I don't think porting to any new screen size will be too difficult - most of our games are already setup to do so automatically, in fact How much additionally tweaks we'll have to do will depend on the aspect ratio compared to the screen size we have now.
Just wanted to chime in and say I'm still enjoying this game thoroughly. I don't browse the forums as much as I used to, but that doesn't mean I'm not playing the game 24/7! Again, good job, Foursaken!
Like someone asked before, is Garden Beetle going to be a playable hero outside of the new game mode? We need an answer Foursaken, I mean we have 3 different types of spiders(idea for a future hero, huntsman spider perhaps?) already playable so why not another beetle?
No, he will only be available in the TD mode - reason being his abilities and battle power are directly balanced with that mode in mind. He's actually more like a combination of existing heroes than a completely new one.
I'm still confused a bit about armor piercing... If the enemy does not have light armor, does your hero's armor piercing number get added onto the damage number, or is it ignored?
Everytime you upgrade his first ability he gets 10+ armor and a lot of armor piercing! at the cost of taking 50% more damage. His second ability is useful for siege waves as there are lots of clusters. His fourth ability is useful as well, as you could smack a war snail in the jaw and it wouldn't be able to attack for 10 seconds. If you have a good support bug/healing bug with you, just go berserk with ability 1. Upgrade his armour to tier three to get hp regen of 1.5hp/sec If you get the health amulet, he has over 1000 hp near level 8
Oh that does make sense now, very interesting and thanks for the answer, this is why you guys are awesome!
Is bumblebee quite strong? I dont want another bug that takes all the hits so i can attack with my other bug. Like crab spider. I want a good damage dealer thats not too weak. Is this what I'll be getting from bumblebee? If not can someone suggest me another bug. thanks in advance!
Bumblebee can be a tool of devastation, yes. But just be wary that he gets very little, if any, armor from upgrades, so be careful with him. His Bumble Boots equip can also make him cruise around like he's a walking car, too. It's humorous, but it does indeed serve a combat purpose too.
He doesn't get armor with his first skill, he gets added power (and the mentioned armor piercing). His first two abilities can also be activated and turned off at any time. There's a minor glitch with his first ability's effect display (hold your finger on the ability). With it off, it says how much total armor piercing you get (including from armor piercing scrolls). With the ability on it says double that amount, as if it thinks you can activate it while it's active.
The tooltip also says +100 AP while active at level 5. However, Bumble's AP is only 65 on his stats screen Maybe a tooltip oopsie? Doesn't bother me that much anyway, though.
