While we're on the topic of me being in a need of help. I got another question. I have 112 stars and I have a feeling alot of you have like double that. Well i want to know how you guys get so much stars? I'm really struggling. At the moment i run around with termite and crab spider. I let spider take the hits while i gather parts, then i go ham with termites turrets. My bugs are: Termite Army ant Moth Crab Spider Widow Any good tips that will improve my game?
Field mouse's damage output is far greater than robot's and field mouse has better abilities compared to robot, like spawning ally fleas and a tactical air strike. Robot's attack is too slow and takes a while to reload, his best ability is his infinity blast imo. So you should definately get Field mouse first you won't regret it.
Go Moth and C Spider. Let C Spidey do the tanking, and use Moth for AoEing everything in range. Taunt also makes things much easier on Moth.
Get a good afk bug. For example, my pillbug is the highest level right now, because you can just put him near your food stash or something, and he does his job. In fact, that's what he pretty much specializes in. Also, get a good food stash killer for the food stash missions, you'll get easy five stars with them. (Like aphid, etc.) Army Ant is decent, as you'll only have to switch to get armor/shield etc, but most of the good afk bugs are ranged. Moth is decent too. (The ranged standby bugs will let you roam without losing your food stash in twenty seconds.)
I don't mind the iaps, as long as you can get them reasonably without purchasing them. ugh, the worst is ones that are required, or constant iaps.
I don't think the required stars and timed mission rewards stack, but bonus heroes, onslaught missions, and timers/required stars all stack. I'll have to double check all the numbers, but quick glance is if its a required stars and/or timed mission, its x2 diamonds. If it has bonus heroes, it'll give you either bonus stars or bonus gems. And onslaught missions are a kind of "bonus" mission as well, where they innately give you more diamonds. I'll have to go through everything tomorrow to make sure its working as it should. On another note, I can't remember if I mentioned this or not, but next update will award a small amount of stars for playing Endless. Not as much as playing missions though.
Wow, Army Ant's buffs can increase his damage to skyrocket past almost ANY other bug's. I tried out a lol-worthy setup of him and Pillbug, using AA to roam around and kill everything, while all of my base posts are Shroom Farms. Basically, have AA get every shroom, have him with a tier 4 weapon, get Honor Smash to at least 2 (or 3), Lead the Charge, and Inspiring Banner. Step 1: Consume all Shrooms (MAKE SURE THEY ARE FULLY GROWN FOR MAXIMUM BONUSES) Step 2: Find a bunch of enemies. Step 3: Activate Lead the Charge Step 4: Honor Smash dem gribblies Step 5: Put down Inspiring Banner Step 6: Smash any bug you find And his damage should reach 600-999. Yes, you heard me right, 999 damage. Enjoy your OP-ness.
Chi shot isn't a one hit kills everything, his leech skill he heavily relies on got nerfed pretty hard. From 30 hp a kill at level 5 to 11 HP at level 5. Would've been okay with 15 and he always takes that 50% hit no matter what. He's not what he once was, which is actually pretty balanced. Nerfing Combat meditation was all you needed to do really. Against a machine gun snail Aphid is dead 7 times out of 10 if not in cover. Same goes with most ranged creatures. Ants wreck aphid as well as those flea gunner teams. Now he's more like a glass gun instead of a glass cannon.
He still does quite well against Melee bugs, provided it isn't a War Slug, War Snail, or IMBAREKYA Giant War Slug. Against groups... Not that great on any longer.
He's definitely still a cannon imo... he just isnt a super survivable one like he was before. With combat meditation at level 5, lets face it... it was the same as invulnerability for a super long duration, which ALSO let him spam off chi slashes... so that ability was like a double buff. That would be all fine and great on its own, but combat meditation ALSO majorly buffs his and other allies damage so that he can cut through anything even with his normal attack (that damage buff also affects chi slash). Combat Meditation was brought into line with what it should be... primarily a damage dealing and buffing ability, with a nice little heal side effect. I feel like he's no longer a no brainer option, which is a good thing. He's still a great hero, but no longer a "must have." Mind you, ideally, we want to get to a balance point where NO hero is a "must have"... that would imply theyre all about even
I dont know about Aphid but I just unlocked Bumblebee and it feels very powerful as it is right now compared to my other regular heroes so i think the tweaking was correct.
I think it'll be cool if we get a picture of the 4 brothers who created these games! I mean only if you guys are comfortable with it!
I can see what you're getting at. Combat meditation and chi shot used together are deadly and once served as an insta heal for aphid. Originally I always used Aphid and another hero but now I change it up. I guess the changes were for the best.
