update down and combine the two because they wanted the first out as soon as possible. They didn't know it would take so long to go live
This update was NOT just about diamonds.. Misions still give the same ammount of diamonds so scrolls actually ARE cheaper. They wanted to have them cheaper compared to heroes, which they really are
