I've been enjoying Bumblebee + Moth a lot. Totally worth the gems spent on her. This game gets way better after putting some time learn how to manage everything. I was playing as a simple action game at first and overlooked equipment for instance, which can be a game changer as I discovered after a while
Yes, less LoLing and zzzz-ing would probably do you good Crab Spider is right there since yesterday, just like explosive says. Moth is just totally awesome. Her and Bumble, power combo! (But really, she can back up almost any aggressive hero. This is how I use her in single player. I also discovered that she is shamelessly fun in co-op, even for someone like me, who usually has little patience for support roles.)
There's nothing in that page except for the picture with the names of the skills. So yeah, +1 to LOL and zzz.

If so, you probably need to clean your browser cache, or there is some peculiar (but not unheard of) Wikia sync/cache error going on. I'm looking at the full page, on THREE different devices (computer as well as iDevice, to ensure it works), logged in to the wiki as well as an anonymous guest user, each with a different IP/internet connection. Why would I otherwise say it exists, and link to it?

My favorite heroes so far are Worm and Pillbug for regular combo and Field Mouse and Hamster for legends and overall fun factor. I must congratulate FM for getting better and better with each excellent game they release, I really consider their games as premium ios/mobile exclusives that would be at home as Vita or PSN/Xbox Live titles. I purchased the 3k gem pack as I really want this devs to thrive and keep churning this awesome experiences. I only used to unlock field mouse and hamster though, Ive been having a blast unlocking heroes by completing missions.
Hi Foursaken Media, Could you comment on the below picture when using skills that target an area like Artillery Strike, the camera zooms out very nicely, much more so than the default overhead view. Seeing how the functionality is already in there, is there any chance in future to allow us to play under this more zoomed out view? I find it so much better being more zoomed out in some situations. For example, when looking for food/parts the long view over the shoulder gives you the most distance, then if you are being attacked from all sides it helps to have the overhead view, but it zoomed out so little that i end up being in long distance view 99% of the time. If this third option was available for a farther zoom i would probably use that 90% of the time, any time not looking for food.
I would love for someone to post how armor works in the wiki. I have been having much better results with Roach than with any other tank, partially because he's actually fast enough to dodge, but also because he seems to be much less squishy. He has low health, but high armor, whereas beetle has ridiculous health but very low armor in comparison. Just want to know why this is.
Well armor means the chance for that hero to block attacks which is why when you attack say a snail with a hero that has no AP most of the time it will take no damage. Light armor is penetrated by armor piercing + the attacker's damage value, while heavy armor is reduced only by armor piercing so the reason your finding Roach(25 Light, 30 Heavy) better is because he's simply blocking the majority of attacks because most enemies do not have armor piercing damage.
There are implications to that zoomed out camera - for one, the levels weren't designed for that zoomed out view. Also for new players we need to keep a good balance of feeling connected to your characters, and playability (when your bugs are so zoomed out and tiny you can barely tell the difference, they don't seem as special for ex). Also, that would give a bigger advantage to ranged heroes and could actually make some melee combat more difficult. If you tap the little info button on the stats (on hero select screen) it gives you a basic run down. But basically, armor is a straight up % chance to block an attack. So, 50 armor = 50% to block an attack. Light armor is reduced by an enemy's damage + armor piercing. So if a flea is attacking you (for 8 damage), and you have 50 armor, you're going to have a 42% chance to block that attack. Light armor is usually more effective against low damage units or heroes. With heavy armor, the ONLY way its reduced is by armor piercing, which is a straight up subtraction from the chance to block an attack. Additionally, both light and heavy armor each has their own chance to block an attack, so if you have 50 light armor and 50 heavy armor and just got hit by a flea, you'd have 1 42% chance to block an attack (light armor save), and if that failed you'd have ANOTHER 50% chance to block it (heavy armor save). So basically, yes, Roach can get very tanky as he can near max his armor and can double up on both light and heavy. He just becomes very vulnerable to armor piercing enemies like cutter ants, fireflies, bulb ants, etc because of his low health.
Light armor helps negate some damage, for example 100 light armor will negate a hit that is 100 damage if that hit has no penetration - penetration will lower your armor so a 100 damage shot with 20 penetration will end up doing 20 damage. This is also a bit more complicated because the more damage the enemy has the more damage they do to you, so light armor is really good vs enemies that have no penetration, and enemies that hit for small damage. This is my understanding of light armor Heavy armor is a bit more straightforward: if you have 20 heavy armor, and enemy attacks you with 20 damage, it will block 20 damage - if another enemy has 20 damage and also 20 penetration, he will do 20 damage to you same as light armor, where this math gets a bit more complex is that if you are hit by a high damage attack, your light armor will help you little while heavy armor will absorb a bigger chunk because the only thing that affects heavy armor is penetration. So if you are being hit by high damage no penetration enemies, heavy armor helps alot more than light. That said, light armor is good to stack because there is a update skill that gives 5/10/15% heavy armor based on your light armor. Keep min mind the max light armor you can have is 100. IF you do have 100 light armor, you will also have 15 heavy armor if you put max points into that global skill. I can tell you 100 light armor and 15 heavy armor will make any hero very tanky! Thats where scrolls come in if your hero has no innate light or heavy armor, you can use some scrolls
Thanks for responses Foursaken, Further comment regarding co-op/in general - it would be nice to see my friendly co op partner's health even when they are off screen, that way i if i see them drop too low i can know to go try help them. Also in game, vs high HP enemies, would be nice to see their hp somewhere
Anyone know for sure how exp at end of missions is calculated? Is it exp for Mastery levels based on your in game level and diamonds reward is based on level of mission (in endless for example?) How does easy, normal, hard calculate into mastery exp?
I have some questions I can't find answers to: 1) On Normal Endless, I keep dying on Round 15, when...my heroes get turned against each other? Is there an enemy that can mind control your heroes or something? How does one defend against this? It kills me EVERY time. 2) I only build Gunner and Autocannon turrets, and sometimes Bug Banners. Am I doing it wrong? 3) All my gold goes toward mercenaries at first, then maybe a couple specialty item equips. Am I better off investing gold differently? 4) Any tips on the 3x lvl2 Armory level? I played an hour and a half and ended up dying before even getting 2x lvl 2 Armories. 5) When a scroll says something like -5% damage, but the bug's attack drops from, say, 6 to 5...what's up with that? Is it REALLY 5 exact damage, or is he doing 5.7 damage, but the display lists it as 5 for simplicity's sake?
