    Cicada's totally a pvp bug.

His C4 and stealth means he's constantly a threat unless you have a slug or something. Even then though, it means someone's gotta camp the base.

    Guess what? Classified.
    Classified.
If you want some lols, play skirmish on hard with junk gem, buy as many bug banners you can, and watch tier one creeps do over 100 damage

    Everyone submit your 5 star reviews to the AppStore. This app is featured in the Backyard Battles app collection (which is featured at the moment) so it needs more reviews so more people download it. It's #161 overall. Let's get it back up there (;

I already did. BH2 is too amazing for it to be less than even #50 imo

True. But his C4 ability is really the only threat. The mines and such aren't enough to outweigh his garbage weapon. All they really need to do is give him a decent fire rate or reload or damage or SOMETHING and he would be viable again. But killing things with him unstealthed is a bit of a joke. Moth kills faster, imo.

  7. This morning, with my daughter cheering me on, I was on Construction, 5 star map with Termite and Pillbug. I had all four armories and was at level 4 of 6 required.... suddenly, all my armies got wiped, termite's guns got devastated by Hungry Bugs... then the spiders spawned we had to take down, then cannons, then bumblebee warriors or SOMETHING spawned we had to take down (I didn't even see them, my turrets took them down, creeps, etc...)

My food stash was at 26, final round, fighting by the skin of my teeth... Termite down... Siege cannons crashing...

COMPLETE. My daughter cheered, excited that my bugs won, though she didn't like that I had to kill the moth, because she thinks its pretty :)

PHEW. One of the most exhilirating times in a game I've ever had. Glad its a game I can play in front of my kids, too.

    Thanks, Foursaken!

First of all, congrats on passing a 5 Star construction missions! Those are brutal.

Second, it's nice that your daughter enjoys watching you play, it's like you guys are bonding and that's awesome.

Good luck on your future adventures!

You can win stars in Endless now. :)

Endless, Hard, 14 rounds... one star earned.

    That's terrible.
Even if you want mission mode to be worth more, that's still a bad amount. I don't think I remember any five star missions lasting that long, and for one star? That's terrible! Sorry, but it really is bad.

Even one star every 5 rounds would be decent enough (even considering rounds just keep getting harder).

How far do I have to get for 2 stars? 3? 4? 5? More?

I think this really looks like it needs adjusting.

    Yes its a normal hero.
its tags would be ranged, tank, support.

Maybe his passive could be BloodFrenzy after every kill he deals +1/2/3/4/5 Damage and attacks 1/2/3/4/5% faster for 30 seconds. every additional kill stacks the effects and adds 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds to the duration. Max stacks is 5 (25dmg and 25% faster attack at max)

Are you really complaining about the star you can earn in endless? Can you give me 1 reason why? I had over 600 stars before this update and I think even that single star is good enough. If you don't think so, play missions and/or get the star gem. If FM wouldn't give us this option to get star(s) in endless you wouldn't be complaining, would you?

Yes, but it still isn't a good amount in comparison to mission mode. Like I said, even if the idea is to have mission mode be better, that is still a really low amount.

Endless is still practically useless for earning stars at the current rate. 1 star at 14 rounds when some 5 star missions have 10 rounds or so? That's less than 1/5 the stars.

Why not something like a star every 5 rounds? That's still not half as good as mission mode, but it sounds kind of reasonable if mission mode is supposed to be better.

...I really wasn't expecting people to be against this.
Come on now, does a single star really sound reasonable for that many rounds?
Shouldn't it be at least a half-decent amount?

    Here's a good reason:
I want to play Endless, but I also want to earn my last heroes with stars.
Endless was completely useless for stars. Now it's really bad for stars. Why isn't it more like half-decent? Roughly half as good as mission mode would make sense. But less than one fifth? It's still practically useless as it is.

Why do I have to choose between earning stars at a non-useless rate, or playing Endless? I want to unlock heroes with stars... Endless is practically useless for that, so I "can't play it yet," in a manner of speaking. That's not fun. See my point?

I thought my suggestion was even fairly reasonable, being a not-so-high amount that's still a few stars...

I really wasn't expecting people to be against this.
Sorry, I just don't get it.
One star in 14 rounds! That's such a small amount.

2 stars for 16 rounds kitchen on easy. it might be every 7.5 rounds try some higher numbers.

also there is a serious problem with the electric zappy ranged bugs.
the game will spawn them almost non-stop on ranged wars and waves for me as early as round 16. ive watched them go from like 30ish damage to around 150 in under 10 seconds and the lag makes it impossible to kill them all and they destroy your stash like bam. Not to mention the lag theres just so much lag with 30 different electric chains. will this ever get fixed? these bugs need to have a internal spawn limit or have the animation disappear and add a stack limit because there is no way to kill them with that much lag and when heavily armored gyrocoptors and centipedes are spawning with them.

Also moth's item medicine sack is broken and on that note i think the lv4 weapon's effect may be as well.

I would like endless to have more stars but is it necessary? Not really. There's missions to uphold and in the new update it'll be better with the new game type coming out.

Huh. Does the difficulty level matter for earning stars? Two more rounds on Easy gets another star, so it doesn't look like it.
Guess I'll try easier modes. I was playing Hard for more diamonds... Of course I might actually survive further and earn similar amounts anyway... :p

But on Hard that's definitely still a small star amount. I seriously wasn't expecting people to argue against more than one star for that many rounds on Hard.
Okay, I'll stop repeating that now. :p

Maybe you need to hit an enemy?
...Yes, you need to hit an enemy. I took off the Vampirism scroll so I know that's not what made the healing happen. I tested the medicine sack equipment.

Yes, you can play missions for stars, but Endless appears relatively useless for stars and I don't want to be practically forced out of playing a mode to get more stars. That's my point: while I could play mission mode for reasonable amounts of stars, why do I "have to" play this mode? I want to play Endless too.

At that rate, it would take tons of Endless runs lasting many times longer than playing missions.
Why not at least roughly half the rate of mission mode if mission mode is supposed to be better? At least it wouldn't feel so useless as it looks from my 14 rounds for 1 star.

You're missing the point. Missions had a fixed amount of diamonds, no matter how long you played it, being 2 minutes long to 2 hours long, if you complete the mission you will receive the set diamonds which is usually 3 i think, and the stars would vary from 1-5, or even 7 if there's a bonus. So missions are for stars. Not so much diamonds. Whereas it's the opposite with endless. With endless you can earn diamonds depending on how many rounds you last, so depending on your skill you can triple the amount of diamonds you earn on endless than on missions. So brief summary.
    Mission: Stars, little diamonds.
    Endless: Diamonds.

But FM were being generous and decided to let people obtain stars from endless. Which they didn't need to do due to the accessibility of stars from missions. Like GR3NADE said, you wouldn't be complaining if there were no stars at all.

Yes I would, you missed this part:

My point is, I want to play Endless, one of the major modes... but I also need to earn stars, so I am being forced out of a major mode because it's so useless at star earning.

I practically can't play Endless until I earn all the stars I need to unlock everything with them.

What's wrong with earning some half-decent amount of stars in Endless? It's the big competitive mode. Why be practically forced out of playing it?
