Universal Bug Heroes 2 - (by Foursaken Media)

    I have an iPhone 4s not a 5. It seems like the game possibly ran out of memory when writing more than 5 words so it could be a simple issue as that but the game runs fantastic (30+ FPS) otherwise.

    It is lagging if there are 10 bulb ants or snails. Or even if you have a smaller creep army. All this on an iPad Air.

    Game Impressions

    This game is awesome and you are also awesome Foursaken Media.

    I'm just waiting for that update now.

    Also I miss the Wasp character from the first game, do you plan on adding him to the game later? I remember him using swords and being able to fly, he was one of my favorite characters.

    Beetle is strong indeed but in the higher rounds where the enemy is using damage boosted units, I think it is only the C Spider that can stand his ground against the armor piercing bombs and electrical charges.
    Beetle is not Oped at all.

    I miss the wasp too. Although it was only an alternative character to spider. But yeah. The ability to fly and avoid all those puddles and webs :)...

    Roach is awesome. I just love to sprint through the whole map w/ the Scurry ability.

    @Rafy211 I dont find Beetle OP. He's too slow, so he takes a lot more damage than other less armored melee characters. He needs the health regen and other stuff to make him feasible.

    Foursaken, some ideas for future heroes:

    A flame thrower ant ( it was mentioned before) with a lot of splash damage, and maybe a special move that turns the flame into a devestating blue flame?

    A sniper kind of hero. Doesn't shoot very often, but when it does, it does a lot of damage. (Maybe even have some kind of scope?)

    Finally, maybe an earthworm or something, that can burrow underground.

    Also, an idea for a map: We already have 2 big open maps, so if you were to ever make a new map, maybe make closed tight spots and different paths you can choose from.

    I would personally like to see more actual Flying bugs and leaping bugs that can use a skill to get around quickly like a grasshoper or a Dragonfly!

    Read this forsaken media

    I got this game around 2 weeks ago, and have been spending alot of time on it(almost 4 hours a day :p ) anyway I found a few bugs which I would like to point out, I read the last 100 pages and there are a few bugs and suggestions I have:

    MULTIPLAYER: I have been doing alot of multiplayer(18th rank in co-op and 31 in 1v1 :p) and I found a few problems,

    1) Usually the game crashes and says " game out of sync other player had to be disconnected
    SUGGESTION: Maybe its possible to start the round again after restoring the connection. Like if your at round 22 and it disconnects its really annoying as you spent around half an hour to get there, and all of it gone as you can't do the higher rounds without an other
    player as easily, so maybe the game can pause then reconnect/resync it?

    2) The lag in multiplayer is INTENSE and if your in co-op and siege cannons spawn, it takes about a minute to get to them.
    SUGGESTION: Maybe reduce the fire rate of seige cannons in multiplayer.

    3)The leaderboards don't show up at times(already addressed)

    4) If your in a multiplayer lobby, your ready, but you you decide to type a message and then the other player clicks 'ready' while your typing, the game dissconnects.

    SINGLE PLAYER:

    1)kitchen map: we should be able to build a bridge to the other table, like in multiplayer.
    SUGGESTION: maybe we can buy one for 1000 gold?(not to expensive)

    2) crab spider: I feel this bug is way too overpowered. It cant be killed..all it needs is line breaker and a vampire scroll.

    That's the few suggestions I have now,so thanks for seeing Forsaken, hope its helpful, a beautiful game by the way, one of my favorites :) keep up the good work.

    Noo don't nerf Crab spider!
    And great idea for the kitchen map, being able to build a bridge across to the other table with gold or spare parts would be great, we need more interactive things on the maps.

    We're going to wait for the next 2 updates to hit before we really start evaluating unit balance - need enough time for players to settle in and understand all the game dynamics (which I think some people are getting to that point by this time).

    Right now, I do have a tentative list of a few heroes OPed and UPed that we'll likely tweak - mostly minor things here and there.

    Aurgh. Still holding off on playing the game until at least the first patch - certain situations just cripple my iPad 3. It hasn't stopped me from buying a bunch of the bugs though...

    So on my perspective(opinions change according to the person, here are some of the strongest bugs

    1) field mouse: When at level 20 with full range upgrades, its insane!A balanced tanky firepower weapon of mass bug destruction!

    2)Alphid: Very powerful with regenerative skills, possibly the highest hits, with a tier 4 sword, alphid can kick some bug hide! But gotta be careful with the health at the starting of the mission.

    3)Crab Spider: Undoubtedly the BRUTE of the game, it can win games by just standing! At a high master level, it deflects attacks almost completely, with line breaker and a vampire scroll, it can make the legenary heroes cry.

    4) Honey Bee: Though many people say its the weakest, its THE BEST SUPPORT CHARACTER , in co-op its almost a must at the higher levels! Its awesome ability to spawn units and increased gold production, brings terror with giant number of zombie shrooms, war snails and more!

    Other bug reviews:

    Hamster: its a huge tank,high damage, but given the high health, it can still be taken down by other legendaries and properly paired normal bugs.

    Tarantula: great health, mind control is helpful during higher rounds, gives extra parts, but is slow,and does good damage(20) but very slow attacks, with a vampire scroll, can take a huge beating and still kick ass.

    Robot toy: great attack, with a stun scroll its great for pvp, but its slow and range of gun is less,, in pvp after it levels up, its last shield ability is a sure win!

    Praying mantis: amazing speed and damage, but the abilities are useless at higher levels.

    Stickbug: strong damage and abilities, but it can easily be overruled by a team of moth and another hero.

    Army ant: very powerful, can spawn units and an overall beast

    I'm in the middle of a game at the moment, and I can't manage to win this round. Hold 3 strategic locations for 2 minutes. They are destroyed almost instantly. All I can think of is wait for enough spare parts to make them all fully leveled snail cannons (has more HP) or something. :(

    And the wait time on a hero respawning is so annoying. Over 90 seconds now! I'm in round 26.
    It doesn't feel fair or fun. If both my heroes die, I'm usually doomed when it's a far enough round to have long wait times... No chance to make a comeback. Not fun. It's like it suddenly all comes crashing down instead of giving me a chance to continue. :(

    And waiting for my dead hero to come back while Termite waits at the base stocked with turrets is really getting annoying. :eek:
    And I basically need those turrets to fight off the centipedes, so trying to put some around the strategic points isn't likely. :eek:

    Honey Bee hero has two abilities that spawn allies. Very useful.

    In the siege missions enemies only attack base, so your allies tend to build into a large mass since there's noone to cut them down

    :p Should be more counter play to certain champs.

    Slug's third spell, the super mega death laser is literally unstoppable unless you can infiltrate and stun him or something, which no one can really do. Maybe cover or somrthing?

    Ant seems to not do really anything his best spells seem to be his Shield Generator and maybe his Tower Boost. He's pretty inaccurate and doesn't do much damage.

    Commando pistols also only do like 1 or 2 damage for cicada, and it's pretty sad.

    And finally, being able to be invisible for so long doesn't seem right. What if you make it so when you attack, you get seen? Because it's a little crazy being able to essentially escape or kill anytime you want, especially turret dive.

    Maybe for aphid too, if you autoattack his chi slash, it rebounds? I thought it was pretty cool against the armored spinny bugs, but sucked when it was close range and you couldn't dodge it. The counterplay to that spell is fun. More oppurtunities like that would make the game really fun.
