For items, I first go for the 25% silencer, then likely the upgraded armor piercing. Unless my partner is some summoner, then might get an ally buff. In between I upgrade weapons, then armor. Played coop with another stickbugger the other day and were doing well, but were hitting the same wall you did. Were trying to save up for War Slugs. Coupled with both our buffs it should've done well, but it's a nightmare to save up for (+4000G). On that note, it would be nice if both players in coop can contribute to a single mercenary. Drop some money on it, then show the difference left.
One of Hamster's unique equips gives a 15% chance to pierce 75 armor... This does not sound so good. Equip the second armor pierce equip for 50 armor piercing. Better than having just the 15% chance. If you want to add more, instead of the 15% chance equip, add the first armor pierce equip for a total of 75 armor piercing. Still sounds better. Cicada's pistols don't seem to increase in power as he does. Both do less than 5 damage, I think. Not good later.
First of all, thanks Foursaken for another great game! I think I have all the Foursaken games (except BF: Wars, cos I haven't even play BF, and I don't think it's my kind of game). A fan since the original BH. So addicted that I connect to my girlfriend via Wifi coop in the office, to sneak in a couple hours of gaming. Just one thing that causes me to rage quit: Bulb ants. Once they appear en masse, and they link up, it's certain doom. To make things worse, 2 queen ants spawning, and it's game over in a heartbeat. But their most powerful weapon is... LAG!!! Can't move, can't activate abilities, and the only thing I can do is rage and die. Just want to ask Foursaken, would you consider balancing of the number Bulb Ants that spawn, and link up? Also, would the lag caused by them be addressed? Hopefully this would reduce the number of cheap deaths, and make the game better!
No offense, but I think you might find Aphid a lot better if you try playing him a bit differently. You should NEVER worry about taking 1 hp/s. Leave it on always. His passive and Mediation, plus food (he's fast enough to quickly return to stash) means you're best off maxing this ability and leaving it on. It helps TREMENDOUSLY. It also keeps your other hero alive and reduces damage to your stash. The only time to turn it off is when using Chi Slash, which, imo, isn't that great of an ability. Sure, it's damaging, but going down to less than 100 life is a big risk even for an experience Aphid player (I'm level 19 with mine). It should mostly be used as an Oh, @#$% button or when you can rip apart a huge line of bugs, which doesn't happen more than maybe once every 3-5 minutes? Using Aphid, I always get to Round 15 or higher on Hard Endless, almost without regard for my second character, and the only micro I do is zig-zag dodging, strafing into melee range, and feinting shots. (except for the occasional popping of Chi, or Mediation when it's up)

I'll try out just leaving his second ability turned on all of the time. I use aphid a good amount (he's at lvl 20), but never tried it that way. I almost never use Chi Slash, so I don't need to worry about that... used it a lot when I first got aphid, but not anymore. It's not worth it. Most of the time I can weave around and take them out manually.
That's a good take, but I still can't stand leaving Aphid as a partner. And I swear his Chi Shot is really good. It's the reason you're not gonna have to worry about big bugs killing you, as like you said it really doesn't have a cost due to his healing and foot speed, etc. I gues he doesn't require micro managing, but I still find him weaker as an AI controlled person. As compared to like Pillbug. (Like defending your stash)
How do you level up scrolls? I have several level one scrolls I have been using that still say 0% to next level.
When you get a duplicate of that scroll it will level it up 20%, so when you get 5 of the same scroll, it levels up
The new update isnt out yet but heres an idea for the next one. Why dont you make it so that we could drop our resources (food and junk) at strategic points. I dont really see the point in defending strategic points aside from if its a mission and stalling enemies so they dont get your foodstash right away, they dont last too long either since SP will be close to enemy spawn points, gold income isnt noticable either. Being able to drop loot at SP will make them more valuable.
Using chi shot is never a problem as long as you use it after combat meditation is toggled on. I use chi shot to eliminate a line of enemies with combat meditation and only in emergencies do I use chi shot without combat meditation. Combat meditation is kind of like a weaker version of sacrifice >_>
They're a great combo but you can only do it in coop. Stickbug is like an offensive version of moth. With the stickbug's shroomlings and moth's heals and buffs, they do well in the early rounds. Problem happens in the later rounds when shroom army is gone. Without the added help, their burst shots aren't strong enough to stop higher tier foes. Try to have stickbug's spells ready for next missions.
This is a very great idea, I was surprised control points didn't work like this in the first place. I do hope Foursaken considers implementing this feature.
I think I might have found a glitch... You're supposed to drop the food/parts on the spot you die if you hadn't gotten some back to base with that hero. I've seen this. Sometimes it didn't happen... I wasn't sure if I took too long to get it, but this time I know I was quick enough as I went straight there with my other hero. Nothing... Then I thought, wait, the round has gone on for a while! Maybe the "no more food and parts will spawn" thing affected the ones from my dead hero!
