Ahaha, that's awesome. I practice my martial arts creed and workout as close to Bruce Lee's routines as possible. Definitely extremely difficult though. I want this game too, never been able to play a legitimate 3D Bruce Lee fighting game.
Lol, yeah, only Bruce Lee game I've ever played was that pretty lame one on the Genesis. It was really mediocre. I almost said Rise to Honor on the PS2, but I just remembered that it was Jet Li, not Bruce Lee. Whoops. Good game either way.
Lol it was just the name. And I just remember it being a fun game. Either way, I'm really looking forward to this game. It's going to be the best Bruce Lee game out there.
I Googled for "Bruce Lee iPhone" and this is the first thing I came up with: http://dailymobile.se/2010/02/16/iphone-bruce-lee-dragon-warrior-%E2%80%93-coming-soon-to-the-app-store/ That might be it.
Really? That explains why the controls look pretty similar... I just hope the game is more fun than Kroll. It may have been cool when it came out, but I played it back then and got bored in minutes. This, on the other hand, looks like it's going to be insane.
Awesome. Thanks man. I'm really looking forward to this one now... beating up that mime dude in front of the Eifel Tower is going to be so fun...
Judging from the gameplay video, they should be around mid-way done with this game now. I guess they'll be releasing it soon then (as in within two months or so). I definitely hope so. No problem.
The game wins an imga (international mobile gaming award) http://imgawards.com/EN/the-winners.php People choice's award (I want this game now!!!)
hopefully they add some 3gs-special effects, from the video i saw there is only a little Special Effect when kicking your opponent, there must be some more decent effects while kicking, like tekken, but not overloaded ofcourse.
The only 3Gs special effect I need with this game is Bruce Lee kicking someone in their motherfreaking face. That would do me nicely, thank you very much.
I've been doing a little research into this game and into its maker's Digital Legends and Indiagames. I found a few more details from Pocketgamer that haven't been posted in this thread yet. This bit sounds good: And this is interesting: And here's a couple of new images I found online: This is interesting too, first the Digital Legend's Website and secondly an article from USA today about them. It also talks about their appearance at the WWDC 2008, when they first showed off Kroll. Apparently they were asked by Apple to travel to California the next day without any guarantee that Apple would highlight the game at WWDC! On digital legend's blog it says that the video is a "pre alpha" version, so this may be a little way off yet.
