Sorry if this has already been answered but does this have cloud sync? Can I play on my iPad and then continue on my phone when I am on the go?
Foursaken i want to congratulate with this great game!! Although i havent played iy that much i will asure you that i will play this game for the coming months. After a few games i can see its has moved beyond the tactical gameplay from the first bug heroes. Which was my favourite IOS game of all time. Also this game has more heroes/abilities to discover. If i have played some more games i will give you some feedback. Because know you guys want this. I have never seen a developper discussed his own game for such a long time as you with the first bug heroes. For me personal i would like to see as some people allready mentioned a kind of coin/diamond doubler. I would love to pay for this game. The only thing i dont like is to buy an one time pack of diamonds. To earn them and support you guys would be a great combination. But thats just a personal feeling from me. I will give you guys some appreciation for this great game even if that means i have to buy diamonds for it
I am too stupid for that game. Got already stuck after two minutes. I can move and look but what should I do at the machine? When I hit "Feed" it tells me that both characters are "at full health", when I want to build/buy turrets it tells me that I have no money and that was it. Well… Maybe I should download/open the old version first and see how to play that.
You don't need the old version. The 'machine' is your base. Your characters health is the green bar near the bottom of the screen. If that is full, there is no point feeding your guy. Feeding uses the food in your base to restore health. Amount of food is the green bar at the bottom. You get food by finding it on the map. There are also other machines around your base, which you can tap on and add stuff like a machine gun, sniper..Money to buy these turrets are the gears, not coins. Collect gears (or whatever theyre called) by looking around the map. Coins are used to upgrade your guy (for that one match). Hope this helps.
A bit disappointed that endless (and other modes, for that matter) don't have save. I have an hour to kill each day so it's not much of a problem for me, but for everyone else I imagine it is frustrating for them.
Yep, full iCloud. And an option in settings to manually upload or auto upload. Or both. And a further option to download cloud save. So couldn't be easier to transfer between devices. One of the better set ups I've seen. Oops. Gr3nade got there before me. Oh well. I shall stomp him with my slug later on
Thanks but I couldn't find any food or gears on that kitchen table (well there is plenty of food but I don't know how to pick it up). Hired some ants troups in those little shops with the coins I'm getting automatically by just letting the game running. But they didn't move. Then there was some invasion and those ants fighted against them and won (and leveled up). I didn't do anything in this little combat, it played from alone. When I get back to the machine (where the little arrow points to) it's always the same: No need for food, no gears to build something.
Anyone else find the ant bad? It has too little health for me.. If I bought 500 crystals, who should i buy?
hint: in the beginning when you only have two or three heroes, choose the question mark at the bottom in the hero selection screen to get an 25% increased amount for crystals. Well, cause you only don't have that much heroes it wouldn't make any big difference.
Came back to post after seeing this game has been released. I can see a huge improvement over the original game. One thing I didn't like is how small it looked on my ipod touch. I supposed it will look so much better on iPhone 5s or ipad. Anticipating an Android release! Oh by the way, I got the termite and the worm. Potentially pure offense/defense combo. Nostalgic.
Re: ant: This were exactly my thoughts at the beginning but then I leveled himup (mastery level), making his passive more useful and I found out that it (the passive) is the main use for me. Level up his 2nd ability and keep mobile shield ready against heroes and when food stash is under attack. I scored 9xxx score with ant and spider Duivs: re: saves: only skirmish doesn't have save but everything else does.. If you were playing endless in yard (no matter what difficulty) and your game reloaded, just go to endless and choose yard, it'll offer you to continue Re: favorite heroes: Endless: Worm - as long as he doesn't die, you can't make ANY mistake Termite - don't use him to fortify your food stash!! Use him to control whole map with his turrets and just run around hitting the turrets to keep them alive Spider - makes a good team with any defensive hero Pillbug - can defend food stash on his own BUT I found him very good in offense lately, just buy all of the armor and be sure to use his 4th ability (hardened shell). In kitchen you can level up his 3rd (toggle) ability while defending food stash and first two abilities destroys any threats Mision (I'll not include endless heroes here) : bumblebee is great in siege misions - just turn on both of his toggles and get easy 5 stars, you won't take any damage anyway Slug is great at destroying food stash in combination with worm's kamikaze Beetle is good in missions against hordes of fleas and against ranged units becouse of his "no pain" ability
Waterbug and stinkbug. (They were my original two) I bought tarantula (to support the devs) seeing as you can only hold 1 legendary, do you reckon legendary's are around as effective as two characters?
I think I played too many hours of H&C, this game feels like a sequel to Monster Adventures to me. I tried so very hard to like that game... Block Fortress also consumed me, I dunno the generalized 'style' of these past two games is just not up my alley.
And for me BH2 feels like H&C with Bugs but much deeper Btw, someone asked about if it is possible to send out an ally to gather resources. I guess the answer is no, but u can buy a packer in the armory for some gold and he will do this for you.
