Mouse isn't great at surviving Endless (none of the Legendary heroes are, IMO), but he's great at skirmishes. He's the hero I used to win one skirmish in 15 seconds (got lucky with the cheese drops).
I finished a 5 star "Hold 3 Strategic Points for 3:30" by using the Termite and Pillbug. I kept the Pillbug at base for housekeeping and with the Termite I kept placing one Gunner and one Heavy turret at each strategic point. I also had pretty much all my upgrade points in turrets, including 3hp/sec heal for all turrets. That helped Termite's turrets stay alive.
Also doable with Crab Spider + any other hero. Crab Spider alone can taunt all the bugs away from your strategic locations. Give him the occasional potion to keep him healed, and victory is all but certain.
You'd have to keep grinding until he reaches level 6 or so, keeping him alive by giving him potions. With fully leveled taunt, and perhaps upgraded armor, he could easily survive the mob spam.
But meanwhile the mobs keep getting worse... maybe you had more stars to pump into defense upgrades and scrolls that don't have debuffs.
Oh right. I do have my defense upgrades maxed out. I don't think the mobs get worse though, because I remember it kept getting easier and easier. The hardest is the first minute or two.
True stuff. It's all mere gnats and fleas with the occasional river of hungry grubs wanting your food like it's rush hour to a soup kitchen.
Well it finally took me acquiring 257 stars before I was locked out of the missions. One due to required chars I do not own and two missions with timers that need more stars that I unlocked. I do not like being forced to do endless or skirmish mode. I will do it on my time. So instead of playing by Foursaken's rules, I changed my phone's calendar and got two new missions instead. I'm sure some others have figured this exploit out, but I never so it posted so here it is.
Question for those lasting into the 30+ rounds... do food and spare parts start to dwindle and ultimately stop spawning eventually?
I find it about the same. Although I did face a bug where a few food and a few spare parts spawned on top of each other and I could not collect any of them. This was something like 3 food on top of each other nearly and about 4 spare parts on top of each other right next to it. It did only happen once - i did take pic if you want me to dig it up. It was on the living room map and spawned in the middle of the far wall away from the base under the "kitchen chair" if you know what i mean.
Are you absolutely positive by round 30-40 or so you still got the "the man gods have blessed us with food and spare parts" drops?

Yes and actually I set a little timer every 5 minutes to remind me parts are refreshed just in case i afk for a few sec watching tv or whatever while the message "The man gods have blessed us" comes on - when my timer dings i just reset it and go collect. Hasn't happened yet that I dont find food/parts at the designated time
I still had the Man Gods messages, been trying to see how far I can go on Endless Medium. On round 117, though, I noticed that food tends to spawn within each other, and when I collect it, around a couple of the food drops automatically proc Mechanical Backpack upgrade regardless of level. It's a bit of a strange, and fairly exploitable, bug, but since I rarely ever feed, I had no use for it. Thought I would give you a heads up.
Not sure if this has been addressed before. When you start a new game, buy a legendary hero and do the tutorial using the legendary hero, you will get stuck at the part where it says swap since you are only using one hero.
Newbiet Hello ! New to this game! Please let me know how you guys are earning such insane amounts of gems ! I am stuck in 3 star missions where I am not able to beat ranged characters!! please do let me know! I am getting 2 to 7 gems per skirmish or endless!! also which hero is best against ranged!! or is it relative??
I also want to ask if towers have target priorities? Or its just whatever is closer to the food stash?
