Pack Roaches increase in stat caps (as well as healing if need be) when they pick up food, and armor increases as they pick up more and more Spare Parts. You can let them grab those if you wish, but it becomes increasingly costly as your Pack Roach(es, if you're ballsy enough to have more than one) pick up food, and especially Spare Parts. His size also increases... I have a pic of the bugger at full size, forgot where. He gets pretty goddamn huge though. Rivals even the War Snail in terms of size.
That's good to know. When I first saw him going for resources, I thought he was just some jacked-up scout foraging for me. Didn't know I'd have to fight him resources!
Yikes...yeah, maybe they should remove him from the spawnables list. I'd rather have none of them around, than a weakling trying to steal my loots.
Hahah, he has no cap on his size (at least in version I tried it in). Once he becomes so huge that you can see only his legs, you can tell he still grows when you are looking at him (=his legs) when he's eating
Hmm, I noticed he capped his size in the version I play under. Can't really tell though. Will check it out, cause now you got me curious.
You' e got a little guy when it wasn't capped he was getting very humorous and then you just couldn't see him even when looking from the other side of map
If you have the money and parts gems, you can basically sacrifice all loot to the almighty cockroach. But does the size of him affect his speed? Bigger legs->bigger strides->more distance covered in less time? Also, are his grenades really big as well?
Foursaken, important question regarding TD mode update Hey Jamie, etc., I am wanting to buy some diamonds and get another legendary or two, but before I do this, are we going to need to buy Garden Beetle, or does he come free with the mode? Do we have to buy the new mode? Thanks!
New mode and the associated hero are both free. Speaking of which, update is out! Of course it has the new Tower Defense mode, new mission system, new laser turret, and lots of balance tweaks and fixes. Make sure to update!
Just did... Funny timing It is so fun... Garden beetle is a mix of bugs, fun mode... Love having ten different options for missions too! Kudos!
On the new update I love garden beetle I think he is a mix of ant, beetle and slug based on his abilities Now I haven't actually tried this, but could you get allies in TD mode by using the ally scroll? I understand why the bug-related turrets have been taken out, but I just thought I'd call attention to this Incase you missed it. Also, I like the new mission system, however once I completed one of my level 4 missions it wasn't replaced, so now I only have 9 missions to choose from. Maybe it will be replaced if I beat the other 4 star mission, but I haven't done that yet. I see what you mean by 'it's mode may cause lag', but then again, I did have about 20 laser turrets at once Would it be possible to add a little check mark or something next to the TD level if you did it without cheating? It's just that it's pretty easy to beat these levels with the junk gem, but it would be nice to have an indication if we have beaten the level legitimately. Thanks again Foursaken!
