I just played a few games of Heroes & Castles, and that led me to believe i love H&C more than i do BH2, but these 2 games are among my top iOS games ever. Ok so here's the dilemma im facing now... I really like BH2's auto-attack when something is in range of an attack. Think Foursaken can add an option for auto-attacking in H&C? EDIT: Just realized i should have posted this on the H&C thread instead. Heading there now.
Anyone else experiencing the bug where your char's passive does not scale upon leveling? My Fly and Robot are the only two chars I have affected by this bug.
There were many more "bugs" like this in the pre-release version but they are only display bugs - you see wrong numbers but they work correctly
Like Bumblebee? His "stand still to charge next attack" says for me it increases power by 0% every second... It's definitely actually having an effect though. Speaking of passives, is it possible to view them during a game? Are there any that get stronger when you level up during a game?
Okay. So that means no real need to view passives during a game, unless you just unlocked a hero and jumped in without checking.
Roach is fantastic. You really do just need to know how to use him, especially as he levels up. His greatest weakness is piercing enemies because of his low HP. He can be truly devastating.
Agreed. I love roach. He's very fast for having such heavy armor, and he can sustain himself with a passive and abilities that increase food drop rates. Additionally, with feast he can do massive damage.
How does hamster compare to bumblebee? So far bumblebee is my best melee character, not that I'd buy another legendary, I like the two hero dynamic too much to go solo
Anybody having crashing issues with Bug Heroes? Running on a 4s and on some longer missions, the game freeses then crashes, also in multiplayer if you type in more than 5 words, the game crashes. Love the game but these slight issues annoy (the single player does not crash frequently but multiplayer does when typing over 5 words in the chat).
I hope I don't come across in the wrong way here but perhaps it is time to upgrade your hardware? Believe me, I truly understand not everyone wants to or can afford a newer device! On the other hand, if you want to play a full featured 3d game that was released in 2014 on a 2011 device you need to lower your expectations- significantly. I understand Foursaken as the awesome developer they are try to support older devices best they can but if you expect your iPhone 4s to perform on a 5s level that is not reasonable. There is only so much optimization any developer can do to try to support older devices and in case of this game, as difficulty goes up and more enemies spawn even newer devices can slow down a bit. That said, Foursaken is known for updating, optimizing and patching bugs in all of their games so it may be more stable for you after a few patches. Now let me ask: did you notice that Bug Heroes 2 app description says "optimized for iPhone 5 and above" - ?
That "type 5+ words" thing is weird. I am typing more words.. There was a bug in a pre-release version that caused a crash when you were typing and the game just started (countdown reached zero) Singleplayer doesn't crash as well (iPhone 5/iPad Air)
Does anyone else find Beetle to be very, very, very tanky? I mean he has an item that furthers his light armor and with the global upgrade that converts LA to HA, he gains a lot of heavy armor. Then he has massive amounts of health and several abilities that reduce or completely negate damage. Beetle seems a little too strong IMO.
I'm on a 5S, and I experience lag, crashes, disconnects, etc. Hardware upgrades do not ensure a crash- or issue-free experience. I'm glad that people are posting when they have issues, because it gives additional information about what different people are seeing, and on what configurations they happen. And "optimized for iPhone 5 and above" just means it uses the full screen area of the larger iPhone 5 and 5s screens instead of being letterboxed. It doesn't mean anything else.
I was under the impression that the A5 SOC is still fairly capable, nothing mind blowing expected but still serviceable. It's not like the 4 where it had a extremely weak graphic processor. The game wasn't lagging when it crashes in single player, that's why I asked, it just froze and crashed (I was up to over 20 bugs on the screen and it was perfectly fine). Other wise I would have thought that it was the device being too old. Also I don't currently have an upgrade and base my upgrade on my dad's since I wouldn't want to get a new device and only have 16 GB of storage. And doesn't "optimized" in this scenario mean "fills the whole screen" since I understand many apps still haven't updated/optimized to fit the 4" whole screen *cough* Final Fantasy 4 *cough*
