You can get food and spare parts by searching the map. They are indicated by a circle on the bottom. You should ask Ayjona though, she's the expert
It looked like an apple, and I think you're character can carry two items at a time (tower parts included). The white bars next to your character's icon show how many things you're carrying. Go to base to unload.
The tutorial is one of the worst I've played in recent years, but get past it and you'll understand. Just keep moving around away from your base.
Quick question on the upgrades that you get for stars. For each ability there are three stats. How do they apply? Is it tied to your character's level?
Yeah, I think we're looking at one of the new and first e-sports for iOS, especially if Foursaken eventually add lobbys with chat, some quick in-game notifications/flags for communication (along the lines of Solstice Arena), leagues, and other competitive and team-based features. ( Eventually, I will collect all my e-sport ideas for BH2 in a suggestions post.) I also think this might become the dominant MOBA activity for the platform, in spite of only being a MOBA-like. Especially seeing as BH2 is actually in quite a few ways more sophisticated and skill-based than many desktop MOBAs. EDIT: Added! And yeah, you as well as everyone and all else looking for BH2 compatriots and opponents, feel free to add me on GC: Ayjona It might be some time before I will have space in my life to play online regularly, but this is the first game (ever) I fully intend to remain (somewhat) competitive at, and play online with a passion.
Fantastic game. Stayed up way to late playing last night. Sadly i have ran into frequent crashing at around wave 11 and 12 on endless in the kitchen. Playing on hard with a slug and a crab spider, using a mini w/retina all other games closed and even restarted hasnt helped.
Game Impressions First, everybody is lucky they can run BUG HEROES 2. Second, the game crashes right after opening it and I have contacted Foursaken Media but they won't even respond. Third, I am never going to download Foursaken Media games!! But I used to like them and now they ruined it!
Mastery levels increase base HP, increase passive strength, and open up new scroll slots every couple of levels. You have to buy the scrolls with diamonds before you can equip them... they're basically a way to customize, change and tweak the way a hero plays. As for the Cicada, that is actually the in-game model As you buy new weapons and armor, there are actual model add-ons in-game, so a Cicada with max armor has an army helmet and a bunch of other armor bits. Food and spare parts have a big aura under them, and are well - pieces of food The types of food are an apple slice, a piece of sandwich, and a piece of cheese. Kitchen is pretty linear so you should pretty much automatically run into them if you walk from one end to the other! Tutorials are always a catch 22, especially in deep games like BH2 with a lot of info. If they're too long and go into too much detail, most players skip it... if its too short, players don't get enough info to play effectively. We tried to skirt a fine line in BH2 tutorial, and I think we pretty much hit every aspect of the game in as brief a way as possible. Up until this point we actually got quite a lot of great feedback on the tutorial. If anyone has any specific suggestions, we'd definitely love to hear them! Thanks for the report, and sorry for the inconvenience! If you can pass along any other info, like what the objective was, what were some of the specific circumstances right before crashing, which heroes you were using, etc, that would be very helpful! Please send any info to [email protected] so our programmers can investigate!
Each upgrade can be upgraded multiple times I believe. So the first time you unlock it will be the first stat. Then upgrade that same ability and it'll be the 2nd stat.
Hi, I can't seem to find your email - there's a chance it just got lost in the shuffle though, so sorry about that! I believe you mentioned earlier you have an iPod Touch 3g? In theory it should run on that device, but I believe we mentioned earlier that the 3g is a device we don't officially support Bug Heroes 2 is a graphically intense game that honestly I'm surprised even runs on an iPhone 4 or iPod Touch 4g... we try our best to support older devices but we can only do so much >_< The good part is the game is at least free...
Well, the reviews are starting to come in. And appropriately enough, 5 stars across the board. And an editors choice review. Easily deserves it. http://www.148apps.com/reviews/bug-heroes-2-review/ I'm sure the rest that come along will share that sentiment.
How many can play multiplayer? 2 players co-op worked great. Haven't been able to get more local players in.
I know what we can do! We write a letter to the gov't asking if we can become the second League of Legends. For those of you that don't know what happened, League of Legends is now an official sport that has its own teams and championships. It'd actually be pretty fun if this did become an e-sport though.
Is slug classed as a melee or ranged character? Also, what view does everyone use? I find the old-school top-down one more nostalgic.
He's ranged. His attack piercing everything and is short-ranged, low damage, and has an unfathomably high fire rate. I prefer over the shoulder
Hey, I've been playing the hell out of this game and so far it's amazing! The free to play isn't too pushy, so I approve. I'd seriously like to thank the devs for making this run perfectly on my iPod 4. It's not that common these days that I can play games on it .
Great game, as expected! So what setups are people using? Trying to find a winning formula early so I don't waste time levelling up characters that I won't be using as much. Currently running Stinkbug and Worm and have got to the 5th spot in the high scores, still way off the top few though. I love Stinkbug. Able to do loads of damage, both single target and aoe, whilst remaining really tanky and providing lots of utility with his slows. I use this guy as my resource gatherer usually. Worm is just a beast. I usually just keep him at the base to utilise his passive regen and knockups. Any suggestions for other characters to keep at base? Or to send off scavenging?
