Coming from a background of playing FPS games with mouse and keyboard has made it really hard for me to adjust to virtual controls. I really wanted to like Foursaken's other titles but I couldn't get over the controls. Bug Heroes 2, though, is just awesome. Taking out gun elevation and leaving auto attack optional has really opened up the game for me. And the virtual controls are really smooth. The IAP is also excellent. Just the fact that I can choose what hero to buy with real money ( instead of some lame RNG mechanic ) is just awesome.
And also legendary classes can only go solo or they can go with a second legendary class or a passive class?
This game is absolutely wonderful. But one thing really "bugs" my OCD. Please make the little pop ups in game less obstructive or quicker to fade away. Having the sign pop up that I have enough coins to buy stuff or that my current objective is to rescue 12 hostages is sorta frustrating when I'm in battle. If there's a way to disable them in the settings I'm unaware. But other than that this game is flawless, and the fact that it's free gives me hope for the human race and I'm gladly buying $5 in gems out of principle to support this game...and to justify my procrastination on any engineering homework I had in order to play lol. So way to go devs...you invented crack Also please make it so I can preview characters abilities instead of ??? So I may better know if I want to buy them.
Sorta bought a lot of scrolls. Not liking the Robot, anyone suggest Mouse Ranger or Hamster? Also forgot to ask.. for ranged classes should I be using auto shoot or aim to be optimal? I feel like autoshoot can screw you up.
Fairly evenly, but with some extra focus on my primary harasser/damage dealer or midfielder. Plus some contextual purchases (such as sharpened edges or needle rounds for a character with no armor piercing when up against heavily armored creeps or heroes, something that will help a passive hero defend the base or heal in between attack waves better, extra xp equipment early on for Aphid, etc).
Mouse Ranger is pretty fun. His main attack is like a machine gun with relatively low ammo. As you upgade his weapon it increases damage and clip size. He can call in an aerial strike, can call in other bugs to fight along him, he can set a point on the ground which will increase your damage and range, and his other special I believe makes it so the enemy bugs cannot use their specials. Not exactly sure on the last skill because its kind of a defensive skill and you can pretty much just mow the enemies over so I haven't used it.
How do you level up other abilities? I only have the first ability on level 3 for each of my chars :/
Is this game best played on iPads or iPhone? I find the iPhone controls to be waaaay too loose. My "look" is flying all over the place, and there doesn't seem to be any way to help with that. Aside from that, this is pretty amazing. A really good job has been done here.
Foursaken, as always loving your game. I already spent $20 IAP just to say thanks and keep the games and content coming. Anyone that had more time to play can give some suggestions on first classes to unlock? I'm more lf a ranged class playstyle but don't mind melee if fun/good one. Thanks
I'm a bit confused on the scrolls. It keeps saying I have a new scroll slot unlocked but I don't see anything I can put there. I only see a spend 5 gems option. And it seems like this is the only way to "edit" your character? What exactly does leveling up do? Does it bring up the base stats? Or just the 1st passive ability and that's it? And the Cicada I like but I'm a bit peeved his weapon is called a shotgun. Mainly because I'm disappointed with it. It has nice power but fires at the rate of a shotgun and that's the big downside. Main issue is that generally shotguns are spray shots. This gun is not even close to being one. I think it'd be better if you edited the gun names and called it a rifle or give it a spread damage. It just seemed pretty weird that to use a shotgun all your shots have to be perfectly aligned. It's even difficult to hit grubs! And is the Cicada on the cool icon image? How come they look pretty different? Cicada is a good ranged power guy but is more like a rifleman. Best Melee I think would be Widow. Then if you're skilled, Aphid is a good melee (but I personally don't like him - extremely difficult to use with stronger enemies). The Ant Captain is a great all around defender with nice offensive capability.
Outstanding! Just another awesome and UNIQUE genre mash-up from the Foursaken team! Thanks again for the hard work and outstanding gameplay! Really looking forward to multiplayer the most. Speaking of.....everyone post your GameCenter ID in this thread if you want to add people for this game. GameCenter: (Twenty-One) Also, I am always looking for opponents to play in any of the games listed in my sig.....
RichRuzz on GC looking for active allies and people for VS. Also the Pill Bug seems stronger than the Mouse, great passive and abilities. (And item to decrease spread)
You're unlocking slots to equip more scrolls at once. But you gotta buy scrolls with that option to get scrolls to equip. By the way, I have only bought one scroll (focusing on buying heroes) but every hero can equip it at the same time. That's nice.
Thanks for the info that really helps. Playing on my ipad now & it's just such an awesome game. Love all the hereos & abilities. This game has tons of replay value especially with multiplayer. I'm always on this & second chance hereos so add me if you'd like. GC: Eilluzion
Im stuck in tutorial how do you get food? I cant find food anywhere on map, what does it look like? Im always stuck 1 star on that map... wish it was better explained as far as tutorials go.
Ahhh okay thanks man. So you buy a scroll for 5 gems and it just boosts your stats like how it shows on the preview screen? You can't pick what kinds of scrolls you get? I had the same issue as you but keep looking. They're randomized at different locations. They're like cheese, apples, sandwiches, etc.
