If missions stay the same I don't see how the flow will be better, since they will reward less diamonds (unless the heroes are MUCH cheaper, but since they dont want us unlocking with diamonds, I assume they mean they will be cheaper in stars).
Yeah which seems to be the case with every game nowadays. Ah well what can ya do Hehe but by bad reviews I was referring to 4 star reviews
I can't beat a mission. I don't understand. It's "Range War". Fortify the food stash and complete 6 rounds. I made it to round 10, but stupid mission wouldn't complete. Anyone else seen this or have any idea?
Thanks for the exhaustive reply. I appreciate it. I am digging deeper into BH2 and seeing more of what you're talking about. Though, I got to a level with H&C where my character was dancing and weaving like Muhammad Ali. I'm not there yet (ironically) with BH2...rather than twitchy, I would say it's a bit mashy. But you might be right and I just haven't mastered the action mechanics yet.
You would instantly unlock a new hero in that case as soon as you booted up the game. The star requirements to unlock new heroes has been lowered after the first few unlocks. When all is said and done, total time to unlock all heroes via stars will be about half of what its at now.
@Foursaken and Pro Players Is the Stinkbug as weak as I hear? He sounds, on paper, like the ideal support character but since all of his abilities require massive micro management and his base stats/weapon are useless, he seems stuck between two worlds. This actually leads me to a new query for an update down the road. How about having the option to allow my support to use abilities at will? I mean we know via the skirmish games the AI CAN somewhat intelligently use these abilities while, at the same time, I do appreciate how, by default, you the player need to initiate when these abilities are used. How about being able to tag each of my heroes' abilities as either "Hands off to AI use" or "AI can use at will"?
Sometimes I feel like the TA app should be preloaded on every idevice so that idiocy would hopefully be avoided. RE: JCho's link of a review on app store
Stinkbug can be powerful - even his raw damage can be good. He's also unique in that he's the only hero where his main weapon damage is partially tied to his mastery level (ie his passive). Also, he cuts through armor better than anyone, and can be geared up to be a pretty decent tank. As for AI using abilities, we discussed this for a while internally during development, and ultimately decided it wasn't the direction we wanted to go. We absolutely wanted to avoid the "fire and forget" mentality of just having a hero run around with you while you basically forget about him (bc the AI can do everything for you). Part of the game design is being able to switch between and manage your two heroes (for better or for worse ). That's also a reason why for ex, we don't even let Termite automatically use his passive on turrets while not being controlled. Of course there are some heroes better suited to AI control (Pillbug, for ex), but generally the best players are the ones that control their 2 heroes the best. Adding auto-ability usage kind of cheapens the threshold for skill, imo... even if its an option. Also, legendary heroes are kind of the alternative for those who don't want to (or can't) keep up with managing 2 heroes at once.
I don't mean to come off as an elitist or a snob but in a week where we have one of the best releases, by one of the greatest iOS developers how are people voting for Tiny Goalie or Flapthulu!? Did these people even play BH2? I downloaded both of those games and while they are cute and good games in their own right they are basically just time wasters and high score chasers, while BH2 is a full gaming experience. But I guess opinions are like a$$holes, everyone's got one.

The offensive upgrade (last one) called Invigorate, is quite meh - "LEveling up (in game) gives a 3/6/9 secnds damage buff of 2x damage) You level up maybe 10-20 times on average in games, and you cant quite choose when to level up so you cant easily time this for important things like hero vs hero clash, destroy base etc. Could this perhaps be a little reworked? I would suggest "Add 0.2% damage for every level your character gains" So on the average it would add for levels 10 a 2% constant damage boost, and by level 20 you will have 4% damage boost. What do you guys think?
I am by no means a "pro" player, but I use Stinkbug and Moth quite a lot. I like stinkbug's ranged attack and armor piercing is the highest I think. Add in Moth's healing and knock back/down attack I find it's pretty effective. I do use two speed scrolls cause he seems slow...
This game does not have a "Story mode" per say, it has solo missions, co op multiplayer, vs in multiplayer and endless. There is no such thing as beating this game...
Huh ? seriously ...... I was hoping for an ultimate last boss , such as a bird , lizard or anything else that is an insect predator
Hah that wasn't an AppStore review, that was a legit critics review from Digital Spy. Which just makes it worse
